I think immigration would result in assimilation if you had small numbers of people from all countries. But many countries around the world have millions of immigrants from only a few countries like India etc.

This person is naming and shaming India and hoping that her conservative voters will be happy. India is quite a huge country; the numbers are going to be high. it is not prudent for politicians to do this PR stunt that will have long term consequences.

And also you Canada deliberately accepted all type of students, allowed so called colleges to start just to accomodate these students and took huge money from them as visa , tuition fees and tsx and now you want them to be out bcos you got what you want. I am talking about students who are there legally. Why blaming Indians as a whole?
