1 year, 10 months ago @sirjohng1 It was ALWAYS there but was SUPPRESSED. Now the Canadians realise they do not want to be swamped with these immigrants. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @MTNGear Why is Canada such a bad place that people don't want to raise children there? Wonder if that is the issue to fix 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @RoanHidalgo Everyone here talking about immigration destroying infrastructure. Pretty sure the Indigenous thought the same thing when the Europeans arrived. Life was perfectly fine for the Indigenous, they didnt need Europeans coming into their country 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @OldTechNerd In a nutshell. When the immigrants outnumber Canadians it ceases to be Canada. When more money and support is given to foreigners than Canadians that have paid taxes for their whole lives it's a travesty. Newly landed immigrants have more opportunities than my Canadian born children even though I have paid an insane amount of taxes to Canada my whole life. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @randyoake3495 They got played by Trudeau, Freeland and WEF. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @d.lav.2198 Hello Guardian. Are you actually going to listen now?? 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @mrsmkjb2411 Wait…didn’t you steal Canada from the real owners??? Canada did not belong to you! So now you’re the real guys and busy calling others “immigrants”,??!! 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @cketchum Hello @JustinTrudeau please watch thanks 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @daylightmoon7285 Xenophobia is not the issue. Stop calling normal, average people xenophobic, racist, blah, blah blah... It is about treating native Canadians with basic respect as citizens. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @charleswain3221 The government told people that there is a housing shortage AND let in a record number of new people. How are people supposed to react? Imagine if there was a famine and the leader said “hey, let’s go share our food with somebody else”. You can’t reasonably expect people not to react this way given the narrative that the government itself is putting forth. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @JJJJ-gl2uf The lack of public infrastructure and government failure on that front is most definitely a huge problem. But large numbers of immigrants, refugees, and temporary foreign workers is a different part of the same problem. They are intertwined and cannot be separated from one another. Governments at all levels have failed us. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @lodgee So unless high immigration levels continue (at any rate deemed acceptable by those in favour), the very idea of Canada is in doubt. \n\nHow absurd and insulting. 2 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @mattfrankman The Trudeau Liberals have used immigration to keep top line GDP numbers high. What people don’t talk about are GDP per capita figures falling below 2014 levels. Gen Z Canadians are the first generation in the history of the nation to have had worse living standards than their parents. \n\nEngland is a window into the future. Lets wise up and make some changes before it’s too late. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @mantrapalsingh 4.9 only real of Canada whose can say I'm canadian but others should be self check and if doubt there ask own grandparents or read history books who is actual immigrants. Actual problem is not immigrants actual problem is High inflammation buying capacity is now lesser rather than past unemployment and government policies. Don't blame immigrants again 4.9 percent only people real native. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @j0n.p It's pretty simple: too many people have been allowed in, specifically from 2 or 3 countries, at too high a rate. Jobs and housing cannot keep up. On top of that, the culture that is brought over is not compatible with current western values. We're forced to feel like strangers in their own country. Crime has also gone way up. This is happening all over the West. You'd almost think there was a plan. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @Devalue-q3u The news always reports negative instead of making assumption of positive developments 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @kaze987 Follow the money. From immigration consultants abroad to universities profiting from international students rates 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @facehugger3 Perhaps they don't want to be a minority and be treated as second class citizens in their own country? 8 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @ArunMozhiDevan3 This is how the native Canadians felt while the European colonisers immigrated from there. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @daytrader-iy5yb Way too many East Indian immigrants coming in such a short period of time. 3 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @rayk6449 Immigration isn’t the problem but the rate it happened in last 4-6 years. Lots of loop holes that re being taken advantage of. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @daytrader-iy5yb It's because way too many East Indian immigrants all coming in the recent year and make Canada looks like India now. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @sharnavrhowec8152 You have to blame the management it all starts at the top so they've got to take the heat 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @cucumber1004 Immigrants from India takes 32% of the total immigrants. We need more balanced intake of immigrants from various sources. 170 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @statmonster Per capita GDP in Canada has been falling as immigration rises. Remove the real estate bubble from the calculation and the decline is even starker. Canada has absurdly low capital investment (outside of real estate) leading to declining productivity per worker. Without drastically curbing immigration to tighten up the labor market real wages will continue to fall. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @redvertex333 The main issue isn't just the number of immigrants, but also the quality and the criteria for entry. When I immigrated 10 years ago, there was a rigorous process involving thorough document checks, including verification of university degrees and skills. Now, it seems that the requirements have become non existent simple visitor visa. People can apply for jobs here and if accepted, they can easily change their visa status to a worker. If not, in most cases, people simply go illegal and maybe pay for lawyer. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @techworld746 Agenda 2030 clearly why they let more ppl in 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @ssa1460 Immigrants which came back 10 to 20 years and settled in Canada, currently worried about their own child future and job. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @marilynreichert507 I live in BC, have lived in my community and owned a home here for 47 years. At my local Walmart I rarely hear English spoken, even by employees. One time, the cashier held up an item to the white woman in front of me, and asked her in broken English, “what is this called” to which she replied “celery” and he asks “how to spell?” so he could key it in. He did that with several items. While serving me, another Walmart employee comes over and speaks to him NOT in English, for 3 min, while I’m waiting to be served. I calmly said “excuse me, this is Canada and we speak English in Canada.” This happens all the time. Very annoying. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @grapeee8104 Maybe canada need to rethink about their leadership 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @KikiSashimi I was fortunate to relocate to the Canada a few years ago. Witnessing the social issues exacerbated by ineffective immigration policies, I can understand why Canadians might feel frustrated. I'm always eager to engage with the community, but I found that many Canadians are reluctant to discuss politics or care about what is going on in their neighborhoods, and the voting rate in city elections are very low. A few months ago, I shared a city government survey designed to collect residents' opinions about the next 5-year development plan with some friends, but only one out of five showed interest in participating.\nI hope that more Canadians will take advantage of their democratic system to drive change and shape her into the country they want to live in. Back in my home country, we couldn’t vote for our government, so having democracy is a privilege—please use it wisely while you can!\nNote: I am grateful that the Canadians I’ve met have been very welcoming. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @itcu185 11:09 snakeoil is being sold, guy has a vested interest as he makes money off immigration like a human trafficker on the USA MEXICO border 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @SanguineYoru why are asian and arab countries never criticized for their far more strict immigration policies by our western media? 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @JamesHolbrook-eh5sp Gee, could it be because Canadians have been exposed to unrestrained immigration too quickly for the immigrants to assimilate? Because of the pressure on public services? Because a lot of the immigrants don't share the same cultural values? When you live and work in a little cultural bubble you won't understand any of this. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @Pain-rk7hu These people are mad at capitalism. 0 txyjmNXcWiU

1 year, 10 months ago @ditarnavska9542 How is the uncontrolled immigration going to make this country prosperous? What are they talking about? 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @willankhatter I'm not even Canadian, but I think Canadians are tired of a lackluster economy and Indian diversity among others... 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @KLG777 I have lost my respect for Canada. In fact i no longer consider myself a Canadian. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @bonsummers2657 The most special thing is ethno-racial segregation. Really. On a country-wide scale. Countries which are of an ethno-racial identity, different from other countries.\nThat makes precious regional distinction,…. which makes precious world diversity. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @Maks4739i Canada is way overrated. I've spent so many years living there and now I am back in my country of birth. I regret immigrating to Canada 20 years ago. All those years that I've spent living in Canada I consider as waste of time. It turns out that I can make more money in my country of birth than in Canada. And it's safer than Canada. Western countries like Canada or US are just overhyped. 3 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @bonsummers2657 There is not Canadian culture if it's open immigration with people from all over the world. It's just a global economic entity. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @financialinfo7727 You cannot build indefinitely, so to blame only new housing builds is wrong. The truth is: immigration should always be controlled and limited and people vetted for anti-western values. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @AK-wt3jj First of all you wiped out indigenous people of Canada and living in their land. So you should also ready to pack your bags 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @alphie20 I have been (mostly) a life long Liberal living in Toronto. I can honestly say, the Trudeau Liberal government has been the worst government at any level I have lived under - including Mike Harris and Bob Rae. Justin Trudeau likes to cut ribbons and make big announcements and spend time on the completely wrong priorities for Canadians. We need a government focused on the economy and the things it takes to build a thriving 21st century economy. Yes, it takes immigrants and those people will need the basics: a job, food, shelter and services. Instead we get dental care, pharm care, daycare - all these things we can't afford and that do very little to build out a thriving economy we need. We have lost decades due to poor planning of our governments and now we all must suffer. It will take generation to fix this, meanwhile our competing countries will all pass us. I will rue Justin Trudeau and his incompetent Ministers and enablers for the rest of my life. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @prajithk123 I suggest one option of household of three options in Canada, 1- Paying Guest System of building in just like Bangalore to built and give students including Food and Accommodation, 2 - Expand the Canada infrastructure into village in parts of canada and give more people of staying and safely, 3- Expand the all retails and whole distribution of goods and services in online way just like Amazon to expand in Villages of canada. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @bonsummers2657 @ 7:58 It's not egregious, it's the truth. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
