Yes we need more immigrants due to our low birth rate but we should not be lowering our standards and import the world’s poor.

I don't hate the immigrants themselves, but the way our country handles immigration. I'll be the first to admit it's getting harder to keep those two things separate. What compounds that hate is since I've been looking at moving out of this country... it's disheartening that most countries (rightfully so) make you have to be able to both assimilate and afford to fend for yourself to get a immigrants visa. And I guess Canada isn't enough of a shithole to get refugee status... yet. Like many Canadians now, I'm living cheque to cheque to make ends meet. So not only do I hate it here, but am essentially trapped. Next time you want to get pissed off at an immigrant, save it for a Liberal. It's a good chance he/she will be one in the same anyways.

The government has turned Canadians against immigrants. People should look to see who is to blame and it's not the immigrants. When Canadians work all their lives and the government is taking from Canadians and giving it to people who haven't contributed a dime to the system.

This is a simple answer. The liberal government came to power and slowly put progressive people in powerful positions. Now these institutions are drowning in progressive people, if you try and talk against it you are destroyed.

Yeah, keep putting more taxes on everything. Keep taxing income and property that has already been taxed. Then act surprised when the fertility rate drops that low! So then you bring in migrants who will reproduce like crazy. Then you need to collect even more taxes, robbing your hard-working population to provide for them, and you get even more surprised. But of course, you know exactly what you're doing. Those low-quality migrants are your future voters. That's why your asses in the government seats aren't going to be replaced anytime soon. Jeez dread, Canada needs to do something quick, I'm seeing tis shit all over and it going to be a real mess if they don't fix it fast. Change the laws and force these people to adhere to the culture and laws, take away some one their rights, start by taking away their rights to practice their culture in public, stop their protesting, they are immigrants and should behave like a lifelong guest, deport them without question if they fail to assimilate.

Lots of hating on J Trudeau here but Harper is the one that drastically expanded the temporary foreign worker programme. And he subsidized it so said workers only had to be paid 75% of minimum wage by the company hiring them while the gvmnt paid the rest. Companies literally pay less than min for tfws and the government pays the rest. That's why they are prioritized. Harper did this. Trudeau made it worse. Pollivere would not have stopped it. The current government will only expand it. Minor parties are being sidelined, bribed, or otherwise shit down across the political spectrum. NDP sold out long ago. Bloc don't care as long as the aliens pretend to speak French as much as they pretend to speak English. There is no democratic solution.

This is not about legal immigrants it is about uncontrolled illegal migration sponsored by our government. You cannot grow a population without expanding infrastructure at the same rate of more. This is not racist or anti immigration this is about proper planning and growth of a nation.
