2 years, 3 months ago @Sandeep14736 I was told by a friend that Canada is a paradise for illiterates. Yet, knowing that I came here. I do feel at times that my friend was somewhat right in describing Canada. 1 lBDlcxyZ4fo

2 years, 3 months ago @RJ-ug2bb Immigrants are moving, and Canada will be land of refugees. Syrians, Palestinian, Afghani and Ukraine… 0 lBDlcxyZ4fo

2 years, 3 months ago @RampageRilla David Rosenberg, a prominent Canadian economist, questions the logic behind increasing immigration amidst a 40% drop in production rates. Many residents with strong ties abroad contribute minimally to the economy, often sending earnings overseas. This trend raises concerns about the effectiveness of immigration policies, suggesting a potential exploitation of Canada's economy. In other words, there's a need to recruit immigrants who can actively contribute to growing the Canadian economy and ensure policies align with national economic interests. 4 lBDlcxyZ4fo

2 years, 3 months ago @Lululemon2023 Fine, let them go. Basically Canada should offer three choices for immigrants:\n\n1) bring in enough money with you to enjoy a good life\n\n2)work hard after arriving to make enough money and enjoy a good life\n\n3) leave Canada if you don’t have money and don’t want to work hard for a good life.\n\nNo one should be entitled to a good life, especially when they just arrived. the last thing we need is to pay for people to immigrate and stay here. We should have the same standard for everyone, no matter where they are from. 6 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @J.C.S.77 A lot of immigrants who moved here long ago are not happy with the current state of the country. The left government is leaning toward totalitarianism, everything goes down, prices are over the roof, basically doubled since Covid. And now with mortgage rates at 8% who can afford it??? 0 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @faizrizahi7280 Money don't grow on trees. It took first Saddlers maybe five generations to built Canada by brut hard work. 1 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @nepalimana Not housing, job matching the skill is the issue. Immigration for many educated people is really scam. 0 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @sylvio1052 Have you seen the cost of living here?! 2 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @dangal9366 So are theae students covering what it cost to educate them. Or part of it is paid by tax payers? Cause I don't want to pay to educate people who will just go work in other countries. 0 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @desiputtar89 Canada has been getting worse over the last 10 years. 0 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @peterjm8699 My parents immigrated to Canada from racist apartheid South Africa in 1967. \n \nAs a second-generation immigrant, all I can say is that Canada is:\nThe best country there is...\nThe best country there was...\nThe best country there will ever be!!!!\n\nWhere's your bloody loyalty in coming to this country and then deciding to leave because of economic challenges?\n\nYou're not living under a dictatorship like my parents were! 10 lBDlcxyZ4fo

2 years, 3 months ago @jimvalin75 My heart goes out to seniors in Canada most on fixed incomes what chance do they have. \nTrudeau and the Liberal Party have destroyed the meaning of Freedom.\nThey can be defeated the minute the NDP leader grabs a brain 0 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @locholoco We will be off those .. Canada kept silence in regards of what do you really need to do to secure a livable pension... After 30 years we won't even make a min wage?? 0 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @alexjames6747 I left Canada to Mexico 5 years ago. Rent 500 USD for 2 bedroom furnished apartment at sea side. My grocery 300 USD per month including food and drinks. Car insurance 400 USD a year. Working online. 0 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @Martin-qm2lg Not surprised. Canada terribly managed. 0 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @christopheralmazardejesus7138 Ok... Toronto and Vancouver is a very small part of Canada... they are not the whole Canada... I understood the struggles but there are lots of places in Canada is what we say livable... Hey Im alone here in Edmonton... i pay mortgage,,, i pay bills,,, i pay debts,,, i support my family back home,,,, i buy whatever i want and most of all,,, i only have one job... and look!!! Im surving for 14 years now alone... Struggles should be dealt with willingness to do what is necessary,,, hardwork and resiliency not quitting... you will still have to work hard whether you go back home or go somewhere else... at least here in Edmonton,,, you're hard work is rewarding unlike most of the countries around the world... 2 lBDlcxyZ4fo

2 years, 3 months ago @SalesforceUSA I met some of these people in Thailand after COVID. There was a small group of Chinese who kept to themselves at our hostel. One day I overheard them in Chinese repeatedly talking about my country Mexico which got me to talk with them. They were quite happy to learn I could speak Chinese but more excited to learn I was from Mexico. They started asking me a bunch of questions about crossing the border into the US to which I bluntly told them I had no idea about and discouraged it. I asked where they got these crazy ideas from and they said that people were posting videos and tutorials of how to cross into the US online. The Chinese government hard handed approach to COVID was what made them leave. They wanted to go both for the freedom and economic benefits but they had a very naive and overly optimistic view of the US. They saw the high wages US workers were making but had no idea as to the incredibly high living costs associated with living there. I tried explaining that there was a housing shortage and that their expectations for life in the US would set them for disappointment but they either didn't believe me or brushed off my criticism. I also tried encouraging them to go to German or Australia instead (places which I feel would be better and easier for them to enter) but they seemed dead set on just going to the US. Unfortunately I don't know where they are now as Wechat is blindly and constantly blocking and deleting accounts in SE Asia without reason 16 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @mariefrancoisegregroirebel7858 Total lie! Moving to Canada was a mistake as a professional. They’re recruiting professionals but don’t offer much to them. I regret moving as a doctor but fewer opportunities 17 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @gp-gt4cv All of them are using our country like a trampoline to go somewhere else. When they are getting older, they are coming back for pension and medical care. They need the Canadian passport, nothing else. Unfortunately, we need people to live here forever, not temporarily for education and citizenship. 0 lBDlcxyZ4fo
2 years, 3 months ago @fourteendays544 Canadians are leaving Canada and that's what should be concerning. As Canadian born and raised now retired, I have finally had enough if the past 3 decades of crap in this country and also found a way to immigrate out of Canada to a country who places its citizens FIRST! 0 lBDlcxyZ4fo
