Don’t know about Canada, but in US, Indians are the richest ethnic groups. Canada does attract lesser skilled Indians. However, pretty sure Indians contribute more than their share of taxes. You guys can keep on hating but all the western countries need Indians as that’s where the population is. And people work hard. They are invited. >99% Indians immigrate legally. They’re abiding by rules laid by these countries. Up to these countries to decide the rules.

Let's go back 30 years when Europeans who came over had to buy and run a business for 5 years then they could apply for Canadian citizenship. Brampton used to be full of Italians. Not sure what happened to make it full of Indians now.

Immigrants are not aliens, they are legal immigrants. On the other side, original Canadians are to be blame for their low birth rate, due to which government hasn't any choice but to have foreigners to run the businesses and dialy life course. The low birth rate is real issue. If the people of Canada didn't focus on this, sooner or later foreigners will overtake Canada. And of course when immigrants comes, surely they will bring their culture and living style too. Asking them to adopt Candian culture from the first day is senseless. There is no point of blaming immigrants for overtaking Canada.

Wow, western countries are over with, all the EU/UK/USA (no matter what Trump thinks he doing) are all to multi cultural to ever reverse this, in the 30 whites will be a minority, in 50 a rarity and the world will continue, this is life baby, for all us in our 50s, sure was nice back in the day, at east we got to experience it. Most Indians know this, and they need a reminder no matter how much they contribute to a foreign land or sacrifice the last drop of blood in a foreign country, they will never be accepted for you don't tolerate your family members in your house if you feel you are being squeezed facing competition even if they pay you, its natural. This is the most biased Canadian propaganda I've ever heard. I was standing in line at city hall in Calgary (paying my past due power bill which I can barely afford, even though I make 40k a year.) and watched a flood of immigrants in front of me claiming their 100% free bus passes. Apparently, you need an authorisation letter from welfare to claim your free bus pass, yet, none of them seemed to have documentation that matched their id. One guy picked up six free bus passes with a stack of letters that didn't match his name, or, even surname, at all. The cashiers seemed like they had just given up and handed over the bus passes saying, "next time make sure the person named in the letter is here to pick it up in their free pass person." <sigh>

Be nice if they gave Canadians what they give immigrants, I'm sure you'd see us start having kids again.

It's coming to a small town near you.. I'm just glad they decided to fill up brampton before they fill up surrey (which they surely will very soon) When i was a kid, i was annoyed that there were so many chinese where i lived (Richmond, iykyk) but they never really did anything to wrong me. As i grew up i realized they just mind their own business and stay out the way, and generally let their children be pretty liberal (other than the studying). Now, I absolutely LOVE the chinese compared to all the damn indians. There isn't a trend of chinese buying business' then only hiring other chinese. (idk how indians get away with only hiring indians). The indian kids are rude AF usually, tons of wannabe gangsters, TONS of indian gang crime. . And the worst? the ones that live in brampton and surrey treat it like india. THEY treat YOU like a foreigner. I hate em. I just dont understand why immigrants cant just atleast learn the language and customs

As an immigrant I highly agree…IF YOU CAME TO ANOTHER COUNTRY FOR A BETTER AND PEACEFUL LIFE YOU SHOULD EMIGRATE, RESPECT AND BECOME PART OF THAT COUNTRYS’ CULTURE AND NOT TRY TO DESTROY IT. Cause I’m sure that tourist who visit certain countries are expected to do the same . For example if I wanted to travel to a Middle Eastern Country I would have to wear a Burka or another form of head covering even though that’s not what I’m use to. So yea…If you can’t respect Canada for its culture STAY IN YOUR COUNTRY OF BIRTH AND STOP TRYING TO CONFORM CANADA INTO SUCH.

So ironic because I remember the days when my fellow Canadians were mad at the influx of well behaved, tax paying, money spending Chinese immigrants around 10-15 yrs ago. Sure they bought up a lot of real estate and contributed to the raising property values, but many of the Canadians benefited from that selling their property for amounts they never even imagined and they created a small economic boom in the GTHA. I'll bet many of us miss them dearly now we know what true bad immigration looks like 😢

If you live near here... you know how bad it is. The entire city is little india, signage is all in a different language - fine sure, until yous ee the crime statisics and thecheap house prices + high insurance costs. It's turning into a mini Detroit.

The population comment by the Pakistani isn't 100% accurate. Sure immigration plays a big role, but undeniably the South Asians still care about having kids and forming a strong family. In my school, most students just want to enjoy life, have kids in the far future, and they don't really care about family ties like these cultures do. They'll be tight with their parents but barely know their cousins or uncles. They'll be in their late 30s finally looking to get married and have kids, which is just not realistic biologically. 45 is the average age for menopause, and you see symptoms of menopause happen before then. Not rare to see a woman get perimenopausal symptoms at age 40. Meanwhile these Asians get married "young" (normal age back in the day), and they plan their future around their family's growth. Can't really blame it on immigration when other nations like Japan and Korea don't see a huge immigrant population from South Asia and still show insanely low birth rates for the locals, because they follow the secular societal standard of having one kid so you can enjoy life. South Asians could be living in a shack and still have 5 kids. We make fun of that in the west, and now our population is on a nosedive.
