How about we remove one of those "0" on those numbers relating to imigration!!! Middle class tax cut for those making, $57,000 a year or less, middle class really, that's barely above the poverty line in most parts of Canada for a family! Good balanced journalism. It showed the divide not just between those from india and others in Canada but the acceptance and community. There are those that are taking advantage while there are many that are productive and positive members of the community. The one common agreed upon idea is that canadian immigration needs to be tightened up so the posative people can get in and the people who would take advantage of or be criminals are kept outno matter what country they come from.

It's too bad that Trudeau's Government did so little about fentanyl, also about our poorly-controlled border and destructive immigration non-policies for so long. Hence, driving Trump's scorched-earth policy (The Tariffs). That said, it blows me away that Trump was so vociferous about the Lawfare that was lined up against him in 2023-24, but he doesn't see that excess use of the power of the State is wrong and immoral in this Canadian and Mexican case. Trump only knows the right of might. Threats, coercion, bullying. He doesn't otherwise distinguish between right and wrong; only about what is good for him and his ego. The Tariffs will drive very bad business outcomes in the US. Including, inflation, and lost jobs. The Stock Markets are already tanking. At this particular stage, his ego will not allow him to back off, that's my prediction. Much pain for all Americans (and obviously for Canadians) will first have to ensue. Canada must receive its spanking, and Donald will have to save face. Ultimately, he'll invent some dishonest pretense to put the genie in the bottle, while the economic damage to all sides will be severe. But ... Why would he care?

We wouldnt have the 380 million used to deport if the gov..ment hadn’t let them in, in the first f…in place!!! The 380 million should had been used for other things such as housing, lower taxes, bring down the deficit anything other then wasted money on this farce!!!

I feel that the problem is the Trudeau government and the NDP allowed to many immigrants into Canada without doing any background research on their status and now we have a huge influx of criminals from many countries. These people have no interest whatsoever in assimilating into our society, they are only interested in taking advantage of our country and generosity.

Yet Isreal is exempt.
