2 years, 1 month ago @RoyalTeaLegion 2:02. Simple foreign investment. Less supply= higher demand, = higher price. \n\nForeigner build up homes like investment. Than there's less for the citizens for them to live in. It's smart of those who can make fast money. 1 ZvSNcnG2eqY

2 years, 1 month ago @yjocks This video is a load of crap. People want to live in cities that is why it is expensive. It is that way all over the world. I just sold my mom’s 3 bedroom house for 27,000 in small town Saskatchewan. Took 2 years to sell because no one wants to live in a small town. The utilities and taxes come to only 3,000 a year. As for grocery prices i just came back from a trip to the USA and checked their grocery stores. Their prices are the same or higher and in US dollars. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 1 month ago @mehmetyesil1414 It is too late for Canada to turn back that liveable times. There are horrible problems yes but the worst is that the government doesn't know how to solve those problems either opposition parties. 1 ZvSNcnG2eqY

2 years, 1 month ago @an2thetonio191 The death of social democracy is not simply caused by right-wing parties. They are a symptom. It's the so-called 'left-wing alternatives' that have betrayed the working class in every possible way, by catering solely to the interests of big conglomerates and oligarchs. Canada's Liberal Party is a prime example of this. 1 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 1 month ago @tomtsch6057 Jesus and I thought Switzerland was expensive. Just move over to Europe guys, if no other options remain. We are rooting for you! 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY

2 years, 1 month ago @ЦзинКэ-ы5х You know, the mindset, that troubles in Canada only started with Trudeau is one of the key problems of Canada. 185 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 1 month ago @Richster-tt7vg When I was a teenager my dream was to live in Canada because it seemed like the perfect place to live, beautiful natural sights, a nice, respectful and advanced society and affordable housing. Now Canada is very expensive and full of immigrants, specially asians which I find odd no one seems to talk about it, I was in Vancouver last year and I saw more Asians than white people or any other race, what is that about? At moments it felt like I was in some Asian country. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY

2 years, 1 month ago @MilliBenzzZ I came to Canada when i was three years old in 2000 & i haven’t applied to get my citizenship even tho i could’ve along time ago. I am 26 years old now & after 24 years of being raised up in Canada, I finally have gotten my citizenship about 2 months ago to be exact just so i can vote out this BUM of a prime minister we have in the next election. God i hope he loses. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY

2 years, 1 month ago @Just_Rick_137 The root cause of many societal issues is often greed. For example, lax immigration laws can lead to increased tax revenue for the government. Landlords exploit the housing market by overcharging tenants, while some homeowners resist new developments in their neighborhoods to maintain the value of their properties. When greed is prioritized, everyone loses. The government should act to support the people and set a positive example.\n\nTo address the cost of living and soaring housing prices, policymakers should consider revising immigration policies, implementing rental rate controls to curb excessive landlord greed, and streamlining processes to build more affordable housing. Additionally, subsidies could be used to encourage new construction.\n\nThere's also concern about money laundering through real estate investments by foreign actors, with little action taken by the government to tackle this issue. The carbon tax, intended to address environmental concerns, is ineffective, unnecessary, and nothing short of a cash grab by the Liberal Govt.\n\nIt's crucial for the government to recognize these problems and take steps to resolve them, but that won't happen with Trudeau in power. By fostering a fairer and more just society, we can work towards a more equitable future for everyone. Until then, welcome to Commusocialtatorship Canada. 1 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 1 month ago @Sara-wb2bs We are Canadian and our entire family is dispersing to other locations in the world. Somehow (insane) realtors got it in their head =s that Toronto was like NYC, when in fact Toronto was growing w/ immegrants but was NOTHING like NYC. Those greedy nut balls raised the prices of homes 10 x over within a few years and now many Canadians are living in tents. If you want to live well, don't move to Canada. You'll live and DIE working. Period. No enjoyment. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 1 month ago @phoenixking6624 The next elections is in 2025, I hope the conservatives win, corruption has taken over my countries government, just writing this might pose me a risk. \nWho truly knows anymore, oh Canada how I hope you’re glorious once more. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY

2 years, 1 month ago @emdxemdx If you think that the conservatards are going to lower housing prices, I have a nice brand-new Champlain bridge to sell you (with a nifty electric train on top of it)!\n\nVoting for the NDP will lower housing prices, because it will send all the speculators skedaddling the fuck out of Canada! 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
2 years, 1 month ago @bostonrex3121 There are tens of thousands of Americans moving to Canada every year and most Canadians moving here are not necessarily because they are dissatisfied with Canada. I know lots of Canadians in California who moved here because it's warmer and they tired of the cold. In fact, I have never met a Canadian who said things are worse in Canada than here. All of them think Canada has a better healthcare, education system, nicer people, better government... \nIt's true they have housing problems but it's not like we don't have that here in the US! I'm pretty sure it's worse. 4 ZvSNcnG2eqY
