I have no words to describe the immigration lawyer guy. I'll let others do that. Canada owes these people nothing. They are here on a temporary basis and now must leave. I suspect some will try to stay but most will go. Their options are miserable and likely far worse then in their home countries.

Carney put an incompetent in this Immigration role. He wants millions of new immigrants to come to Canada. While they may have lowered student Visas and temporary worker permits, VISITOR PERMITS are probably being given out in the millions …. ONCE these ‘visitors come’ - they are NEVER followed up to ensure they go home. It is these people applying for refugee status or asylum .. in the millions …. Liberals want this uncontrolled immigration - with no checks and balances .. because these are the millions of new votes they are getting. Who can check on VISITOR visas and the numbers coming in and going home? I think this is the gap …????

I love Punjabi people, they are high class and they surprise me when they tell me they were farmers before coming to canada because I don't get that rugged vibe from them. That guy at 2:50 was purhaps the most honest 'white' guy you will meet. The fact is Indians didn't take over, the upper class just decided to move north to Bolton or more west to the Halton area. Over time enough Indians replaced them to basically take over important roles like police officers and political positions. Eventually just like East Asians have Markham and parts of Scarborough, the south Asians had a high enough population for Brampton to be considered their home turf. Eventually though it was the student visas that drove Canadians crazy. Millions of students in record time and I believe there was an additional 4 million who came on temporary work visas during covid, eventually Canadians got annoyed. Personally I don't see any problem with it as long as we keep building apartments and homes for the new immigrants to rent and live it doesn't bother me. I would like to see three times more immigration especially from Europe as this country is super underpopulated and we need people to open factories and build companies that will strengthen Canada as a whole and employ our own not just send money back to their countries. So its not an invasion we just need come to a place of understanding and learn to work together. I will finish with the one negative; there truly is a massive lack of assimilation and this may prove to be more of a problem than we realize but I won't go into it. I’ve lived in foreign countries as both temporary and permanent resident but I never ever felt entitled to reside there forever. While I’m sure some are caught off guard, they still have a home to go back to. We already have a mess with incompatible newcomers. Maybe we can work on that next.

I heard why the government did the immigrants wrong. I was talking to an uber driver and my pharmacist. They told me the promises of luxury in Canada has and offered for them to live a better lives. They didn't know after they came here for work and or college/university they become in major debt. They said that they're in a luxury debt and never getting out of debt knowing that they're stuck in Canada and can't be allowed to leave unless they pay off the debts. That's 100 % wrong to do that to people when they know they don't feel welcomed and want to go home. I'm a metis Canadian and I had to leave Ontario to find affordability and miss my home. GOVERNMENT THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW IT! Let them go home in debt. You made this mess. FIX IT! Including the baby boomers that made the problem started 8 % rate interests to buy houses. That was a mistake that should be bought 1 house and nothing else. I forgot to add something. The uber driver told me that india doesn't know that it's a debt luxury trap that you can't leave unless you pay your debt. He felt alone and found some people and the internet to make himself feel better temporary. TEMPORARY! He hates it here, but he respects Canadians. He feels sorry for the new ones that are coming to become debt trap. It's the same for the pharmacy. She got into college to be a pharmacy and bought the store. She is on low income but doesn't qualify for any supports like benefits to pay off her medical things. The reason she can't because they'll see the pharmacy store is income. Wait what? So she doesn't quilify for benefits because she's making income to pay off her massive loan to do her job. It's not enough to live by as what she told me. She also does misses home, but also traped in luxury debt. This is what I have learned so far. I went through a car accident and coudln't get out of the car. I thought in Brampton, Ontario was the rudest people on the planet, but was saved by the angels of indian people saved me out of the vehicle from the smoke. I still thank you! There is still good people out there and some are stupid people out there. Keep it up because being kind gets you to be positive to others and make things better when the world is fcked right now.

The name should tell these people everything. It was TEMPORARY, it ended, time to go home. Canada owes them nothing. Why is that so hard to understand and why these immigration lawyers have a problem following the law?

I know it's not on most people's radar, but what is a huge problem that no one talks enough about is how when so many temporary foreign workers come here, they make money in Canadian dollars and then send that money out of our economy to their home Country. So our Canadian dollars are sold, and isn't spent in our Economy. When you go somewhere and you don't see any born in Canada employees you really need to make a choice to not support that business. Canadian wages should go to Canadians and spent in our economy. I hope we wise up and we start to really limit how many people we bring into the Country. We're literally bringing in 400K+ people that's about the size of Halifax, EVERY year. We just cannot support this rapid growth. Especially when the people coming in have no intention of integrating and do not share our values.

Another important concern is that visa officers in certain countries who facilitated fake applications through bribery should be thoroughly investigated, while many genuine and legitimate visitor‑visa applicants — who simply wished to visit Canada and enjoy places like Niagara Falls — were unfairly rejected. The full staff in these offices should be reassigned, and the approval systems and procedures should be completely overhauled to ensure transparency, accountability, and proper decision‑making going forward. Immigrants who have legitimately obtained Permanent Residence or Canadian citizenship are also facing unfair barriers, especially in the job market. Despite having full legal status, many are not even given interview opportunities, while corrupted or poorly monitored ATS systems are being exploited by bad actors. Employers — including major banks and other leading organizations — have hired temporary workers without properly verifying their status or detecting fake documentation. Canada needs a clear hiring principle: priority should be given to Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents first, and only when no qualified applicants exist should other categories be considered. LMIA approvals should be paused to prevent misuse and ensure fairness for those who have followed the legal pathway. Strengthening verification processes and enforcing employer accountability would help restore integrity and fairness in both the immigration and employment systems. Many of these immigrants have sacrificed their assets and life savings in their home countries, embraced Canada as their new motherland, and now find themselves suffering with no realistic path to return — making fairness and accountability in the system even more essential.

The country needs the right type of temporary workers that can support the building of housing and not cheap agriculture labor. Also from a student point of view; if they are studying in areas which aren't aligned to the needs of the country then need to go back home. It would be a disservice to Canadian's and the students to keep them here.
