the homeless people who would rather starve at the shelter instead are just too racist to go to the gurdwara for free food, or to realise they immigrants are actually kind and hard working. Not everyone is like that in my experience, I'm not from brampton but I'm sikh and I have sikh friends who are white and indigenous as well. One thing people don't realise is a lot of Canadians are actually really racist. You clearly saw that from the interview of the guy and his wife who was an RN, they passed the exam fair and square but I feel like his lack of understanding of the English language didn't get his point across right. The point he missed was the quality of life is higher in Canada, In India it's way easier, the cost of living is way cheaper, there's tons of cheap labour to hire maids for all your house work for example which is common in their culture, but as you've probably seen online, India isn't the cleanest or friendliest place to be, and if he was a nurse in India he would probably be broke without a good job, and having the opportunity to find good high paying jobs in something that Canadians also do when they travel to the US if a position in their field isn't available in whatever local city they grew up in. The main issue stems from international students from like after covid, regardless of country, India is in the spotlight because there's just more indians compared to other countries international students but its all the same stuff, you have kids from all over the world that might not have learned the same cultural practices, fresh 16-18 year olds living alone for the first time that have to do all their own chores and don't even know how to take care of themselves in some cases or do laundry or anything like that and it doesn't mean they were illegal immigrants or anything, just that they never put in the effort to learn because they were too entitled, its the same with entitled kids that go to Korea or Japan from north America as well that don't learn their culture and customs and misbehave because they are too entitled, and once you understand that you can see the bigger picture more clearly instead of just defaulting to racism. Also I'm not saying they can't be frustrated, its frustrating for everyone, even for me but racism isn't the answer.

Bruh the comment section is filled with racist people not minding india's population and seeing the not so big size of the country and still criticizing it for its poor infrastructure or people. The people also forgot how rich India was before united kingdoms invasion and how the British empire stole all the valuable resources from India like gold and used it for the development of London. So pls I am respectful don't be racist towards other countries. All are equal made by god just separated by borders of countries but live in the same soil which is our earth. It's also a fact that the people who have enough money or are rich in India live a good life where the infrastructure is good the people are good like the system in upper castes. Whereas the poor people are the ones which have to suffer as generally they are low castes and don't get jobs offered in India as they face caste discrimination and so they get involved in illegal activities like scam call centres and robbery to get some money. The foreigners only see the bad side of India and the bad people who are poor and have to earn something for their family to survive. So pls I know that the things these are doing are illegal or bad but still don't blame whole India for it as those people are very poor have nothing to eat and so they get lured by strangers into doing these things. I can easily say tyler is racist because it's just bad things about India that he shows like the photo of punjab he shows like a random street in punjab a person is driving in motorcycle and there is garbage all around and not showing the golden temple or beautiful places there. I know the people should point out the mistakes of a country like dirty places there but like all the images shown of the country are dirty and not a single picture is good about it even though there are many. I dont know about anywhere else in canada but ive noticed that a growing number of men lurking around playgrouds trying to lure children are east indian males in their 20's-30s. These cultures in their own countries had arranged marriages where they married children and is something they are bringing to our country except we dont allow that here so we are taking in these preditors who clearly want a young child and shielding them because if we point this out were racist. And to be clear i know theres other races that are preditors canadians included . But its a scary number of them that are young imigrant males who marry children in their own country

For nearly 20 years, Conservatives have been warning Canadians about the challenges we are now facing but every time, they were dismissed and branded as “racist” for simply pointing out the obvious. Meanwhile, grassroots Canadians along with immigrants who came here in the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s had one goal in mind to work hard, build a better life, and help "make Canada a stronger and more prosperous country". Their efforts over the last 60 years are clear in the Canada we inherited. In contrast, the Liberal and NDP approach has been to ignore these warnings and push policies that are eroding the very foundations of what made this country thrive. Instead of focusing on integration, responsibility, and opportunity, they are enabling divisions and importing problems rather than solutions. So, to the commenters who keep voting Liberal and NDP: thank you because you are ensuring this decline will continue.

There is a clear lie in that video. Nobody is in Limbo. Mind you there is normal Federal Express entry program still happening. Meaning, that if you get selected through that program, you can immigrate to any province of your choice - including Quebec. You can also still get bonus points for Canadian education (Quebec education does count) and Canadian work experience (if it qualifies). So the only thing that happened was, that one provincial nomination program was ended, that is all that happened. The practical problem is, that provincial nomination does give so many points, that it is a guarantee of normal express entry pull as long as you just meet criteria to enter Express entry. So provincial nominations are suitable for people that might be otherwise struggling with points (older age, less language perfection, les bonus points from education or work experience). For a disclaimer, provincial programs are based on a specific province needs and just because one was opened when you planned to go and study or work in Canada, it does not mean it will be like that forever. If an agent made you such promise, then he was misleading you. Again for those people demonstrating, nothing has changed for them other than one future option was gone. They still have their student or work permit until it expires. They also can apply into Express entry program as normal. On a side note for Canadian trying to cheer about this, be aware, such change can also mean that economy projection for next few years is not the best. so take it a warning sign. Or if we are lucky, it was found that this program was not bringing intended type of skilled worker or was heavily abused.

To be here as a citizen today, I had to pay CAD$35.000 for a two years program in Toronto. But to get the study visa I had to prove a lot of things, including money, proof that I had paid the college (at least 1st year), English, a Bachelor degree (education), a clear criminal history, and what attach me to my country. I had to study hard, and only after graduation I could have 3y work permit. By working in Canada I could get more point to become a permanent resident. After 2y having my PR, I could get the citizenship, but I had to prove I pay taxes, clear criminal history, and other things that show I would be a good citizen. So, I worked (and still work) hard, I am currently in two jobs and at school taking my masters, I respect the laws, I respect the culture (I never tried to impose mine), and I pay over CAD$10.000 in taxes per year on my income. That said, I feel as a slap on my face when fraudulent and dishonest people are able to be here cheating the system in any way. Some people may say I am an immigrant against immigration. NO, I am in favor of people taking the right path to immigrate, and make real contributions for this country, not coming to be scammers and criminals.
