2 years, 1 month ago @jetta.josh4 Today I learned that the Prime Minister of Canada doesn’t have set term limits, so looks like Canada will continue to sink. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 1 month ago @kodreaming I still think the No 1 reason is the weather. If you are a top talent, you don't want to spend 4-6 months in snow. The government has to work extra hard to make the country attractive, but they are not. I also don't think elected a different leader fixes the problem. Elected leaders can't fix systematic issues, US is a perfect example. Don't have good solution, just ranting here. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 1 month ago @maudlewis8536 My girlfriend recently moved to Toronto, in doing so, she needed to put 6 months rent upfront. Almost $20,000 out of pocket between her and her roommate. What's worse is that the upfront payment is only about 3% of what a comparable condo is being listed for, so with half an average years salary to boot, they still couldn't buy. \n\nSafe to say we are leaving as soon as possible. 18 ZvSNcnG2eqY

2 years, 1 month ago @alphahari7210 Most immigrants are staying 3-5 years for citizenship because just like Canadians they realized that by living just across the border they will get paid better with less taxes, better prices and housing and weather. It's just insane that a huge rich country filled with resources for construction and agriculture can't afford basic housing or affordability for its citizens 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
