You’re being very selective with information. It feels like you’re asking leading questions just to get the answers you already want. That’s not good journalism. Journalism should aim for objectivity, not push a specific ideology. And calling this an “INVASION”? That’s simply wrong. I lived in Montréal in an area with many Indian residents. They’re respectful, hard-working, have families, jobs, and contribute to society like anyone else. They don’t interfere with religion or ideology. Just tonight, during a snowstorm, an Indian neighbor came out of his home to help me clear snow off my car — purely out of kindness. That’s reality on the ground, and it deserves to be reported honestly.

Canada had a 20% tariff already imposed before trump for a very long time, we just matched it. Now hes upset, and throwing a fit bc we're not going to be sending subsides on top of the tariff. How is it ok for canada put tariffs on American stuff but not ok that America to put tariffs on Canadian stuff.

I'm usually reasonable enough to realize that while I may disagree with many policy decisions, there's usually a relatively coherent line of thought to back said actions up. The problem here is that there’s no clear logic behind using tariffs as a tool to curb fentanyl trafficking or immigration. I'm not going to speak on the issue of immigration at the Canadian border because there simply is none. Yes, there are illegals from Canada, but almost 100% of them are from overstaying visas rather than crossing the border unlawfully. So let's talk about fentanyl. \n\nMost fentanyl in the US originates from China, often in precursor form, and is then processed in Mexico before being smuggled into the states. But it's typically trafficked in small, high potency quantities, often hidden in legitimate shipments or through mail, and only on very rare occasions is it being brought in by individuals crossing the border. It has _never_ been documented to have shipped in as part of large scale commercial imports, so a 25% tariff on legal trade with Canada and Mexico doesn’t directly target the black market supply chain at all.\n\nIf we take Trump’s reasoning at face value, the argument seems to be that he wants to exert economic pressure on Mexico and Canada as a means of having them crack down harder on drug trafficking networks. But the issue is that fentanyl simply isn’t coming in through mass import channels, so all this looks like is a punitive measure without a clear mechanism to actually achieve its stated goal. And the implications? Drastically higher costs for consumers in the US, Canada, and Mexico, with absolutely nothing to show for it.

Trudeau is not reasonable, nor polite. We have our own issues up here. Hope he gets voted out sooner the better. We need your help up here.

Back than you told them Canada doesn't have the infrastructure to load it into vessels . Guess what? neither Germany had that , but they;ve built in 3 MONTHS !! When you went to India it looked like you were there to go clubbing or dancing instead of looking for contracts or investments, either Canadian to India or viceversa . I love Trudeau’s dad but Justin is short a few brain cells. You have run Canada into the ground. Time to trade with China and get us cheaper Chinese EVs, solar cells, drones, electronics, clothing…make our cost of living more affordable and sell our agri and resources to China.
