1 year, 11 months ago @ShannonJanzen Too bad it’s not 100% 0 7hOyjWdJNgM
1 year, 11 months ago @tmlcreativeproductions5813 most newcomers to any country struggle especially since most are not bringing in wads of cash to start a business but literally scraping in using life savings just to get here - however once here with residential status a national health care and level of income security for unemployment benefits is an added bonus which you won't get in every country regardless of residency status but refugees and others come in with no money at all as well as problems in some cases with language barriers, but as bad as everyone thinks it is the grass is not greener on the other side just because you're paying lower taxes but privatising infrastructure only makes things more expensive even when you're not taxed.... and Canada is a huge country with very limited number of tax payers such a small market would double costs for private business too - and just cos things may be cheaper you may find you don't fit as well as you thought..... and also the more you move the less time you have to settle and grow into the space you find yourself now....I've lived in 3 very different countries so I understand how difficult it is.... and how some places regardless of cost just fit better than others.... I love Toronto... but would not want to live in Vancouver or Texas for very different reasons... and don't judge a city by people who don't know how privileged they are to live in Toronto or anywhere in Canada really they should try living in India or Russia or even South Africa... places may be cheap but the lifestyle isn't worth much as a result of being failed states - even USA is falling apart road by road bridge by bridge.....of course there's hope for all of them eventually.... but if you don't like it it's probably best you leave.... if you don't want Canada why would Canada want you.... your just bringing the nation into disrepute 0 7hOyjWdJNgM
1 year, 11 months ago @Testimony4644 the taxes, the gas gouging, and the food is the problem. And who controls those industries; the truth is plain to see. 0 7hOyjWdJNgM
1 year, 11 months ago @anhbinbaccuc8850 Rents are the same as your monthly standard salary, hydro, phones, internet, transportation and food all added up to 2 persons salaries...so if you're single buy a tent 0 7hOyjWdJNgM

1 year, 11 months ago @beye90 all these immigrants who bought homes are gonna get slaughtered when the housing market crashes . that’s the only thing that’s holding it up right now that’s the real reason why they are bringing so many in the last few years . 0 7hOyjWdJNgM
1 year, 11 months ago @anthonymorris5084 Can I hold the door for them? 0 7hOyjWdJNgM
1 year, 11 months ago @Whiterabbit-b6t The worst part is that the healthcare has really gone down. Paramedics can take an hour to come. Wait in hospital 24 hours. Robot care. MRI you have to have a lethal disease to get a fast appointment. Most of the time you are just dead by the time your turn comes. Sad to see what this country has come to. It is garbage and comparing it to war torn countries still doesnt make it seem like a paradise. 0 7hOyjWdJNgM
1 year, 11 months ago @trad3612 yea people may leave - is anything going to change? probably not. 0 7hOyjWdJNgM

1 year, 11 months ago @ahboo2003 Many people are leaving Canada because they have already obtained Canadian citizenship. Hopefully, they won’t come back to collect free retirement money as a low-income family from our government after they retire! 1 7hOyjWdJNgM

1 year, 11 months ago @specialiseesi6746 And yet temporary foreign workers exploded!! From around 178 in 2018 to 4000 in 2023!!! - according to a CBC report. No wonder we can´t find jobs anymore! There should be a list of unemployed people companies must consult before being allowed to bring anyone in. 0 7hOyjWdJNgM

1 year, 11 months ago @akeemit i wanna know how people are managing to leave. because finding work outside of canada is so difficult, applying for a visa is so difficult. seems like it's so easy to get into canada, but impossible to get out. 1 7hOyjWdJNgM
1 year, 11 months ago @Miso__doodle Wages and industries are not keeping up when stacked on a global scale. North America in general has fallen far behind. 2 7hOyjWdJNgM
1 year, 11 months ago @lukeatmyas Unsuspecting new immigrants are generally unaware that the Canadian economy is mainly based on real estate, housing, and rent, and that to sustain it, Canadian profiteers need more and more people to come in. I bet most of them do not know that their presence in Canada only exacerbates inflation and thus making them and other working class people worse off. 0 7hOyjWdJNgM
1 year, 11 months ago @Mc-eu6wv Jus leave the country if u go to another province same issues 5 7hOyjWdJNgM
