2 years ago @Petertrottierrealtor The Landlord and Tennant board is completely useless. \nIt’s time for a serious update to the rental laws in Ontario.\nThe biggest problem is that these freeloading dead beets know how to game the system and know every trick in the book to prolong the eviction process for years.\nI’ve had so many clients lose vast sums of money dealing with this nonsense.\nSo glad I sold my last rental property so that I don’t have to deal with this insanity. 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI
2 years ago @paulgill7222 Im in BC . I got rid of the tenants cuz they would be late. Filled 15 non payment / late payment notices with the tenancy branch and delivered to tenant. The tenancy branch did absolutely NOTHING. 8 months later and loosing $36, 000 I made the decision to never rent ever. I got Airbnb license and am glad I made the right choice. I make the same rental income with no headache, and less use of the house. My two friends who had rental properties just stopped renting and sold them and put their monies into other businesses. Id say if you are renting, sell them and do something else cuz its a no win situation in canada. These politicions know there are more renters to give them the votes. 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI
2 years ago @jazvirdi6878 This is ridiculous, the tenants have so many rights over hardworking landlords. And the landlords are getting screwed over royally. Completely unfair. 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI

2 years ago @terryleung622 Yea... tenants take advantage way too much. Canada, hurry up and fix this glitch, that way us landlords aren’t paid not enough and that’s acceptable? 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI

2 years ago @MrDaavee Well, this is the result of giving criminals more rights than law abiding citizens. This is the result of keeping the libs and ndp in power. This is what you wanted. This is what you go. Enjoy! 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI

2 years ago @jeffreymiller6116 It really is a shame and it goes both ways .. Because of shady landlords laws had to be put in place now and unfortunately it works against some landlords that are legit .. The system is fuked and chalk it up to another reason a Liberal government doesn't work with True-Dope at the helm ? 2 N0xk0Bn6FqI
2 years ago @1ABNDT This is ridiculous, after the raise to capitol gains tax & primary residents, plus 600,000 undocumented migrants/160,000 illegal migrants, & more coming. \n\nThis is unsustainable & should not be foeced onto Canadians who have done their part to meet the social contract.\n\nTrudeau & Jagmeet need to go. 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI
2 years ago @godofgamesultimate8655 He’s not a first victim. Tenants are exploiting, F**** Up the law because in Canada there’s no such law. Govt. of Ontario (Conservative), Govt of Canada (Liberals and NDP) all by purpose shut their eyes therefore local investors are running away from Canada, and foreign investors is not even looking to Canada. There’s no protection for homeowners and investors in Canada. 1 N0xk0Bn6FqI

2 years ago @chelseahoney31 It’s happening everywhere. America and UK are high on the list. I want to know what is her reason for not paying rent. People trying to hide their face and saying they are being harassed should feel embarrassed. Landlords have bills and if you want to live for free move outside. Homeless is free. 13 N0xk0Bn6FqI
2 years ago @Jess-o3m Thankfully the Liberal Government is forcing Landlords to report their Tenants rental history to the Credit Bureaus. Also, the Bad Tenants List on Facebook is useful. Might be time for property owners in Ontario to lobby the Province to take on the Alberta model; after 14 days of non-payment the Sheriff is sent to remove your trash. 2 N0xk0Bn6FqI
2 years ago @TozeBeastGamingnetwork Well. When the rent is disgusting maybe it's on you for being greedy. Poor rich man, I sure he's really suffering. Welcome to canada maybe don't be so greedy. 2 N0xk0Bn6FqI

2 years ago @hey12542 This came up in my feed, I'm in England ??????? and I've always rented as finances have never really been enough to get on the property ladder. I started off in a Private rental and thankfully I'm now in Social housing with an Assured Tenancy so it would be extremely difficult for the housing association to evict me and they have to prove to fault in court and they can't serve me a no fault notice. However rent has always been my number 1 priority bill, when I rented privately I had a Standing order set up with the bank and they drew the money out every month to pay the landlord. I set it so they drew it 3 days before the rent payment date and to account for weekends as banks don't pay out on weekends. In England ??????? rent is classed as paid when it leaves the tenants account not when a landlord receives it, so that's why I set up to leave 3 days early so it never debited late. Now I live in Social housing and it's been fantastic for me and my needs and I'm super lucky as there isn't much social housing about here anymore. I now pay rent by the method requested by the housing association which is direct debit and I pay it on the due date now as direct debits are credited to your rent account on the actual due date even if it's a weekend and then bank draws it out on the Monday. Rent is so important, I can call the housing association if anything is broken or not working and they send someone to fix it without any extra charge to me as it's all in with the rent. You have to pay your rent and if you can't afford it then look for something cheaper and give notice to your landlord. 0 N0xk0Bn6FqI
2 years ago @kevinn1158 Insane!! The bleeding heart politicians are allowing this garbage. After 2 months it should be an automatic eviction. 1 N0xk0Bn6FqI
