Canada embraced multiculturalism a long time ago- there isn't any central "Canadian values". Not assimilating is only offensive in America.

How have Canadians treated Chinese immigrants for the past century? There’s a reason why Richmond and Vancouver have large Chinese populations - because they feel safe in numbers. Whites have created the situation they’re now crying about by being inclusive and racist for decades.
