As an immigrant like myself, I came to study in Canada. I came to learn Canadian culture which has always been polite, humble, and friendly. Nowadays I am seeing things have changed compare with 22 years ago when I came here. I learned true Canadian cultures from my host family and my Canadian friends. Honestly, there are some immigrants who are coming to Canada who are not trying to learn and even tried to integrate into the culture. You don't come to someone's home and destroy it. You want to make yourself welcomed in Canada. Canada is an amazing country please don't destroy it. I worked hard to stay in Canada and I love this country. I also pay my taxes for some people to get their free stuffs when they entered into Canada, what is going on? Love Canada and let's us united again. ❤❤❤❤❤

As an Indian I am shocked too! Unchecked immigration? How is the mass immigration helping Canada? These illegal colleges created just for immigration, these are open secrets, why these are not tackled? Being in the tech industry I thought I could get PR relatively easily. But everyday I am seeing stories about people moving to western countries, beating the system, not paying taxes - how does that even work?

Why are they even getting same rate on social assistance as every Canadian citizen when they aren't even Canadian. Nor have they even worked for it again the tax payers are on the hook for them

On housing, seems that the government is attempting to inflate housing prices, as this strategy significantly boosts the economy by presenting favorable GDP figures on paper.

I'm glad Tyler is more or less neutral in his findings. It's true, many Indian's have come to Canada and I'm sure many do wish for a better life. Canadians understand this, but the methods the government of Canada is doing to push the numbers too high and too quickly is what's surprising to many. It's the accountability of the government that should be under scrutiny. If immigration was moderate and consistent, the social issues would not be as rampant, but social media loves stir the pot. This is also happening while Canada's housing infrastructure is crumbling, healthcare is deteriorating and general cost of living in Canada has skyrocketed and priced many Canadians out of simple living and enjoyment. I believe there is at least half a million people from India in Canada maybe 90% of those have already overstayed their welcome in Canada and they're getting away with it they go to work for Indian trucking companies that paid them as contractors so the company pays them as contractors and it's up to that employee whether or not they file their taxes while they can't even they don't even have a social insurance number

Man just give it a break with your doomposting .All of them are just trying to earn a decent living and are atleast being productive members of society. I am an Indian, I am working in india and have no plans to settle or even work abroad. I wouldve loved to visit canada but now I'm afraid I'll be treated poorly since I'll be judged by my looks, I will be a tourist of course but yeah.
