New immigrants are not like the old immigrants. I am native, roots go back hundreds of years before Canada became Canada. My whole family worked in the orchards with Indian families that came here a long time ago, they adapted and changed and loved being in Canada, and these families had respect and worked hard and got along with everyone peacefully. New immigrants, they are here working for half the price for large companies getting kick backs. Why be here if you are trying to change everything?! Adapt like everyone else before you did. And those people have lived here for a long time and even say the same thing! We are losing our grip here people!

As an Indian, I would say no host country allow other country people to use their culture in their country that's it ,filter quality immigrants rather than collecting them as some numbers

Here's my life in canada. denied work. Denied education. both grandmothers, and grandfathers and before that mothers and fathers, defended and fought in the great wars, not by choice proxy and came to canada post ww1 to get away from euro trouble, only for second great war, and most were against forced to join because of direct proxy or relatives being killed. Applied to walmart - denied work applied ot im hortons - denied work applied ot schoos, isntitutions , trade shops, and more, denied work.. When you income is below hte poverty line, and you spending large amounts of time seekngi for a job or working but denied life and work at the same time. It becomes fairly strange. Denied education. Was sekeing ot be a general practioner, but I was cosntnaly called racist by black peopel that jsut arrived rrehsly. then there was CBC and asian gang relatiosn nad hte abuseo f minoirity acts. Then there was the nativism of evil colonizer. Then feminims eivl white male. THiese were being disturbuted or taught at courses by force. I stated I am just here for data. Hello from Canada. There is no labour shortage that is entirely a lie. A vicious evil lie when so many people are unemployed. There is no divide at all. Canadians overwhelming support much tighter immigration and for people overstaying visa holders to leave when they expire. Getting a student visa obviously doed not mean you get to stay. The previous immjgration system was a disaster and we are suffering for the damage done and will be for a long time.

There’s simply too much money involved. Believe it or not, Western adversaries have found this as a way to weaken the West. Most people don’t see it, but that’s exactly what’s happening. A country is just a piece of land without its people and its culture. If you bring in Indians your cities and town will become Indian.. The problem with Canada, white millionaire and billionaires who only run the university and the colleges them in Canada bring lots of foreign student charge them $ 15,000 to 40,000 Canadian for one student so where is the billionaire them who running the college and the university in Canada let's find out what color they are. How dare you bring up healthcare, you know how messed up our system already is. As a nurse, and I’m not saying that people do not deserve to come to this country, that is absolutely not what I’m saying. I’m saying that our healthcare system is burdened, how can we take care of other people when we can’t afford to even take care of anybody here at this point. Do you know how many patients I have who have immigrated to Canada and their elite 60s and 70s, can’t speak a word of English and didn’t contribute anything to our economy yet their family members leave them in the hospital because they can’t walk and talk the way they used to, and refuse to take them home.

Most of the people I know came from 2008-2013 were skilled professionals were accessed on a point based system ,worked hard and now many own several properties and are contributing to the country. Not bogus international students, unskilled temp workers or fake refugees we saw under Trudeau era

We have people sleeping in tents outside during the winter -30c and even worse weather, we have a major housing crisis, we are short close to half a million homes. Young Canadians are not getting hired because companies are hiring foreigners who are cheap labour, young people are not able to afford to move out of their parents homes. We are now seeing young Canadians looking for jobs and opportunities outside of Canada 🇨🇦, the Liberal government has destroyed this country.

In the 80s when I was in university, sociology professors claimed that the immigration system was racist, because certain people weren't welcome. (Yah, the people who wouldn't fit in because their values and customs were so different) They said Canada only accepts people who benefit the country! Imagine that! How aweful. 😅 In the next breath they said they welcome people who will do low paying unskilled labour jobs Canadians don't want to do.

Unfortunately they are not assimilating to Canadian traditions. I am now unable to feel sorry for the people who are being deported. They CANNOT become true CANADIANS if they don't follow Canadian ways. You cannot get the benefits of Canada and demand your culture to be adhered to by Canadians. 🤬👿🤬👿🤬

I am shocked at the fact there are more dislikes than likes when the CBC provides facts and so many people say they are lies, and others agree! The negative sentiments about refugees and immigrants are getting louder and people are happy to call fellow human beings “them”. They insinuate this is a huge burden, when the fact is we benefit from migration. It seems people think Canada will be over run by people from a foreign land, take all the resources and eliminate people born here, but that’s only happened once, when the British and the French arrived 400 years ago.
