I have trouble watching these videos. I am a born Quebecer and a few weeks ago these islams decided to do one of those big prayer meeting right in front of the church Celine Dion was married at. The minister was probably chosen specifically because she was inept and wouldn't know what was going on in her department; that reduces the likelihood that anyone would be turned away a while longer. As Lorrie said - just like my Political Science professor pointed out almost 50 years ago - immigrants largely vote for whoever was in power when they arrived in the country. A very large percentage of the people that they bring into the country under a Liberal government are likely to vote Liberal. That's a (practically) guaranteed stream of new Liberal voters to replace the old Liberal voters who have become disillusioned by the Liberal Party's actions. It has to stop. We need to vet EVERYONE who comes in and we shouldn't be giving them gold-plated health care until we've granted them refugee status or permanent residency and they should be told that up front so no one is shocked or feels cheated. If they know that and still come, they'll know what they're facing. If they choose not to come, they've made an informed decision.

I hate my Liberal Government who did this to us. They have destroyed our country. There is no coming back from this. You think this is bad, look to the rural towns and who owns all the businesses.......

I have indo-guyanese parents aka my ancestors were brought to Guyana by the English to work the cane feilds basically to replace the slaves anyways my parents moved from Guyana to the usa. They work with the system legit jobs which is the right way unlike these Somalians scamming. I say if you don't wanna work and earn your share the right way this USA it not for you. As a brown person who migrated to Ireland, i can tell you i haven't met, spoken to or hung out with any of the people from my birth country in years. Why? Because, my Irish school mates, my Irish neighbours & Irish colleagues have never made me feel insecure about my color or origins. However in the last five years, some communities like the pakistanis, brazilians & nigerians started creating their ghettos despite the fact that the Irish did not discriminate. They "rule" their ghettos as if they're sovereign territories and do not interact with the Irish, who loves a good banter & socializing. Now the Irish are feeling insecure & one can feel, hear & see the change in attitudes towards immigrants. I fear that in the future i may face the consequences of some other people's decision to stand out instead of mixing. It is quite sad actually!

I have no words to describe the immigration lawyer guy. I'll let others do that. Canada owes these people nothing. They are here on a temporary basis and now must leave. I suspect some will try to stay but most will go. Their options are miserable and likely far worse then in their home countries.
