Who really wants to work? Especially on Mondays and Fridays! Honestly, I'd prefer to collect unemployment, live in my mom's basement, smoke weed, play video games, and complain about all the hardworking Indian folks. It just seems easier than putting in the hustle. I don't understand what the problem is. If someone wants to work, we should let them. Clearly, we have different priorities. We only get one life—just enjoy it and keep complaining about all the Indian people actually doing the work. We need someone to hate and complain about so we can hide our laziness. Honestly, if they leave, we’ll have to go to work, and I don’t think that's going to be easy. So, I'll say thanks to the foreigners who are actually working and paying taxes so we can collect our welfare checks.

I can't tell if half of these comments are watching the same video as me. I understand there are issues with Canada's current immigration policies and certainly, purely by numbers, there are a lot of immigrants moving to Canada, but I'm genuinely convinced the people in the comments watched the first half of the video and then turned it off. So many weird comments, ranging from "they're bad drivers!" to "I moved away from Brampton because of this problem" (what problem?? Indian people??). In the second half of the video, all three of the religious buildings they entered had extremely kind-hearted people, with free food for ANYONE to enjoy. Again I understand things aren't perfect, but it would seem a lot of people are using "immigration policies are allowing immigrants in too fast" to justify their hatred of Indian people.

I was born and raised here. I've given birth to 6 children whom all have issues finding employment. Because all the jobs are taken every convenience store every timorhorns, every Taco Bell, every Burger King. Is taken their jobs and giving them to newcomers. If some guy handed you an invitation to a party at his house, and there, after an hour, someone approaches saying , 'I hate to tell you, but you WERE'NT actually invited and your invitation is fake, and although the guy who invited you DOES HALF OWN the house, but it is HIS BROTHER hosting the party, and your friend, whenever his brother holds a party prints out fake invitations. And then after being told to just STAY PUT, after thinking that you would like to just leave, the guy who explained this comes over to tell you that since your friend IS half owner of the house, that you are ALLOWED TO STAY, but preferably if you could just walk a long narrow hallway in sit in the large roomy storage closet. I’m South African Indian from Durban, and I spent three months in Vancouver for work. Honestly, I wouldn’t visit Canada again. The cold was unbearable for me, and I found the country dull and boring. Coming from Durban, where there’s warmth, energy, culture, and life everywhere, Canada just didn’t feel like my kind of place. Some people may enjoy the quiet and structure, but it’s not for everyone—and it definitely wasn’t for me. Three months was more than enough to know it’s not my vibe.

As a white Canadian Citizen I really enjoyed what the Indian gentleman in the car had to say about first gen. And new Canadians that done even want to try and then push the Canadian to their Culture.😂. He was so true in his words.😊

I went to college with a roommate from Delhi. I visited in his home country and family and actually really enjoyed it. Yes, there is less cleanliness culture. Yes, there is less personal space. He actually ended up moving to Toronto last year. However with all the negatives you see on YouTube, it's always good to note that Indians are always friendly and helpful people. I'd rather have them than most other immigrant cultures

As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I get you may not feel welcome by the white people like the ones in the beginning and so you dont mess with them, and its easy not to. But there needs to be openness with helping everyone benefit from multi-culturalism and not just some of us. There are issues with immigrants not wanting to go outside their bubble and for canadians not to want to either, It'll be hard to (with the current issues we're facing as a country) to actually blend together more.

You're all spot on! How is it even possible coming from US and declaring asylum in Canada? And then we have fake refugees, students overstaying visa and applying for refugee status and playing our system, rejected applicants enjoying our health care system etc. What a mess and insult to genuine applicants who lined up and went legally through the immigration system.

The population comment by the Pakistani isn't 100% accurate. Sure immigration plays a big role, but undeniably the South Asians still care about having kids and forming a strong family. In my school, most students just want to enjoy life, have kids in the far future, and they don't really care about family ties like these cultures do. They'll be tight with their parents but barely know their cousins or uncles. They'll be in their late 30s finally looking to get married and have kids, which is just not realistic biologically. 45 is the average age for menopause, and you see symptoms of menopause happen before then. Not rare to see a woman get perimenopausal symptoms at age 40. Meanwhile these Asians get married "young" (normal age back in the day), and they plan their future around their family's growth. Can't really blame it on immigration when other nations like Japan and Korea don't see a huge immigrant population from South Asia and still show insanely low birth rates for the locals, because they follow the secular societal standard of having one kid so you can enjoy life. South Asians could be living in a shack and still have 5 kids. We make fun of that in the west, and now our population is on a nosedive.

Please deport those involved. As a former landed immigrant turned Canadian citizen years ago, I urge the Canadian government to arrest and deport everyone involved in such behaviour. This country must remain peaceful and save for everyone. When we come to Canada we must intend to help build and maintain a stable society not tear the country apart and put others at risk. It’s time to get rid of all criminal elements within the borders of Canada. Canada shouldn’t be a gangster paradise. No one has the right to come to Canada and disturbed the peace and stability we all enjoyed. Please deport all the trouble makers, drug dealers and gangs. I think due to the prosperity and stability Canada has enjoyed for so long Canadians have developed a certain standard of living and expectations in regards to that. So no, we don't want to have to work 2-3 minimum wage paying jobs to get by, no we don't want to live 4 or more to a 400 sqft studio apartment, yes we want to be able to afford our own homes, yes we want to be able to achieve a stable middle class lifestyle. That doesn't work for the crony capitalists who's greed and lust for power always needs satiating. So we have the Liberal government bringing in more immigrants than we have infrastructure to accommodate in an effort to keep wages down so profits can always be up. Immigrants who are willing to accept a lower quality of life than what most Canadians expect/accustom to because it's still superior to where they came from. So the quality of life for all Canadians is exponentially reduced. We are to accept a lower quality of life and if we resist then we are branded with all kinds of derogatory names; racist, xenophobe, fascist, unacceptable fringe, far-right extremists, et al. What's undeniable is that before the Liberals took power in 2015 we had an immigration system in Canada that worked quite well and that since the Liberals took power our immigration system is a destructive mess. This isn't by accident or incompetence, it's intentional, by design. Unfortunately Canada has a problem with so much of our population being ideologically blind, willingly ignorant, easily manipulated, cowardly staying in an abusive relation with our current oppressive government. Question is can the country be saved before too much damage is done?
