2 years, 3 months ago @vivar5318 Stopping immigration is something that the government can easily do, unlike building millions and millions of houses, so that should be the priority. 1 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 3 months ago @spectralscarfs What would you expect from a pervy drama teacher who touched his students inappropriately and paid them to be quiet of it. 2 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 3 months ago @jwhisky4128 Do you all miss the Canada when it's Harper government? I surely do! 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 3 months ago @TheInternationalist A tiny expensive country right beside the most free market and robust economy in the world. It'll never change. The foundations that make up Canada keep everything expensive and broken. I hope we get absorbed into the us one day. Nothing will ever change here. 1 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 3 months ago @azores15 I beg to differ - yes, you can blame the immigrants, as they're the root of the housing affordability crisis both in Canada and in the United States. We seem to have mass immigration simply for the sake of having it. If we really needed cheap labor, we could have guest worker programs, or allow in only people who intend to do menial labor. Instead, everyone gets in, including a lot of criminals who reduce the quality of life, as well as others who are just taking up space and making life a hell of a lot more expensive for the rest of us. 1 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 3 months ago @FnuMnuLnu These are all problems in the US too 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY

2 years, 3 months ago @Theycallme_violette Canadian I would say are the worst stereotypes I have encountered so far after being in Europe, USA, China, Middle East etc. once I tried to be Canadian resident and experienced a heart trenching straight behaviour from immigration, lawyers and officials. They don’t seem to possess a simple wisdom or foresight a progressive nation must have. They are stuck in a tunnel vision of being nicer or western or straightforward people without thinking out of the box incapable of accepting a little change or flexibility. Being a technical person I obviously got panicked to be a part of that system with hopeless outlook, so decided not to be part of it when millions were dreaming of Canada. Thanks God to guide me and escape from a torturous life of working mechanically for decades just to fulfill a foggy dream of owning a house and a car in a cold hell. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 3 months ago @donttread5414 The government is a giant tapeworm and everyone that works for it are parasites who produce nothing because its existence is based on theft. All it does is harm others, destroys the economy and prevents real wealth creation from happening through its regulation, meddling and taxation lowering everyone's standard of living and making everyone poorer and costs to go up - at the same time it defrauds the currency to further finance its destructive nature. Also - housing is expensive due to government regulation, anyone should be able to build their own house on their property but government makes this illegal. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY

2 years, 3 months ago @matissparadise5799 Instead of always pointing fingers at the government, shouldn't we be questioning the landlords and corporations who prioritize profit over people? Why do we constantly let them off the hook when it's clear they don't care about the well-being of thir own country? 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
