Not to mention Saskatchewan provides a large percentage of the crops in Canada, along with producing potash, and a fair amount of oil, if I’m correct. Also the University of Saskatchewan is surprisingly good, and lots of people move to Saskatchewan to go to the university there. |

There is one thing I disagree. There is no such thing as 'real' unemployment. Canada calculates those 'unemployed' to mean those looking for a job or in between jobs. Which means those that give up, are homeless etc don't count. And I think that's a problem. |

Quebec is #1 because of all the handouts from the rest of the country. Alberta has paid for Quebec as long as I can remember and all they do is shit on the west. I was born in Montreal and the whole place is toxic as fuck unless you are French first and English second. They take your money and spit in your face at the same time. Yukon is the most beautiful. Those places south of the 49th parallel have the mildest weather. The only exception to that is mainland BC which is north of the 49th but has mild weather. Toronto, Montreal, most of the Maritimes - southernmost Canada - have much milder weather than places like Saskatchewan, MB., northern ON., northern Quebec, Labrador or north of the 60th territories. That’s part of the reason immigrants from warm countries congregate largely in Vancouver, TO, Montreal & Halifax. |
