To answer your question at the end (what is the difference between the temples and the food bank) the canadians left community and god behind for progressivism and a godless life idolizing the individual. Churches do the same thing the temples do, they run food banks and try to foster community. The difference is when a church asks you follow gods rules, people scream opression, but when foreign religions deman you cover your head, canadians think "ooh im so cultured"...
Argues that Canadian secularism and individualism represent moral decline compared to religious community values, while criticizing perceived double standards toward foreign religions.

Immigrants enrich the cultural fabric of Canada and add to the wealth of the whole country via their tax contributions. Anyone not aware of these positive effects needs to lean into the subject and seriously inform themselves. Without immigration Canada's pension system would fail all people over 65.
Argues for immigration's positive moral and economic contributions to Canada, appealing to both ethical principles and factual economic benefits.

Europeans conquered America (US & Canada) after killing off the original inhabitants, and now they call it their home. What an irony.

Let me guess... wat, reses canadian people are upset with this? If you are Indian, remind them they don't own the land, they stole it! And they have the nerve to get upset when people from other countries want to move to their stolen land.
Appeals to historical injustice (land theft) as moral justification for immigration, framed as ethical counter-argument.

Keep cryin boomers, the land of america isnt your birthright how insanely delusional you have to be to think that. Indians have better relations with the real americans than european colonizers who ironically refer to the natives as indians too
Argues that European colonizers have no moral claim to exclusive land rights and that Indian immigrants have legitimate claims comparable to or better than settlers.

People have migrated from their homelands to other countries in different centuries—some in the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. I don’t understand why people claim that “we have lost our identity.” The shift from being a majority to a minority is largely about timing—some people’s ancestors arrived earlier than others, usually in search of better opportunities they couldn’t find at home. Most people don’t want to leave their motherland, but they move out of necessity, not preference. Throughout history, Western and Middle Eastern powers destroyed economies, accumulated global wealth for themselves, and caused immense suffering through violence, forced conversions, and plundering. This exploitation is a major reason why some countries today struggle to reach the living standards seen in the West. The long-term effects of colonialism, conflict, and migration continue to shape societies and opportunities for many people.
Appeals to historical justice and ethical principles, contextualizing migration as a response to systemic exploitation and colonialism rather than a threat.

Immigrants are a good thing and Sikhs are especially kind people, but there needs to be checks and balances which Canada has failed miserably at.

@0:14 Road safety laws are made to protect lives, not to discriminate against beliefs., Governments can consider specially designed helmets that accommodate turbans, balancing safety with religious practice. Considering that the indigenous Canadians aren't white, and Canadians of European ancestry decided to move from Europe to Canada, why are white Canadians complaining about other immigrants? If you prefer to be among white people, wouldn't you move to Europe?

Your enemy isn't the brown people. It's the 1% that brought in millions to suppress wages. A lot of these Indians are victims. They have come here with massive debt. They'll be in debt for the rest of their lives. A certain class of people wanted tax revenue from all these immigrants, wanted rents to keep going up and wanted home prices to climb during a global pandemic. The majority of the Indians are not criminals. But yea, racists gonna racist
Appeals to fairness and justice by redirecting blame from immigrants to wealthy elites, defending immigrants as victims while condemning racism.
