2 years ago @melanieevans4443 We need to stop now. Now. Now. Coming to Canada in the guise of being a student……to work…….to stay. When I went abroad as a student I was required to have $$$$$. Coming to Canada and needing to work to afford to live is kinda ridiculous. Sure it sounds like they bring revenue. When they use Canadian services it’s costing Canada it’s just hidden. 0 eP02h50KIOA

2 years, 1 month ago @taniaf.9576 Schools accepting more than a certain amount of international students a year should be required to provide campus housing as part of the tuition cost for international students. This insures the student can afford both schooling and room and board and they won't put excessive pressure on the local housing market. 0 eP02h50KIOA

2 years, 1 month ago @karenzhou1083 20 years ago, international students were the cream of the crop. They usually came from upper class families and were wealthy. Some of these were my friends, who went to boarding schools abroad and decided to come to UT for their bachelor's. Many went on to graduate school in the United States or Switzerland and never came back to Canada again. They were not here to be Canadian citizens. They were already very wealthy and there was no incentive to be here. I learned a lot from their experiences. The international student route was never meant to be a pathway to citizenship. 4 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 1 month ago @JingleBell12 International students do not adapt the canadian culture is the problem. 4 eP02h50KIOA
