2 years, 7 months ago @eightballsidepocket9467 Just try to be a bit more selective when it comes to immigrants. Language and employable skills should have preference. Letting everyone in that weasels over the (American!!) border is not helping, it’s adding to shortages. This government and its virtue signalling is going to be the end of what once was Canada. 0 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @donhlohinec2242 Bring in LESS immigrants & build more housing until the two balance. Then bring in as many immigrants as we have housing for ! 0 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @মাইনকারচিপ্পা After getting a PhD degree from University of Alberta, I’m moving to USA. I have nothing to do in Canada. This country is running by some clowns. 21 VkvctSYw8kg

2 years, 7 months ago @jacksellers4412 Lol why does everyone moving to Canada think cities are the best place to go?\nSmall towns are far cheaper to live in, housing is at least 1/4 the cost.\nDon’t look at cities to live.\nShopping is done online now.\nWait times for the hospital in a city are crazy. Small town hospitals have much faster wait times. 2 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @MyLateralThawts The arguments for a cheap foreign labour pool are exactly the same for slavery back in the day. 1 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @derek4490 Flooding this country like there no tomorrow , wtf 1 VkvctSYw8kg

2 years, 7 months ago @slimfromthesix5781 Hope everyone caught when he said we need immigrants to come here to keep building homes, what this is is yes some are building homes but most are buying homes and renting to their own . This housing issue is beyond fixing 11 VkvctSYw8kg

2 years, 7 months ago @lovelighttheotherside1251 No, it’s our weather, it’s freezing cold, they get on a full bus, to a low income job. 1 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @neeluswar They should focus on providing jobs to immigrants that are already here instead of getting more and more in to increase the number of homeless and poverty 25 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @mocktaburnak2208 heres an idea. why not train the exploding homeless populations to build houses instead of bringing in immigrants to do it? sounds like a win win 0 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @johnq2068 Plenty of teenagers here already to work fast food joints. Plus legal immigrants are leaving because of our open border policy. 0 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @Sarah-kn9iv Great to hear! But I don't believe it! There are still more refugees coming over to Canada to use whatever benefits they can get! 0 VkvctSYw8kg

2 years, 7 months ago @shahisthabanu292 they are takin new immigrant every year \nbut they have problems of house income and job 0 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @birgitmitchell5873 Canada is a vast country, but all immigrants want to live in the big cities, where housing is the most expensive and the climate is most termperate. I think the rising cost of city housing is in part due to immigration. We have many, many, many smaller towns and cities that need the medical, technical and manufacturing experience of immigrants, but no one wants to go there. I think the government needs to make these places more attractive to immigrants to help build these communities. 11 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @shahisthabanu292 its really hard to leave in canada \ni had a very bad experience living in canada specially in basement 1 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @Futbucker1 Who would’ve thought the mass immigration of non skilled workers wouldn’t work out 0 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @roncrook5344 As a non immigrant I'm okay if they choose to leave. 0 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @tarekkhalifa1645 A medical doctor works as Uber. A pilot as baggage carrier PHD getting refused while the jobs are there. On top of that a taxation system ripe you off. So. No career no financial assets. Leaving is better. 5 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @johnvannorman7442 and we are suppose to believe this 0 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @mw3372 Perfect. Immigrants will benefit greatly by living anywhere but Canada. Theres countries out there offering free homes and land if you move there. Check it out !!! 7 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @neeluswar Despite very high education, immigrants find their life in big dilemma to accept powerty in Canada or go back and live respectable life 0 VkvctSYw8kg

2 years, 7 months ago @okavangogh End naturalization, increase immigration. Follow the arab gulf states model. 0 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @rbesfe Many immigrants are straight up scammed into coming here by predatory immigration companies. They tell them about the high income, but not the high cost of living. I feel for everyone who uproots their life just to find out they have to do it again in a few years. 0 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @JamesChou-u3q No point when local Canadian employers see foreign work experience as a negative with some exceptions for work in the USA 1 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @russelrobinson4291 no housing and four or five hundred new immigrants to sleep on the street 0 VkvctSYw8kg

2 years, 7 months ago @marekbrodowski7225 Imagine a country with one of the biggest resources of wood and highest prices for houses. It's like Qatar had the most expensive gas on earth 18 VkvctSYw8kg
2 years, 7 months ago @minimaxmiaandme.4971 This is not a bad thing, I miss the Canada of 10 years ago. It is unrealistic for immigrants to think that they can take a job away from a Canadian citizen. Ask yourself, as a Canadian in a foreign country, would I be treated as well as they are in Canada. In most cases, no. 134 VkvctSYw8kg
