for me very hard to believe; this people living in the USA, get here, and no money?? WHY WE HAVE TO GAVE THEM EVERYTHING,??? what about our own people?? no food no money but this "HUMAN " get it , what they want, PLEASE GO HOMEEEEE!!!!!!!! we was a legal landed immigrant 1986 but we was working in SWITZERLAND then they kicked us out, we was honest, we told them , we have a money, from jan. _ may we had to show the Canadian ambassador how much money we have, and we got here but no help. only the English school and we was so happy, 3 years later we asking the citizenship and we got it, THANK YOU CANADA

As a Sikh, born and raised in the US, this is an opinion I've had since this KHALISTAN stuff began. We go to Canada if we miss India, because it's basically become MINI PUNJAB LOL. Another note. The Khalistan topic is all nonsense. I don't know why SO MANY CANADIAN BORN and AMERICAN BORN SIKHS support or push for this. IF YOU PLAN TO MOVE BACK TO KHALISTAN, for sure support it. Don't push an issue you would not commit to. Plus, no foreign born would comfortably move to KHALISTAN, if it existed, due to the lack of opportunities. My parents left India for the lack of opportunities (legally). They knew Punjab has no future, since the Indian nation shrunk it's state borders, and we become a LAND LOCKED state. If this LAND LOCKED COUNTRY were to be established, everything would be ridiculously expensive, and Khalistan would be lucky to become as "successful" as EXPENSIVE Switzerland. It's illogical to support Khalistan on an economic standpoint.

Hmmm, come to Canada from your 3rd world country and we will give your family a one time payment of $50,000. More money than you have ever seen in your life time. Literally like winning the lottery. I mean if, say Switzerland, was offering you, yes you, a cheque for $50k to come live in their country wouldnt you take it if you didnt have much here in Canada? I wonder why they would like to live in the US so much? I've been there and I've met a lot of people from there, I am a tour guide from spain. I would say the US its an ok country, with good job opportunities, nice infraestructure but with a lot of problems of drug abuse, homelessness and crime Specially for a so called "developed nation". I was shocked when I heard that there are what you call school shootings there! Why don't you tackle that problem and alow it to happen? I have never seen that, in such a scale in more developed countries like switzerland, japan or south korea.

News reports in Europe indicate that Switzerland may be holding a referendum in July 2026 to cap the population of that country at 10 million. If the population at any point reaches 9.5 million, then Switzerland would be obligated to withdraw from certain treaties involving free movement of European citizens. Perhaps It's something to consider here in Canada, capping the population at no more than 40 million. Oops. We're already past that.
