hey im from BC and it's a fair choice to put bc at fourth, but alberta is kinda too cold but at the same time in ways is better than BC I completely agree with Ontario being up there on second cuz its really great. i've never been to quebec and I'm not that interested but maybe I will visit it now to see the difference. |

I hate Quebec. I felt very unaccepted by the people who live there. I would go into restaurants and gas stations and when I didn't speak French the workers would speak very aggressive and disrespectful. I try to avoid Quebec whenever possible. Not to mention the drivers are terrible. Overall I would probably move to Alberta, since Ontario house prices are high. |

I lived in Whitehorse about 5 years. It’s expensive but your salary is much higher than what you make south of their border. There is no rail line because the territory ripped it out, so foods come up via highway, people make shopping trips to Grande Prairie, Edmonton or sometimes BC (if you know who they are you can join in the shopping spree….or shop online) and alcohol is usually brought up to Juneau via boat and trucked to Whitehorse. Great place if you’re an outdoor person. |

Everything about Quebec is true but the hard core French people and the Provincial Government make it the worst Canadian Province because of their attitude to the rest of Canada! I once took a trip there and asked someone for directions; because I didn't speak French they started yelling and swearing at me in French and walked off. Everything there is in French yet the rest of the country is bilingual, why do they not need to be bilingual as well? |

This is actually really well done. As a person from Saskatchewan, I didn’t expect to be as high on the list as we were. But I like it. To go with our temperature swings and high crime rate (I blame that on us being one of the most racist provinces), we also get tons of beautiful skies, a peaceful life with friendly people, and nature to check out ranging from sand dunes and badlands to northern pine forests. |

I've lived in all of the western provinces but moved to Nova Scotia. Our household income far surpasses the average and we live in a sub 50k house and have a cabin on 10 acres. Nothing can compare in my opinion. |

I use to think that BC would be the best place to retire but I'm changing my mind about that. Between 50°C temps where towns spontaneously combust and flooding and landslides to the degree that cuts the province off from the rest of the country, I think I'll just stay where I am. |

Rating provinces as a whole is really stupid, that’s be like rating the U.S while it contains both Texas and New York. Yes that’s how big Canadian provinces are, the super northern and the super southern, As well as east and west. have a completely different culture, attitude and accent. And sometimes even speak a different language. Yes contrary to what foreigners may think Quebec is not the only province with French speaking populations, as well there are some English speaking populations in Quebec. |

Hi. Most BC jobs are service industry and the pay is garbage. Victoria is boring and full of drugs, while Vancouver is loud and full of more drugs. Our labour laws are shit, our public services are underfunded, and there's no housing. Don't come here and do better research.\n\nOh also were underwater at the moment. Bring swim trunks. |
