If theres BEEN no payments, then yeah it makes sense to evict. But if theyre expecting 41k monthly that would be ridiculous. Dont get how she stacked that many months without paying rent and didn't get kicked out alot sooner. Police could remove her |

For me. If you are going to be a landlord. The unit you have must be already paid, if its mortgage dont be a landlord. Because if its already fully paid, whatever happens at the end of the day its still your unit, and the landlord can still sell it the future for the higher price. I am still in favor of the law for the tenant, because this landlords, they tend to put higher price whenever they want, specially those under the table, what ever the trend they can increase the price, or depends on their mortgage interest. It happens to us before, our rent is 800, then next year they are asking for 1,100. So we just moved out, then they rent the place for 1200 for the next renter, now we rent in a legit apartment who follows the percentage each year of rent increase, so we pay on time. |

Why is the rent $41k plus hydro? I’d that for 6months or the year???? too ridiculously expensive for a condo - the board should cap rent prices at affordable prices!!! |

I am a renter who has been evicted before because of a somewhat questionable N-12. I didn't fight it because I knew I would lose in the end. However, if I had fought it I would have still payed my rent. Always pay your rent. |

Bro I would rather keep my money in the bank than purchasing a house and renting it to some low life who won’t pay me rent. The law is always on the tenants side so why go through the hassle. It’s just pathetic. |

If you own a vacant property they’ll hit you with a vacant home tax…. If you rent out that property the renter will have all the rights and it could take months/years to get the bad ones out…. Did I get that right? |

I’m not sure if it does already, but if it doesn’t, this is the perfect reason why paying rent on time should be tied to your credit score. If you missed payments, your credit score should take a hit. |

Landlords should be able to report this to the credit bureau and/or be able to garnish wages.\nAlso I would refuse to pay the property tax and charge back the city/province for amount owed +interest, it's their laws that allow this criminal to stay in the condo. |
