Lol, one months of stay (dude,it is one month), because his brother is staying here , but he would have sold everything in his homeland to come and settle in Canada, and he will start with a visit visa for one months, lol. It's not about race or culture. It's just too much is too much. Too much for our health care system. Too much for our economy to handle. Too many jobs are now scarce. Too much is bad for the people who have paid their taxes here forever, just so one particular immigrant group can use up resources that long time generations have built. I'm not saying any particular culture, but there are too many of them. This particular culture should also be reduced because they are exploiting every mistake the government makes (from their good hearts) or loopholes to stay. Not just stay but trying to transform a country into their own. That is wrong. Most immigrants from past generations didn't come here to conquer the country. They came here to be part of a great country. Contribute to it. Make it better, not make it worse. And now here we are. How are we going to fix this? Put a very long pause on immigeation. Get rid of international students from this particular country. They have no right to stay. Stop giving licenses to unqualified people that can't read, write, speak or even understand English. It's becoming a safety issue everywhere. Again, it's not about race. It's the "too many" factor that the country can not sustain.

Major reason for so much immigration of Indians is because here in india to get a well paying job and a well settled life you need to be educated and skilled. Whereas in countrys such as canada it is more easy to have a good living with less efforts and less education. Therefore they prefer moving out of country than working hard in there own country. And in the case of Brampton they saw an opportunity and demand for businesses and workforce so they grabbed there opportunity. Because at that time there was not much going on in Brampton when indians started immigrating . So you can say indians are the reason Brampton has grown gradually. But i do think now it is too crowded and people haven't stopped coming. Now there are no requirements as such. So that is why more useless indians are moving in canada nowadays.

I respect their right to keep their religion, however not very comfortable with them erecting statues in our country. Its plain disrespectful.

I'm not a fan of Brampton and its true we have too many Indians in Canada who don't try to assimilate and create problems but not all of them are bad and its not good to judge an entire country based on a few individuals.

Immigrants aren't the problem. The problem is when they don't integrate or adopt local customs, when they form ghettos. That's not immigration, it's invasion. If you choose to live in another nation, out of respect and gratitude to the nation that welcomed you, you must integrate, be part of, assimilate—without losing your roots, of course, but adapting. I am from a country of immigrants (Argentina). My ancestors were Spanish (Galician/Catalan), Italian, German-Jewish, and Polish, and they all assimilated, adopting Spanish-language and Argentine customs without losing their roots.

Capitalist abuse of educational system as had been happening in uk for years.. its a viscuous cycle fuelled by government under funding. buy your way into a country with a fake course . Meanwhile native youth can't afford to pay for a degree or end up in debt. Then the country complains there are no graduates to fill jobs so they say they have to IMPORT THE LABOUR. U can maintain your culture whilst within your friends and family in privacy, BUT just don’t push your agenda onto Canadians! One can assimilate and still keep their culture within their group. This is the full intention of a melting pot, not immigrate and take over the country with your culture!

I have worked my entire life and paid taxes and live well under the poverty line with young children and come from multy cultural family but I can't get assistance and most immigrants can. We are so lost as a country. We need to bring back unabashed pride for our country again
