I grew up in Brampton. When I was going it was really multicultural, I lived in a Portuguese neighborhood. There were many different ethnic neighborhoods, it was a melting pot of cultures. I had friends of all races and I got to learn about their cultures. It would have been the perfect place to raise kids.It's not multicultural anymore it's just Indians, it's filthy there, crime has skyrocketed and housing prices is insane. You also can't rent apartments as all the landlords will only take Indian tenants under the guise of "vegetarians only". It's a shame, it used to be a great place to live.

The east Indian problem has gotten extremely bad where I am in Canada they keep buying businesses and then firing all the white people but if you call it out, you're racist like, I'm getting turned down when I hand out resumes, because I'm white and I was born in Canada its bad they're taking all the student jobs and then buying the businesses where students are working and then firing the students i'm no longer in school, so it's even harder to find a job. It's gotten to the point where if you want a job you need to work for yourself. They're even taking jobs in the trades so now people are having to work for themselves under-the-table and launder their money the average median income in Canada is anywhere from $45000 to $50000 a year the average house costs $673,335 the average household only makes $80000 a year i used to dream about having my own home and starting a family now I just hope I can find an apartment for less than $2000 a month that isn't owned by a slum Lord living in Toronto that's bought the property without ever even being to Smiths Falls a day in their life.

I live in canada and in my apartment building a bunch of Indians live there and what they do is literally throw their own trash out of the balcony ruining the grass, everywhere you look there will be trash, it gotten so bad the owner of the building put a note on all floors saying if you litter or don’t throw out your trash your being recorded and will get fined.

This is a horrible situation on both ends and the fact that its all 100% administration failure is sad. Its not fair to anyone not even the immigrants. They keep bringing in more people then the economy can afford to live here I frankly find it ridiculous. I want to know whats driving these policies to continue. My parents came to canada 25 years ago, they payed thousands of dollars to get status here. Now people are getting in as cheap labour that can't even afford to live here so they dogpile 10-15 people in the same 2-3 bedroom apartments or houses and the infrastructure is still being built on the logic of single families when in the reality thr opposite is happening we have sudden crowding because rent is unaffordable due to the massive influx of people, including canadian born nationals that are forced to live in these environments if they don't have support- Its crazy why not close your borders stabilize rebuild infrastructure then slowly work on immigration policies again when the housing market and job market are stable again. Theres absolutely no reason to cite labour shortages when theres an unemployment rate and homeless people everywhere- close the borders- get homes built, throw heavy incentives to join and get educated on any productive field that has a shortage upto and including providing shelter to canadian citizens that decide to pursue these fields and are homeless. Have a fast track rotating incentive down to the year along with guaranteed on job training for all occupations. Such a simple solution so stupid we can't execute it. My apartment complex was taken over by Immigrants and they hated me for making bacon and eggs in the morning they conspired against me and had me evicted I lived in a car for two weeks before I found an apartment and now my rent is higher and I can barely afford it... living in canada is going to get worse for canadian and the immigrants our taking our country they only hire their own when they get in a position of power in their line of work... and the cost of living is getting higher because the landlords know to increase rent when the international students come here

Not just brown town in Brampton it’s all over. Worst thing man is they are training ppl in Punjab at the local stores. Train ppl in English or French it’s Canada. I find it ignorant to train ppl in a language that Canadians don’t use. I go into Tim Hortons in a small town and they barely know English. Ask for cream get sugar everytime man. the culture sometimes is rude and short with ppl. Too many apartments and rentals are putting student immigrants first instead of Canada students. Having lived in an apartment complex that was primarily Indian I learned that we had different standards for trash mgmt. Besides that it was fine. Most had not really assimilated and kept to themselves. The smell of the food was a bit much at times, it would make its way in to my apartment and my clothes would smell like their food the next day. Nice people but inconvenient neighbors

If you leave Toronto for a contract job outside of the city and move somewhere else for a little while, you will be homeless when you come back. To we are pretty much screwed in every moving around to try and gain experience to get ahead. And there are profession where you have to move outside of the GTA to get experience. Canadian students can barely get a entry level job with a two year diploma, yet they allow International students to study things like a 2 year diploma in Business, which no one can ever get a job with, and on top of that, they told them they can apply to become permanent resident . How does that even make any sense? Does any politician in this country have two working brain cells? I'm so sick of this country, I desperately want to leave ...I'm a immigrant and my parents came here in the glory days of the 70s, where people from other English speaking countries were given priority and were expected to fully integrate into Canadian society
