Me and wife are nurses and we are living very cheap lifestyle to save money and leave Canada. Taxes are insane, housing is super expensive, insurance, groceries, utilities etc are super expensive. |

It's not just the exorbitant cost of living . When you come from places like Pakistan or Bangladesh Canada can seem like paradise , but if you come from Europe you discover that the tedious, monotonous way of life , where the only outlet is to get high on alcohol or drugs is not for you. You go to any major city , with the exception of Montreal , and it's a boring, boring life . |

i'm watching this while booking overtime because I can't make it on 40 hours a week. Its a real problem. Government waste abounds, Aboriginals just got a 23 billion payout this year. While laudable, Canada can't afford this largesse. any longer.Crime is so rampant, over a billion in stolen cars were shipped overseas from Canada. BC is the most expensive place to live in Canada, I don't think that immigrants are doing their homework when choosing what province to live before they arrive to Canada. You don't move to the most expensive province from another country to the high cost of living and lest you can afford it before hand. |
