After all, more than 50% of Canada is immigrants, if you don't want to consider French and English colonizers immigrants, too. The real problem is when Indian immigrants, and truly any immigrants, DO NOT WANT TO ASSIMILATE and/or do not any effort in doing it.

The opinion that they're importing labor is wrong. We're all dollar signs for the government. People are like cattle to a government.

I came here from Nigeria as a professional. I must say the Canada govt has to develop some spines. I am grateful for the opportunity to be in Canada. I do not take it for granted. But truth be told, if you ve got a country like Canada, you cannot allow everyone in the world in. You can’t allow a single country change your demography except you are STUPID. Even heaven has boundaries. You can’t allow everyone. It is not wisdom to allow everyone. Most western countries have left God, they have the civilization that came from Christianity but they have left Christ and are using their wisdom. They definitely will mess up things. Common wisdom will be difficult.

The first thing that needs to happen is to take the multiculturalism rule out of the charter of rights. Go ahead, be multi cultural but within the 4 walls of your house. If you are unable to assimilate and learn the language and adopt the culture of the place you'd like to potentially call home then perhaps it isn't quite home then is it?

Across both Alberta and British Columbia, when in a large center, it is quite easy to believe you are in India not Canada. Thanks Eastern Canada for continuing to elect Governments who in a desperate attempt to hide their miserable economic performance have relied on immigration to falsely boost the numbers. Albertans want out.

Immigration has not changed in law, what has happened is that since the government has allowed its workers to work from home during COVID, and stay at home years after the standards have gone to shit, they make mistakes and are slower then ever. They need to get back to the officer under proper supervision.

as a Canadian our immigration system used to be the gold standard now its a warring to other nations what not to do.

For social cohesion , peace and stability, government of Canada should completely stop Indian migration. This is no longer racism. It is a pragmatism

Indian American here, who spent nearly every summer in Canada growing up (and writing from Canada right now). Not all Indians are created equal, just like any other country. Plus, many are poor and just like any other country, social class matters. Canada needs to be way more selective for some time. I love both cultures so it's important that Indian culture doesn't over-run Canadian culture.

As one gentleman was saying they don't pay taxes... that has no facts, that is only his opinion. Every immigrat i know works two jobs to succeed and pays his or her share of taxes. Canada is in the same boat as England and Australia where our government is run by an Anglo-Saxon form of government. It's just now a modern day system of slavery by which the rich stays rich if you can bring in cheap labour by disguising or manipulating the numbers in use of immigrants. I honestly don't understand why people can't do the simple math when we live in a world based on capitalism and it's countered by Marxism.
