1 year, 10 months ago @mr.robert3137 “As soon as the land of any country has all become private property, the landlords, like all other men, love to reap where they never sowed and demand a rent even for its natural produce.” -Adam Smith 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI

1 year, 10 months ago @sirgluk8904 To be honest, after watching this video, im not as worried about paying my rent and utilities on time anymore, haha. why am i so stressed every month on the 1st ? It seems people do Whatever the hell they want in this country and get away with it just fine. 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI

1 year, 10 months ago @Tootoo45 The government hurts landlords but that will good tenants eventually. This stupid system only benefits bad tenants 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI
1 year, 10 months ago @ryanelinsky2025 None of this would be happening if Mike Harris hadn't dissolved the rent control board. With no governmental oversight it's become a landlords free-for-all allowing rent to be increased between tenancies by whatever percent the LL choses, utterly insane. And tenants need a place to live so they'll take on a place they can't afford to get a roof over their and then this happens! It's an extremely broken system.\n\nAnd the children of the dying Boomer and previous generations are inheriting these properties and want their 'share' or 'cut'. Their folks were doing fine renting out that 2 bedroom apartment for $1200 or that entire 3-bedroom house for $2000 plus utilities but those amounts of rent once divided between these Boomers two or three, or more, kids $2600-2800 for 2 bedroom apartment or $4000-5000 for an entire house splits up much nicer for the children... broken. 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI
1 year, 10 months ago @dragon-ir8te Using the housing market as a cash flow business needs to be stopped. Limit everyone to owning only 2 properties at the most and force landlords to sell and find a real job. Couple that with lowering mass immigration then the next generation can finally start becoming home owners instead of perennial renters. 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI
1 year, 10 months ago @alianbaba9330 I admire the calmness of this landlord. If someone steal my house, I will lose my mind. Unless this landlord owns other properties with better tenants. 88 N0xk0Bn6FqI

1 year, 10 months ago @YesItsReallyKeith I know some peeps who moved to Canada got lump sum from gov, didn't pay their rent, collected monthly cheques for the 3 kids and after 10 months left the apartment and put a down payment on a house !!! messed up !!! 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI
1 year, 10 months ago @alanbenjamin147 Court system should only allow these looters tenants no more than 3 months before eviction 1 N0xk0Bn6FqI
1 year, 10 months ago @alanbenjamin147 That’s why landlords are picky about type of tenants they select especially those on government subsidies 3 N0xk0Bn6FqI
1 year, 10 months ago @Fatimaateye786 Subhanallah she needs to pay that money absolutely wrong ? 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI
1 year, 10 months ago @ianbradley2262 You know I've always paid my rent on time. I've never been late once and I'm on disability. It's people like this that are parasites. She also thinks that everybody owes her and she's entitled to everything and that's the kind of generation we're in now and we definitely need a big overhaul in our rental system 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI
1 year, 10 months ago @moneymaverickstv What? Wow 1 N0xk0Bn6FqI
1 year, 10 months ago @econhelp583 When will the people of Canada demand politicians to fix these ridiculous laws that are unfair and disastrous to the housing market? Renters think they are not affected by these laws but renters are greatly affected since these laws are a major reason why rental prices are so high! 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI
1 year, 10 months ago @lovegoodguy She isn't at fault, she learnt it from our own current government motto which is borrow now and pay later ?\nU reap what you sow! \n\nIf u want to fix the problem then destroy the root cause of it. We the people are the Manager, it's time to fire this current guy and hire a new normal one. Problem will be fix! 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI

1 year, 10 months ago @NarinderSingh-xo3kk Life is back to normal after Covid. All Banks, Businesses, courts are in person. \nWhy is LTB still online? Why not put LTB back in person, to speed up things? One date takes ONE YEAR. \nI filed on Jan 3rd '24, got the hearing notification somewhere in Mar/Apr for a date in June. \nIt took another 62 days to get an order after 2 reminders. \n \nNow.... Another trick pulled out by her...\n\nAs of today, Aug, 16th, 2024 The rent and utilities stand at \nRent\t$44,200.00 \nUtilities 5,371.96 \n Total $49,571.96 \n \n \nShe has a stay on the order and the next date is Sep, 24th 2024. Will keep you posted. 3 N0xk0Bn6FqI

1 year, 10 months ago @marcd4947 Where is the justice for Christ sakes. This individual is not even attempting to pay anything why is it always the homeowner that gets screwed this man and his wife used a condo as an investment if this young lady cannot make her payments she should leave and make arrangements on making the payments that you owe why is that Canada always protects the criminals but not the victim 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI

1 year, 10 months ago @sonyahedzelek1500 Landlords do not want to rent their places because of stories like this and THAT is why there is a shortage of rental housing in Canada! Why would any landlord want to put themselves in such a vulnerable position, potentially not getting rent and in turn not being able to cover their OWN mortgage. Does the bank let people not pay their mortgage for a year?! No! I know so many people who have empty suites that they won’t rent out because they are worried about tenants not leaving when it isn’t working out or when they want their space back etc. It’s so frustrating as an owner and parent of kids who are getting older and who are looking for rentals. If the tenancy board can’t do their job then get rid of them and hire new people who can. 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI
