1 year, 10 months ago @jamieharknett9620 To the first guy. How about Canadians having way more babies? But I’m misogynist for saying that. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @mnkwazi The ruling class is using immigrants as cheap labor. They don't care about their well being nor do they care about that of Canadian citizens. They want to bring in about 550K each year going forward when people are suffering. They don't build nearly enough homes or rental units. We don't have enough doctors and nurses. We get paid West Virginia wages but must pay California level housing costs. Diploma mills have sprung up like crazy charging $40,000 for worthless degrees. There are not enough jobs that pay even minimum wage. As a consequence many who immigrate to Canada leave after a year or two. Those smiling faces you see in this video are of those who are don't yet know the truth! 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @jamieharknett9620 This is by design. This is meant to destroy our country. Remember “you will own nothing and you will be happy.” 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @warriorchild No it's not on the rise, it's always been there, First Nations against Europeans. Now the Europeans are beginning to see what the First Nations tried to stand against. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @aucontraire1986 We need to fix housing and infrastructure before immigration can continue. 3 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @aucontraire1986 We need RESPONSIBLE immigration. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @johns9969 12:03 institute of Canadian Citizenship is funded by big banks and the Canadian Gov't. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @aucontraire1986 It’s all fine and well but immigration must keep up with infrastructure and integration to remain sustainable. 2 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @thedagwood1972 We are currently in the midst of a housing crisis in Canada, which is being exacerbated by an immigration policy where the border is wide open without any consideration for the lack of housing, hospital beds, schools, etc. The politicians here had better start paying attention, because what is currently happening in the UK is going to start happening everywhere. 8 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @derpcommander7367 We need to take care of Canadians first 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @larissalange8830 It’s not the immigrants to blame, but the reckless leftist government buying potential votes by selling the wrong picture of what immigrant life will look like and by providing welfare on demand. Many immigrants do not work, but recieve soicial assistance especially once they get children, and eventually they settle into mediocre life and no longer look for work. Our government is dishonest and deprives newcomers of their agency. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @aloud9738 We have alot of different races here, but other than in a job setting the people are very tribal and stick to their own kind. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @sean367 Because we've been invaded. 2 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @ironyusedincorrectly My grandparents on my mom's side came over from Scotland after WW2. They bought one of the cheap plots that were available then, but then my grandfather BUILT their house. He was a tradesman (dual carpentry/electrician certified). Lots of that house is still original, with occasionally new paint, and looks new.\n\nFast forward 75 years and we're importing Business Majors and IT specialists to cities that need construction workers and trades people. The houses being built start falling apart before you finalize the paper work. If you DO have the skills and desire to build something yourself, there's a lengthy approval process ahead of you just to get started.\n\nHope you didn't come here with a medical degree, or a specialized certification. That's another long process to be approved to work here. Doesn't matter if you came from rural China or you worked in the US at a major hospital. \n\nLawyers, lobbyists, politicians, and landlords have destroyed the Canadian dream, and we're all sick and tired of it. I have a lot of sympathy for immigrants sold a lie, who come here and end up homeless or worse, but we can't stop what's happening abroad. We can only change what we do here. 3 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @bd7913 Previous comments indicate there is more to the resistance to immigration that is emerging. To focus almost exclusively on the housing issue is to miss much of the explanation. 2 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @BlackDogBBQ We are lied to about how many we need here every year 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @johns9969 11:35 Daniel Bernhardt lecturing how immigrants are not a issue in a swanky roof top bar is the epitome of an out of touch liberal. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @dawnemile7499 Shows how sensible our government is. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @lisaharrison8754 Immigration does not make Canada ?? a better place it’s destroying the country get real very visible 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @ahsanahmad-v7h I am an immigrant, I have nothing against immigrants. This is gross mismanagement from the liberal government. Why would you let Soo many people come in soo fast in such a short time. \n\nTruth is government doesnt care. It's all about how much money is coming into Canada. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @thedude2596 Every homeless that is not canadian should be returned home. We should allow only people that are doing real immigration demands. Control the numbers and helping those newly arrived ones with jobs and everything. Every is just rushed to failure right now. Plus, governments should put nationnal prices limits on habitations. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @Jean-gf3fi we are OVERRUN and our own population cannot find shelter or jobs!! 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @aloud9738 Taking in too much unskilled people from one region of the world. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @avib4850 I am an immigrant and we came here to live a life that was better than the previously disastrous country we came from, and now these new immigrants are trying to impose the way of life that made their countries disastrous in the first place. If you come to Canada, you live as Canadians do. We are the kindest people on earth so let’s keep it that way! 288 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @fabianstream5463 I’m an immigrant from Europe, who’s been in Toronto for a decade and all I can say is that if this is going to continue to happen, I’ll be the first out of the country in the next couple of years as it’s unsustainable to continue bringing more people from others countries and specially from non western countries as it seems difficult for some to adopt Canadian values. Canada is going down the hill at an unprecedented pace. 14 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @sayedkhalilullahmonib3363 Everything has a limit. Canada is bringing so many Uber drivers 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @Felix-sc8ku My friend left a corporate job and moved to Canada, only to find a job as a laborer in a bakery with a minimum wage. 3 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @mundoblanquiazul3747 NEW WAVE OF IMMIGRANTS ARE LOOKING TO EXPLOIT THE LIBERAL SOCIAL PROGRAMS AND SOFT ON CRIME LAWS IN THE WEST 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @angrajwaghmare5715 5:35 Very very true.\nMy two friends struggled a lot in Canada. Somehow they have managed to come back. One completed his MBA & another quit his studies. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @tarik6990 It hasn't been rising, it's been there for decades and there were several deadly attacks against immigrants as well. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @mariarigsby3056 Yes, my friends, time to go back home 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @nancyneyedly4587 As well as housing, Canada doesn't have the enough doctors or hospitals and staff to deal with more population. Our health care is in crisis. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @scubaguy5389 maybe because there are no more Canadians left. like the US and England. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @lorpis8284 It's amazing how well people have been programmed to associate immigration policy with xenophobia. 1099 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @naturemeditation3751 They should thank western press, trudeau and khalistanis for it ? 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @LukeL685 It is not anti-immigration, it’s anti immigration system cheaters. In some visible minority communities, from CBSA, MPs, immigration consultants, financial institutions (in Canada and abroad), private colleges and private businesses have formed a illegal human trafficking network to smuggle migrants into Canada right under Federal Government eyes. Canada as a whole and Canadian citizens have not been benefited from it. Only people and businesses who are in this network have been profiteering from it. Someone takes bribes, political donations, foreign students related businesses preying on people who want to immigrate to Canada. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @tataatthedisco the problem is quality of immigrants. ones who embrace canadian culture vs ones who dislike it and don't want to work. don't complain and continue to vote the same way. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @lilmilky Liberal Greed Corruption Nepotism Apathy 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @tianming4964 The people I know who are most against our current immigration system are the immigrants themselves or the children of immigrants. Most people here are not against immigrants specifically, they are against the current system and uncontrolled migration. 135 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @mackcummy4976 This story failed to put any numbers plus they mention housing and services but didn't mention the culture change which can be negative. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @ComeOnPeopleThink the elites have a solution to a problem and the western governments are creating the problem for the solution.. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @JacobMarleyInfinite Most people support limited legal immigration. The wide open borders policies in Canada and the US are total failures for everyone. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @Kieran-u5d Probably because there's a rise happening where it's being said no more to immigrants filling already full countries with no to little criminal checks on who's entering and better treatment then the countries citizens on the citizens tax money 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @jody-w4q The Trudeau government is a complete joke 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @kanthan668 Is it true the gov is giving wage subsidies to employers who hire newcomers and new grads? It's a very tough job market out there now. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @Shaftalooooo The reason that you have immigrated to Canada and Speak perfect English doesn’t mean you are not an immigrant.\nCanada ain’t your country either 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @maggiecarden871 People coming to live off govmt benefits 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @nathanvanee4072 Dont forget to THANK YOUR LOCAL LIBERAL! 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @cthree87 Kind of odd for a UK publication to do an expose on Canada's anti-immigration sentiments while there are active anti-immigrant riots in multiple places at home. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @agatadusko9646 10:00 Canada needs more people. A golden thought indeed. so why don't you create the right conditions for that to happen for Canadians already here? the ones in their 20s and 30s. so they can get decent jobs upon graduation, and shelter their little brood in affordable, hygienic, and safe housing around the corner from affordable daycare and maybe a doctor or two in close vicinity 0 txyjmNXcWiU
