I'm a filipino PR. I used to work at Subway. My white canadian manager was nice and hiring whoever is qualified, even young students. Sadly, he was transferred and got replaced by a indian manager. Now he only hires indian. My fellow co-workers who were indians as well are mad at him. Not all indians are bad, but others are really abusing the system. I left that place. Best decision.

As an Indian I am completely ashamed of the way Indians are representing our country outside and honestly I understand the point of view from the Canadians ,when u migrate to another country you are supposed to adjust to their culture and their principles but unfortunately these people have turned it into a mini india there which simantaneously affects a lot of Indians who live outside as well because they have to deal with stereotypical and racial comments.I am completely against the way they celebrate our festivals outside its a nuisance to both the countries.

This is an interesting issue. I have lived in both Brampton and Surrey, and there is some real issues with immigration. But the homeless you showed made me think about the other side of the coin, these Indian immigrants would probably do a better job feeding our own homeless if they were aware they were welcome. Things like garbage and stuff, indians have less civil duty because their own cultural issues. But they have a sense of duty of family and community. So we need to hold our goverment responsible for not handling emmigration properly, but also if have compassion and bring these people into our communities as well, then you will feel a new sense of duty from them. Its a tough issue on both sides that our goverments are forcing us the people to deal with

Canada 🇨🇦 has been trying to attract more people from Europe and that has failed for years now because of our winters. Well Carney is a banker and I would expect a banker to have more money than just about anyone. The newcomers these days are the privileged ones. All of us need to speak up, especially those of us immigrants who retain our original accents &/ non-white because our white fellow Canadians are accused of being racist whenever they do (though many could learn to be more eloquent. ie. go back to your country does NOT help)! I see it as my Canadian duty to remind "misbehaving" newcomers the reason they left their country in the first place. ie. You chose Canada for a better life, so why try to change it into the one you left? ie. Help me understand your logic? Why not leave your hate & war at the border; just like normal folks won't bring stinky garbage into their new homes. Life is challenging enough when you uprooted to a new country (especially our unforgiving cold Winter). So, just focus on the positive things in your new country & leave all your miseries behind... ie. Learn to adapt & enjoy your new country. Canada is a great country because of the love & effort of those before you, so now you are the beneficiary. Join the legacy by enhancing this beautiful country & its culture, so you can pass on this century old legacy for later newcomers to enjoy, like you do now.
