2 years, 2 months ago @johnruthnoel2289 He should not be deported. 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @zinquips2887 This guy served 6 months for each person he killed! Disgraceful! This doesn't even factor in the injured and the grieving families. 2 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @ein-rw7uy That was an accident. What about all of the immigrant criminals who may or are recently citizens of Canada. Why not revoke and deport? Why do Canadians have to pay for immigrant criminals? 1 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @juliusbadovsky2378 Some of the new immigrants truck drivers ,they are rude they think they own the highway drive too fast mostly drive in the centre lane even when they don’t need to they don’t care about the cars. I saw one that he was eating and he had his knees on the wheels of the truck. How safe is that they don’t obey the laws of the highway. 1 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @beanz23232 As somebody who has been hit before, I have zero empathy for the one who caused the crash. In my case it was luckily just injuries to myself requiring physio and some rehab but others aren't as lucky. People need to be held accountable for mistakes they make. None of this slap on the wrist crap, if you're going to drive you need to understand what the machine you're piloting can do to both you and other people if you're being careless. The person who hit me has a higher insurance bill now, so I'm sure she'll never hit anybody again and the problem is 100% solved. 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @zinquips2887 I was nearly driven into a crevasse in the Roger's pass by a Sikh trucker. It was in March after a heavy wet snowfall. It was at night and the fastest I could go was 70 km/h. I could not let him pass because the passing lanes were not plowed, The driver kept ramming into my back bumper. It was snowing. It was the middle of the night. It was a whiteout snowstorm. This went on for hours. It was terrifying. 1 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @zensukai And yet the white guy that ran the stop sign on HWY 1 in Manitoba killing 16 faced zero penalty. 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @vladebra I have countless dash cam recordings of 18 wheelers going way over the speed limits, not slowing down at highway intersections even though there is a sign for that etc...Don't they have a device that is recording what they are doing? And nobody fires them from their company when checking those data. I have to assume that bc I have yet to see one to drive proper. The system is corrupt to it's bone. 1 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @wallybartfay56 Very tragic 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @ayseltoksoz-x3o An East Indian truck driver almost killed us last year on a freeway in BC. He was 100% wrong but as if we tried to kill him, he cussed us. He is a potential murderer. 6 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @swiralgod I just don't appreciate them. 1 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @grahamkearnon6682 Don't let the door hit you on the way out. This action is exactly the action to warn what can happen if you give the fi ger to our rules, let it be a warning to others. 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @anonymousanonymously8216 So this guy runs a stop sign killed 16 people and all he gets is deported?, no prison time? 1 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @flyingbeaver57 Global News is trying very hard to turn this deportation into re-casting a convicted criminal as an oppressed victim. Why? \nSidhu was not and is not a Canadian citizen. Conviction = deportation. But put that question aside for a moment. Was Sidhu trained, licensed, experienced and knowledgeable about driving a heavy vehicle on a highway across the Prairies in winter conditions? If so, where did he get that training and experience? Did he have the qualifications for a Class 1 Operator's License? Did he have prior experience? If so, where, when, and how much? \nGlobal News doesn't focus on what caused the deaths of the Humboldt Broncos - why? Accounts at the time suggested that Sidhu was not qualified, but that by some process he got the job anyway. Will Global be following up on that? Up to now, Global has not asked those questions. Sidhu was convicted for actions resulting in the Humboldt Broncos tragedy. He is not a Canadian citizen and the rules are clear: his criminal conviction means he's being deported. Unlike Global News, the victims I see in this story are the families of the Humboldt Broncos team, and the team members themselves. Global News want to change criminal to innocent victim. Nothing could be further from the truth. He was given a fair trial, convicted and sentenced. Now he is being deported. If Global wish to play the 'reverse the story' game, perhaps they should refuse Canadian citizens' tax dollars as 'revenue'. 3 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @Jackielocks I’m a 2nd Gen Scot/Canadian on one side and the other has been in the New World since the 1600’s. I can’t imagine them taking those many lives and expecting to not be (at the Very Least) Deported..What would happen to a Canadian in India under these circumstances? Deportation back to Canada? I doubt it. 1 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @patklemmensen1694 if being deported was part of his punishment, then his 'debt to society' isn't fully 'repaid' if he's still in canada. leave the humanitarian stuff out of it, that's a white elephant - he shouldn't have reproduced until his deportation order was VOIDED by the justice system. if his lawyer thinks he should be allowed to stay 'to avoid tearing his family apart', well, maybe his lawyer could get exiled to india in his place? 2 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @armandlemieux215 My family came to Canada in 1643, I say that he stays 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @ajaypaulclair8928 This boils down to whether laws for Permanent Residents should be the same as citizens. Once that question is answered we can have a clear way to move forward. 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @roncrowe654 Should have got life in jail no parole 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @carausiuscaesar5672 Our woke politicians main media antifa and left wing will resist any attempt to deport him. 1 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @chucksurgeonertribute2113 His feelings are hurt, but the innocent lives wont be coming back. justin brings in whoever he can to make them citizens in 4 years and get elected again. West needs to leave. 1 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @MahendraPatel-xb9bb He should be jailed for 12 years and than deported 2 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @RR-xb7dl Still haven't heard the reason why he went through the stop sign in the first place. Sleeping, texting or didn't give a damn? Those are the only choices. 1 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @nicknamethieves I don't get it. It was a unfortunate and tragic accident. He didn't cause the accident on purpose. He owned up to it. Pleaded guilty. I get a mistake was made. But i don't get is how him being deported prevents anything, and or remedies anything. The terrorst, omar khadar, who killed allied soldiers lives in Canada with a $10 million payout. Illegal aliens with no documentation? Thats fine too. The man suffered enough and will live with his mistake for the rest of his life. I just don't understand it. It feels like punitive punishment for unintended and accidental consequences. 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @LillianMacDonald-k6x Have you noticed while you drive anywhere that nobody drives to the rules we are all equal. ....and I am CANADIAN white and have lost a child to a DRUNK person and would NOT waste my energy on being cruel it will not get you anything but deeper heart ache. 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA

2 years, 2 months ago @nabilkhalid56 I've seen similar drivers driving like crazy and when you try to tell them to be lawful, they start threatening back. Serious actions are needed! 2 i-Qsiw5HeiA

2 years, 2 months ago @robertharinga8860 Finally... a good news story. But still so sorry for the families of the victims of the tragedy. 2 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @flatfish72 India has 1.5 billion population. Canada has only 40M ,of which 10M already being Indian. 10M more in couple years, Canada will become a state of India.? 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @flatfish72 Canada is becoming a joke. 2 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @GeorgeGomes-ij1tq this wasn't done out of malice the owner of the company who hired him should bear some responsibility 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @ianhowes8141 Do you mean he might actually be gone before he is eligible to collect his CPP and OAS??? 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @YouTubeStalker Canada lets psychopath killers roam free everyday that have intentionally killed people. Those killers are allowed to walk free among us and can legally change their name so nobody knows who they are or what they’ve done. This man made a mistake, many lives were lost , but, he has owned up to it, shown remorse and should not be deported. He didn’t use the insanity plea he choose to face it head on. He deserves to stay in Canada. 6 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @orobleh77 This man had caused a tremendous pain to many families. I don’t see any chance even remotely that he should stay in Canada 4 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @nicolafazio674 I think family members should have a say and no one else. Very tragic situation 1 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @tonyallen9213 A sad end for this gentleman who was trying to make a new home for himself in Canada> Yet, he is not the only guilty of bad driving: just travel the QE 2 from Crossfield to Calgary or Okotoks to Calgary, hmmm, don't think we'll see too many complaints there... Many white faces amongst those who drive badly, poorly and dangerously. The Canadian road test is piss poor in comparison to the UK and Europe: no 3 point turns, reversing around a corner or emergency stop. Even more comical is when you get a green light to go you then have to yield to the white man for people crossing: a messed up country in more ways than one. 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @dkell1597 This is only the tip of the iceberg \nWith businesses that are run like they're in India not in Canada 3 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @dkell1597 Maybe Canadians should go live in India and then they would understand the difference 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @Kartay333 A tragedy all around. 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @dkell1597 They are not the same as Canadians. They are from a third world country \nThere's going to be massive differences 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @rosshembling2953 What took so long??? 0 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @ifyouweremeforreal How did they make him the victim?? How. This is insanity. 22 i-Qsiw5HeiA
2 years, 2 months ago @ifyouweremeforreal Far too many reckless truck drivers on our streets and little accountability, while others get deported for far less 1 i-Qsiw5HeiA
