As a brown person who migrated to Ireland, i can tell you i haven't met, spoken to or hung out with any of the people from my birth country in years. Why? Because, my Irish school mates, my Irish neighbours & Irish colleagues have never made me feel insecure about my color or origins. However in the last five years, some communities like the pakistanis, brazilians & nigerians started creating their ghettos despite the fact that the Irish did not discriminate. They "rule" their ghettos as if they're sovereign territories and do not interact with the Irish, who loves a good banter & socializing. Now the Irish are feeling insecure & one can feel, hear & see the change in attitudes towards immigrants. I fear that in the future i may face the consequences of some other people's decision to stand out instead of mixing. It is quite sad actually!

You can't have it both ways!! First we were told to STOP having so many children...they said there are too many bodies on the earth, DEMANDED we reduce the number of course we're having. Corporations who's companies depend on workers and an ever increasing profit share, are being gutted from within by greedy shareholders. These corporations have borrowed money based on past, present, real and IMAGINED INCOME...and that model collapses if there are not enough consumers to buy their products. These corporations will go bankrupt and fall into ruin if we continue along with the current climate change model fear mongering about too many people. The fact is Canada has NEVER had too many people. We run at a carbon DEFICIT compared to other nations with same population. The world doesn't have a population problem - the middle East has a population problem, and since we share NO BOARDERS with any of these nations - NOT ONE OF THESE PEOPLE IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY. I think very less people have problems with other people who come legally and work legally. The problem mainly lies with the illegal and zero accountability towards that. Illegal immigration destroys culture and the country itself. I myself came to USA thinking I will be learning about american culture and maybe start adopting as well but all I saw was brown people because I was in tech which is widely dominated by brown people and it was very sad honestly.

I have no words to describe the immigration lawyer guy. I'll let others do that. Canada owes these people nothing. They are here on a temporary basis and now must leave. I suspect some will try to stay but most will go. Their options are miserable and likely far worse then in their home countries.

I don't blame the people. They're poor, destitute, desperate, etc. We must look at the ones who are directly benefitting from importing them. Those are the traitors.
