As an American, I am ignorant about Canada and its immigration policy, and so wonder how much stated in this video are lies due to racism, and how much is true? For example, the Indians who come to the US are vetted, are educated, and work hard. Since the 90s, most of the Indians who come to the US are not Punjabi Sikhs, nor are they Muslim. Punjabis came earlier, but since the tech boom, most who come are Hindus usually from Southern India. About 20% are also Christian. These Hindu and Christian Indians from Southern India are model minorities. Think of these kids who do well in the Spelling Bee. No crime, no trash, just educated hard working folks. Especially here where I am in San Jose, CA. So are these Canadians lying, or are the type of Indians who go to Canada worse? Those with fake diploomas or Sikhs claiming refugee status due to their religion and not being safe in Hindu India? Something is amiss bc how can these Indian immigrants be so different? If Canada is not vettung their immigrants why not? I also know that a coworker of mine who is from Southern India, his niece recently secured a visa to Canada and she is a Radiation Oncologist, an occupation Canada is in need of. So assumed lie the US, Canada is letting in needed skilled workers.

My only problem with immigrants is that when you are in another country, you should conform to that country not try to make it a replica of your former country. Many don't even want to learn the language. Anyway from the video, the number of unemployed Canadians are not because of the Indians, they just don't want to work hard to earn a living, they want handouts. It is also very hard when every single store; walmart; Fast food is all India. Other races will not be hired, so all we see are India taking over every taxi and every single job. They can tolerate having all their family live in one house, as they buy multiple homes. These homes are left empty, until enough house are bought to take over a lane or an entire neighbourhood. this video was very unresolved message buddy. i am sorry if my words sound stupid or weird, my apologies. as an indian who live in india, yes the scarcity related to jobs and financial scrutiny is real but i wouldn't dare leave my country. there are ways to live happily here i am sure for some it might not be as such and they chose to live abroad that's their decision i have nothing to say there. but you have to also understand India houses 1.47 billion population. 1 out of 300 people are able to get in canada but since the size pool is bigger that tries for it the number sky rocket as well. i have no remarks against india not against the canadian who have lived there for generations. in my eyes they both are right and it's government that should do something about it. i can totally understand the perspective of white canadians if all they see is a chruch that was turned into a hindu temple.

First of all, Tyler is a hardworking journalist and I respect that, however a lot of this video was wildly ignorant, from almost everyone involved, including from him. This is cheap views unfortunately. It paints a very bad perspective for all the genuinely hardworking citizens and residents of Indian origins, why not show that side of them too? There’s obviously actual students who come to study and provide for the community while also maintaining their own culture? What’s wrong with that? Besides, what is a Canadian culture if not a mix of immigrants from all around the world? Are white people also not just immigrants to this country or did they magically spawn in this place? They’ve committed ATROCITIES (not just in Canada), yet have the audacity to act like they’re the cleanest ones in the land. While I do agree some Indians do not improve the reputation, most are really kind, helpful and honest people. Perhaps treat everyone like humans for a change instead of using the bad ones as a benchmark. PS, cutting to the ugly streets when someone mentions Punjab is probably the cheapest attention grab, obviously there’s bad streets, ugly roads, gross people everywhere but so are beautiful ones, lovely countryside views, beautiful mountains and most of all, very hardworking and respectful people as well. Your view of Punjab is just NOT the same as the one of the people in the video who view their motherland as a beautiful place. You can portray every place in the world in that light with the wrong perspective, be it New York, Paris, Barcelona, Cairo, Sydney, Rio, London, etc, but it must be nice to get a few more looks at the expense of demeaning others.

Let’s look at facts: how many Muslims live in Canada compared to the Indian population? Muslims are not a country and not a single culture. There are European Muslims, North African Muslims, Asian Muslims, Arab Muslims, and Black Muslims. Does it harm anyone if Muslims practice their religion peacefully? This type of framing only fuels unnecessary hate and division
