2 years, 7 months ago @I-HAVE-A-BOMB Because we are full, they cant hide how bad our economy is by fudging the numbers through immigrants anymore. Canada is FULL. We have been in recession for years, they are hiding it via immigration. 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @DrQuagmire The same reason I had to move back in with my folks as an adult. Laid off, no prospects and even if there was, housing would still be unaffordable. I love being with my folks but it is a bit embarrassing like I’ve failed in some way. ? 0 09qU8UyRJjQ

2 years, 7 months ago @j.d.morden8565 Regulate our housing market. Get the private parasites out of our bedrooms. Make housing available for regular people again.\n\nStraight up ban airbnb and the like.\n\nMake it so the younger generations have something else other than a life of renting to look forward to. Honestly, the way it is, I don't think too many people would care if Canada dissolved. What's Canada doing for Canadians if our basic needs are unmet? 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @j.d.morden8565 Are they leaving because the immigration requirements suddenly became too tough? Is that why we're relaxing the requirements?\n\nOr is it because the basic fundamentals required for life are so out of reach in Canada now?\n\nMost immigrants come from places already subjected to the corruption of housing all going to greedy private-interests intent on just renting the housing back to the people in a perpetual state of serfdom. Most immigrants should see what's happening in Canada plainly, and know to avoid it and move on for greener pastures.\n\nWe could always green our pastures, instead of just focusing on Trudeau's stupid pipelines and all else. 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @TheUnvaccinatedGuy Finally some good news ? 2 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @scottmacpherson2352 No housing...taxed to death I lived here born here. I'm struggling 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @delilahlarose-fc2iw Are you egging kidding me?\nI’m Canadian, moved from Alberta to Montreal and every one in Pauline Julienne school is an immigrant except perhaps 4 people, 3 from my family and a girl from Toronto .\nI had a rude awakening to find out the immigrants tuition is free - mine I had to pay for. Also the immigrants are GIVEN money to attend class 500 - 600 per person per month. So if it is a couple that is 1000/month and that is on top of the housing benefits they get for free.\nMy family had to no such benefit.\nAdditionally even though educated, because we are anglophones we could not get even menial jobs. I applied at a value Villiage and was denied because I did not speak French however a class mate in my “beginners” who also knew no French but was from Mexico did get a job there. (Hanging up cloths)\nSo this is a small example of Trudeau’s government giving preferential treatment to immigrants over Canadians. 1 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @christhompson8540 Weird. I wonder why? 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @jayhome2715 Do you think Canadians are crying about this? Maybe you'll make it easier for Europeans and Americans and Australians to come to Canada???? They're foreigners also!!!! 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @mkaiser7996 I resigned from a comfortable position in a top international IT company when I decided to come to Canada, only because I saw Canada as a country that was the best, even unmatched in maintaining humanitarian values above any politics or foreign policy. I am now considering leaving like many others, not due to a lack of opportunities or living needs but a seemingly severe lack of morals, disregard for humanity, and undermining human rights for the sake of politics and foreign policies of the government amid the current carnage in Palestine. When you see hundreds of thousands of Canadians, including Jews, protesting on the streets of Canada, demanding that Canada push for an immediate ceasefire in Palestine, and see no reaction from the government because they are afraid to annoy the USA, you wonder if the government really represents the nation's will. 2 09qU8UyRJjQ

2 years, 7 months ago @peaqs4565 well yeah its absolutely unaffordable to live here... 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @stanburk7392 If you think it's pricey now to live in Canada just wait till the rest of the carbon taxes kick in.\nI was going to use buying a house as an example but forget that with the cost of housing right now it's already unattainable. Instead we'll go with groceries. The cost of fuel will go up with the carbon tax. So all the steps in getting your veggies to your plate go up. To offset this the feds say through their newly created bureaucracy they will give some people some money back. This does nothing to help the vast majority of us.\n Basically if you voted for the LIberal/NDP government you voted for these higher prices. Enjoy. 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @swager1950 Good let them go, Canada does not have enough $$$$$ to help everyone . 0 09qU8UyRJjQ

2 years, 7 months ago @ived7138 No problem. The Khalistanis can more than make up for all the departures from Canada. They have all the skill sets needed which include violent protests, threats of attacks against Air India, etc., for which they are handsomely being rewarded by the Canadian government. Canada’s future is bright in their hands. 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @catalinagq578 We all want to leave! The price of living in this country is not worth it! 0 09qU8UyRJjQ

2 years, 7 months ago @jessejon5891 Record number of immigrants leaving, but record numbers coming in. This title is disingenuous. 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @rodgergarvie327 That's Great News to my ears. All Migrants should leave Our Canada. They just bring Their old life and ways with them! They're not looking for a New Life, they're trying to make Our Canada into one of their Breeding grounds using Our Tax Dollars to Take Over Our Country! Canadians watch their Country being Taken Over, but Do Nothing! Someday they'll ask, Where did Canada Go? ? 0 09qU8UyRJjQ

2 years, 7 months ago @sanshin9 What frustrates me is that a lot of these immigrants are prone to vote Liberal or NDP. The problem with Canada is the leadership that they helped elect. Not all, but stats show this. When Canada comes back as a great country, these people will come back and then the cycle will repeat itself. This is why there should be a new law saying that in order to vote, one generation has to had lived in Canada for at least 20 years. Or else they'll just bounce back and forth and simply use Canada for its benefits, while we're the ones always fixing and rebuilding the country. I feel very bad for the people about to retire and now don't have enough because of the poor choices this government have made during these 8 years. 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @maryamzokaie7450 People immigrate to have better lives. When they come to Canada and realize it will take years for them to find the same job they had back in their own countries (if they are lucky enough to find one), they decide to return. People immigrate to build lives that they would not have been able to build in their countries. They don't come here to start from scratch and live in conditions that are worse than what they have left behind. They don't want to have to wait months for a simple medical procedure. They don't want to pay such insane rents. People immigrate to live more comfortable lives. If they work and pay taxes, they want to see the effect of their tax money on improvements. If the medical system is free but people have to stay with illness for a long time because wait times are too high, then what is the benefit of it? We bring in doctors and don't let them work. We bring in nurses and don't let them work. The same goes for teachers and many other professionals. If a country needs immigrants, it also needs their expertise and knowledge. You either need people or you don't. Stop this double standard. 5 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @andreyche193 The Canadian economy is in stagnation (at best). The real estate in the mean time stays in a bubble (partly due to inflation and partly to that very unsustainable immigration policy). Labor market is as good as dead (at least for qualified skilled workers) - with too many businesses (including oil and gas) in decline or leaving. And the overall quality of life as well as the future outlook for young and new Canadians are in decline. Try to fix all that first! 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @xxSMOKINGUNxx Not gonna see me complaining… there is a housing crisis and lots of unemployment.. so get the “F” out if you don’t want to be Canadian… we never asked people to bring their problems and crimes from their home to ours!!! Drugs ,sex trafficking ,and scams have skyrocketed in the past 15 years!!! 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @tmoleary7179 you failed to answer one basic question. Where are these people going? To the US? Is it easier there to get into professions? 0 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @gregarsen7000 Immigrants interviewed by March Leger, showed that less than 2% that are not planning to seek canadian citizenship. These are their reasons:\n\nHigh cost of application.\nRampant immigration from regressive culture countries.\nExcessive government taxing.\nNeeds private healthcare system along side universal system.\nBetter health care in home country.\nBecoming a communist country.\nJustin Trudeau.\nNo significant differences between citizenship and PR.\n\nThese reasons for not seeking citizenship are personal and nuanced from their experiences in our country. I hope some day Canada is great for all of those who live here. 1 09qU8UyRJjQ
2 years, 7 months ago @Vaarkp Canada used to be great until liberals decided to flood it with immigration. Most of them don’t even clarify to be there and makes me wonder they cheated the system and Canada has no clue. 1 09qU8UyRJjQ
