This is a multifaceted problem for us. Firstly we keep emigrating people in, to deal with a declining population, instead of addressing the issues directly resulting in declining population, like the housing problem, cost of living, under paying jobs, and astronomical Post secondary prices to get basic diplomas I know for a fact that 90's babies will be the last generation to have more then one child. Another issue is the recruitment centers in India, funded by Canadian corporations looking for cheap labor, promising the world to struggling Indians only to back out of every promise they made, and put the burden on the government and Canadians. This plus a lack of population control in India, is set that to have Indians to be over 25% of the global population in the next 50 years.

French joined hands with Americans to fight against English C. Lived together for 300 years D. All of the above 5. Got a basic question about suffrage movement 6. What are prairie provinces? Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba (SAM) 7. I got a question about provinces from west to east on Canada map. Please look and memorize the provinces locations. 8. Got a question about Peace Arch in Blaine 9. Question about Peace Tower like what was built after first world War. 10. Question about Aboriginals. Ans: First Nations, Metis and Inuits 11. Branches of Parliament Ans: Sovereign, House of commons and Senate 12. Courts do: Ans: Settle disputes These all what I remember. I am not sure which ones I got wrong. Might be in the first 5 I posted here. Test is not difficult but it is better to go through this video multiple times and do some other mock tests as well, in my opinion. I see this is more of a Canadian government immigrations policies are responsible for the situation Brampton is in. I lived there for 10 yrs but moved on for past 5 yrs now. Unchecked rampant liberal immigration has led to this. We should not single out one particular community though, it will not help the current situation anyway.

I came here 25 years ago from India. While growing up, I would go to the terrace of my home and turn the antenna to get Cbc at night. I watched Air Farce One, the green show, NFB and Cbc and was always fascinated with Canada. I knew then when I was 20 that I will make Canada home. I wrote my IELTS ENGLISH test, studied here with good grades. And I did. I have an amazing career and young kids. And I have loved everyday of it. I have watched rerun of trailer park boys about 10 or so times already, watched Corner gas, watch hockey, I have embraced the weather, the people and the values this nation stands for. I have travelled coast to coast and to the great north. Heck I have been to more places in Canada with my job than other Canadians who are born and raised here. Now all I see there these ignorant, entitled effs thinking they can come and change the way of life. Like how Don Cherry said, they want the milk and honey but won't respect the values. I am effing done with this immigration and the government. Steven Harper was the prime minister when I got my citizenship and it was the proudest moment of my life. I really hope Canadians wake up. I know exactly why the racism has gone up and I don't blame the Canadians at all. These clowns bought it on to themselves. I just had enough and wish things would back to how it was 20 or so years ago.

Just wanna say, cause I don't think its said enough, I commend the journalistic integrity that you started out with and maintain throughout your work. Thank you for your commitment to hearing many sides of the story. My brother is a journalist in NYC and he also amplifies voices that are so often drowned out by louder, flashier ones. As a Canadian, who was born in South Africa, but have grown up in BC since elementary school, I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity this country has given my family. We all work hard to build on the values shared in this nation. I love learning about aspects of Canada that I am unfamiliar with, but ultimately help shape its identity. 🙏

The one thing I can’t understand is how an international student from India can work without a social insurance number in Canada.They don’t have social insurance numbers in India.So places like Tim Hortons,Circle K and almost every fast food restaurant lets them work there without having Canadian taxes taking off their checks.Plus what happen to that box on most applications where it says are you legally allowed to work in Canada.

You don’t need endless studies and quantifiable evidence to apply a bit of common sense I don’t need a study to tell me to close the window or put on a sweater if it’s cold in my house The point is there shouldn’t be one extra dollar that’s spent on anything that is outside of Canadian interests

Canada government has to frequently check all businesses owned by people who came to Canada and are Canadians by naturalization. Because, when they hire employees they hire their people no other people and if they hire outside their community they hire one or may be two. That is it. So businesses in canada have to be checked if the employees are from different country of orgin.

As a Pakistani Canadian I respect Canadians , love Canadian culture. Canada is our chosen homeland and we truly love this great country. I raise two daughters here and one is a successful professional civil engineer and second is a chartered accountant.

Dude could have just walked either way over the border and not spent a dime doing it. The entire canadian border is open and not monitored. In some areas one side of the road is canada and the other side in America.

One other point not mentioned that will put strain on health care and all resources is Bill C- 3 allowing children born or adopted abroad to Canadian parents to acquire citizenship .

I am being singled out in my family circle whenever the talk of being assimilated into the CANADIAN community, everyone understands the talking points of the rights of equality, no one trying to understand that rights come with larger responsibilities of fairness/sharing/respecting fellow citizens are the core values of Canadian society.

These immigrants were scheduled to leave anyway. They were well aware of it. So, it is not based on new immigration rules. The government tried to force too many people into the country, causing a spike in housing prices and many other problems. This then affected every Canadian. A lot are becoming even poorer. It is one of the reasons they had more tent cities and 2 million people going to food banks along with 2/3 of Canadians with only 500.00 a month after all monthly bills were paid. That's 2/3 of Canadians. The Convoy had released these figures over a year ago at CPAC. Proving that Canada is in a huge mess economically because of these Liberal policies. @minimaxmiaandme.4971 - I don't hide behind a fake name. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the convoy or did you forget? The Liberals violated Canadians' Constitutional Rights to Protest. Which proves they are more credible than the Liberals. Now be man enough to show your real identity.

This is perfect step from USA. When you say "Canadian", you need to understand and admit that the composition of "Canadian population" has changed substantially over the past few years. I wish Canada also takes enough security steps before getting influx. It is not the country where from you come, it is who is coming. And, if one has clean records, what should one worry?

My son is Canadian born and a college graduate. He was a smart student and very hard working person but until now he couldn't find a job even at Tim Horton. I noticed that a lot of people who are working now are from India. They're the one who are getting experienced and etc.This is not fair to Canadians😢.

I am supportive of immigration, but I believe there should be a cap of no more than 1-2.5% annually. A significant number of migrants moving to Canada from the same region or country could cause issues, as this can lead to the formation of "mini-bubble" societies within Canada. These groups may sometimes become the dominant demographic and undermine the existing communities that have contributed to building Canada for decades. We cannot expect new immigrants to seamlessly merge into Canadian society. This is a major oversight by Canada’s Immigration Department. Digital applications from foreign nations may play a role in this phenomenon. There should also be regulations concerning how many new immigrants can be brought in by family members. For instance, one new citizen can legally bring both of their parents and their spouse, which is fair. However, there have been cases where this process is repeated multiple times within ten years, leading to a 1:15 ratio, where one person can bring in six to eight relatives. If there is a labor shortage in essential fields, Canada can offer long-term residency to those who continue to work in those sectors, such as caretakers. However, the pathway to citizenship could be lengthened or require a higher standard. For instance, the requirements could extend from X years of living in Canada to X+5 years, as well as passing a basic Canadian citizenship test, either written or verbal. While an increase of five years may seem unfair or lengthy, it is essential. A newborn child from a Canadian family requires 18 years to gain voting rights in elections, whereas new immigrants—especially those who come for study for four to six years—can potentially gain both citizenship and voting rights sooner if they meet the previous administration's standard. Children under the age of 18 can gain citizenship in as little as X-4 years, regardless of their full integration into Canadian society. In my opinion, it would be fairer to calculate the duration of "living in Canada" based on the number of years they have paid "income taxes" in Canada. The investment in home buying as a pathway to citizenship has contributed to the housing crisis, resulting in numerous empty homes in various regions. While it may offer short-term economic benefits that some politicians favor, it is detrimental to Canada as a whole. If buying a house is the only requirement for citizenship, wouldn't a large portion of the global population be eligible for U.S. citizenship just by investing in U.S. businesses or stocks? This perspective may seem illogical when looking at it from outside the box. Apologies for being a bit wordy; I had much more to say. Nonetheless, I also support temporary residency for up to 6-9 months for those who have been evacuated due to war, natural disasters, or similar circumstances. Special exceptions can be granted for families with members working in critical fields that merit such considerations (high-end industry).
