1 year, 11 months ago @carikulchatechnologies7540 You're an asshole, if you're going to talk about economics, use your real voice, shown your face and qualifications, and engage people. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @TheApplecyder We need proportional representation, referendums and lean towards direct democracy, better regulation on companies making records profits and cutting quality while paying lower taxes, investment in public housing and industries here, nationalizing our natural resources like oil so the people can benefit from the profits not just a few wealthy executives, and accountability for our politicians that don't uphold their promises or act in the peoples best interest, including those that are accused of corruption and colluding with foreign governments/interests. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @yvren1323 i’m watching this from eastern canada, and i’m living on the street starting in a week. being too disabled to work while in university, i’ve been trying to live off of student loans— i’ve lost 25% of my total body weight in 6 months, from starvation due to food prices. \ncanada may not be proudly and openly committing genοcide to indigenous populations anymore, but… we’re still being killed by the state, or trafficked and killed by the settlers.\n\nto any prospective immigrant who isn’t white: canada is a place where dogs are treated much better than brown-skinned people, who are treated equal to or better than the indigenous people of this land that canada loves to say it cares so much about. \n\nreconciliation is dead as long as the colonial government is alive, killing us. 1 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @1955canuck So when's *The Dark Side of 2 and 20* being released? I'm wondering if it'll be as slanted as this pretentious attempt at journalism. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @perrytornado Economic implications/ Economic complications/ The economy is not capitalist/ Conventional economics is archaic, based on ideological fallacies of the medieval epoch/ Gov't and academic institutions reinforce the unbearably stressful socioeconomic policies and inculcate students in the dogma of the profit quotient/ We're subjected to the dystopian realities of the Matrix, Orwellian Animal Farm, 1984/ The macabre theatre of the preposterously absurd is of a global magnitude/ 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @cotillion137 You cherry pick examples to support your point of view and take everything to the extreme. Trying to drive fear, get attention, etc.. Instead of taking averages you should be looking at medians, since averages are skewed by the luxury market. In order to put Canada's situation in context, why don't you compare to US and other markets? Why don't you break things down by city? Have you been to Vancouver - it's expensive because it's absolutely incredible there. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @amt2553 All I know is how happy I was living in Canada, I would do anything to return. 2 ZvSNcnG2eqY

1 year, 11 months ago @girlybutch I wanted so badly to become a Canadian but sadly, after living in Vancouver for 1.5 years, it became apparent that staying in BC would mean never being able to afford to start a business (let alone buy a house) and that making friends was not something locals were interested in doing. I discovered that Canadians were exceedingly polite and helpful to others in the community, but not friendly. The difference is someone being kind enough to return a lost wallet (with the money/cards still in it!! WOW) or phone but won't invite you to their homes, join friend groups, or social circles. Side note.. I also learned that I prefer more overt racism than the polite version experienced in Canada. At least you know where you stand with someone.. 1 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @JODSHire-y5g canada is a sad place. work hard, to prevent starvation, die poor. \nbad weather. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @raggedclawstarcraft6562 7% of canadians leave for the US? Are you sure about that? If that's true, then in mere 10-14 years ALL the canadian population would leave for the US.\n7% of 38 million people is whopping 2.66 million. Mind shattering number of people. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @conniedean3787 THE US HAD 400 MASS SHOOTINGS in 2023 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @conniedean3787 Wow like Anyone would want to live in the US, with a Sleazy, corrupted Donald Trump 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @conniedean3787 This is PROPAGANDA 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @cjrudd Canada has long been seen as a better version of the USA. But even most Canadians will admit that that is a lie. All of the issues that they face are issues that American citizens also face but the main difference is that the US still prospers while Canada seems to be falling apart. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @lh7325 Sounds similar to Australia 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @ArrowHeadForge Right off, you have the perfect reason no one wants to live here lol, Justin Trudeau lmfao 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @rubenvalente Too cold and a reflexion of nowadays economy, only the richest can afford the rising cost of living. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @chickenbreast1628 you need to move to china for living for a year or 2, and then go back to Canada, you will be thankful for the price of commodities in Canada. form a guy spent 24 years in china. and i was a Trader whos making $50K a years when i was living in china. can't afford to eat salmon and beef, if you insist to do it, you can spend 200 -- 300 a day just by eating. in Canada i can eat salmon and beef three meals a day for the rest my life and won't affect my quality of life. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @Corncan2 hmmm, who would of guessed having out of control immigration would be a bad thing. ? 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @malav_patel The problem is you can eventually build houses...but the jobs remain saturated in handful of pockets so thats another issue. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @seansamuels7131 I never voted for Trudeau. EVER! And before you think I am a CP supporter, I am not. I am not a Conservative. Yet when he came to power I knew it would be a disaster for this country. In the last 10 years Trudeau's Administration--or considered lack thereof--has just devastated us. His Liberal Government is absolutely disgusting. I wish people would have seen that he was never a good choice. He's enabled life in Canada to just collapse. He has not pushed for anything unless the NDP lit fire under his governments behind in the past few years. Yet they can't do everything. The Liberal Gov't consistently has been utterly lethargic in it's response to any urgency confronting Canadians. They are so out of touch and cynical in my mind it isn't funny. One thing I will agree with that the Conservative Party has said is that everything is broken. As a born and raised Canadian I can tell you it doesn't surprise me that people are leaving this place in droves. If I could, I would too. It is a sorrowful state of affairs. I lament what is happening to my country. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @GuavalynnDilla-bd7kk The government should heavily tax second homes and corporate-owned homes and invest the proceeds in affordable housing. We need more regulation, not less. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @walkamile5 All because of mass mumbai immigration 1 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @wqlxcrtyzmwqzxf-t1l The Canadian people told them that they should not pick a leader of the country just by looking at their faces. They learned very well how Canada failed. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @DanBris chairman mao we need you 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @IanTroesoyer @4:20. You should either support this immigrant hypothesis with more information or you should cut it out of your video. Canada is one of the least densely populated major countries and the problem for your housing prices is less than 1M immigrants over the past 2years? And you're going to lead your causes of this problem with that? Give me a break.\nSpend more time on WHY building new houses is not profitable enough and is disincentivized. Talk about how incentivizing home ownership as a wealth building vehicle turned into a bubble and a ponzi scheme as those housing investments outpaced other investments. You know who can still afford to buy up houses, hold them, and prevent the market from deflating? Corporations. Shifting taxes that hurt poor people (like income and sales taxes) onto land value taxes would stop most of this. It would become expensive to sit on vacant investment houses and corporations and landlords would be forced to sell them. 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @operadad the stupid part of this video is the cost increases in Canada is because everyone WANTS to live in Canada!! 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
1 year, 11 months ago @MedicalInterpretationstu-xz4sy Housing needs regulation 0 ZvSNcnG2eqY
