As an American, who has heard our president, say it’s easy to win a trade war I don’t think he realizes there are no winners in a trade war.

Hopefully this is a big wake-up call to Canada that it’s time to stop relying so much on America for trade and start making deals with other countries.

We asked for Canada to control the border, they did not. The tariff came after this request was denied. Canadians should be concerned about dangerous people coming through their country to get to the US. I hope your government shows more concern for your welfare as our president does for ours!???

Trudeau is also a dictator. We would rather Canada pay tariffs than for US citizens to pay high taxes. It makes more sense. If the products are worth it, they will still sell.
