1 year, 10 months ago @gregpost3320 When my son and his friends come home from university and can't find a summer job, we've got a problem. Especially when those potential jobs are being taken by non-Canadian students who've been here sometimes less than year. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @Chris-wk7xq because why do only the white countries need to take in immigrants with no limits. why? it just doesnt make sense like idc you are fleeing some prosecution in your country 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @todude-xq2ct Too many immigrants. The left tries to silence common sense people from speaking out by labeling anyone who rightfully wants immigration numbers to drop to sustainable levels as racist etc. This narrative must stop. Common sense and the well being of actual Canadians must once again prevail! Tax dollars to get Canadians off the streets not to house thousands of immigrants in hotels. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @onca6270 Hello from England brothers 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @generaljackripper666 Because native Canadians are being forcefully replaced with foreigners.\nSee? It's a very easy question to answer. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @Wolf-hd1hr Don't blame the immigrants, blame the Government. 3 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @shawncormier52 What a misinformed out of touch with reality video. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @weweweLit not even about race, its simplify just numbers, too much people flooding the gates 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @Cassidy3333 Im a teenager living in Toronto and its hard seeing rent for my cramped apartment go up when its already hard for family to pay. The only way I think I can be happy is to move away as so many people come in to the country I hold dear. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @weweweLit have u guys seen the line at service Canada? ? 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @cindyseni In a matter of years Trudeau has ruined one of the richest countries on earth into poverty 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @johnnypersaud6877 You can take the man out of the gutter but you can't take the gutter out of the man 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @amyrpy5936 What do you expects when un controlled immigration coming into your country nd no one is there to take there accountability. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @MauraQuish Immigration is way too high….and India seems to be the priority for immigration dept. the infrastructure does not exist to support this influx. The quality of immigrants has deteriorated. The liberal government has mismanaged immigration and international students to the point citizens are being evicted for developers to rebuild or renovate for new immigrants. It’s disgusting…. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @butwhytharum We need quality immigration not just flood everyone in... 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @alvinorojas-leon1348 I heard most of families in Canada only have one or two children. They need immigrants to keep their way of living and us immigrants bring family members, friends, family. decisions are made to stay and this is a problem we have 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @AnasAhmedNazeer Just stop visas from one country. Half problems are gone 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @JobSternAzevedo People are fighting each other without realizing that the real problem has always been the growing capital accumulation since the 1960s, which has led first-world countries to face this issue nowadays. Most politicians don't want people to stand up against the wealthy, better to have an easy target than to face the actual problem.\n Eat the rich! 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @opiniwise So import loads of people, theh work and live like slaves. Who benefit? large corporations and elite universities, \nSo suffers?\nEverybody \nThe Canadian dream is a lie!!! 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @MarquePierreSondergaard Canada needs half a million new workers brought in every year to function. Not happy about that? Have more Canadian babies, and quickly please! But housing? Different beast. How much of this is because of foreign (Chinese) investments snapping up scores of apartments, just to park money? Apartments that will not be used for housing people. That is why housing costs have been driven up. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @MuhammadHassan-hj6mx I'm an immigrant myself and I agree that the current infrastructure cannot support the amount of people coming in.\nThere is also a need to vet people more carefully, as otherwise we are just importing criminals (and their criminal relations) 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @maggot1111666 i dont think anybody would care if people were coming and homesteading and starting new towns in canada's vast open lands. but they are coming to already crowded cities and bogging everything down 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @KeirnothVT Gee, I wonder why The Guardian. Could it be leftist trash outlets like yours is pushing it as though it's some sort of virtuous thing when it actually HURTS first world nations?! 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @pas69tie ginvenchy on the delivery drivers says it all..... 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @ninocalifa This government is completely disconnected with reality. They are causing the problems we have right now. The petty crime rate is growing like crazy where I live. I am an immigrant from Brazil. I am having to deal with issues that I had back there which was unthinkable before this crazy immigration rate. Also the majority of immigration is from one or two countries. How does that improve diversity? We are creating ghettos and all the problems associated to it. We bring so many people from the same culture that it is becoming our culture. Very soon, we will have to adapt. This is crazy and irresponsible. The problem is not immigration, is the way we are doing immigration under JT. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @diwaniealinabon That is why me and my husband are moving out of canada. Canada is getting worst. Im scared for my kids. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @reptileman97 Remember this when its time to vote. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @tonyblundeto4000 Nevermind the scapegoating, only 2 things can get us out of this, less people coming in and more housing. So the governement feel the pressure to build more and the people feel the pressure to leave. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @studiocelestedesign Terrible take. Shame on you. Why don’t you do research before you frame that the main issue is immigrants. You make zero mention about how developers and investment owners are given useless perimeters about what to build (they’re mostly all building unaffordable luxury condos, even before materials and labour were so high) and zero restrictions on shockingly greedy rental pricing. Airbnbs are also still a problem even with revised rules. The issue is with our City Halls and their ineptitude. Stoking a fire about this BS is only going to bring more violence on immigrants so I hope you’re willing to be accountable for that. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @synewparadigm À constant destruction of the western civilization ? 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @winifredclarke1977 Too little too late\nCanada lost 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @scottjones4888 just to many immigrants here plain simple we are full 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @JohnJ-p7o Canada's broken ? This one watch too many pierre poillievre videos 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @Atilla066 This country not the same country 23 years ago is highly professional immigration officials and better policy WCB-bc \nI’m talking about as much as my experience and what I been go trough lately and 23 years age \nThe government officials and offices are all corrupt now days \nThey just robbing us the immigrants as modern day slavery \nPromising one thing but not serving the way they should 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @hadihassan372 You let immigrants in because you didn't want to work and upskill yourself. Now the skilled immigrants pay high taxes so your previous generation can retire on their backs ... 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @frankstared Because we have seen the toll of decades of neoliberal polices offshoring decent jobs, attacking unions, reducing social services, and hastening immigration while the numbers of unhoused and alienated grow. Look underneath Canadian highways and overpasses and you will see the native-born refugees of neoliberalism and neoconservatism shut out of prosperity while the environment increasingly is polluted and degraded. All of this for an entitled generation but mostly for the top 30-40% of the income bracket. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @chrisbronson5341 There is no more room .\nThat's it . Work out the problems in your own countries and certainly\nDo not come here for the\nDream . 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @Todayyespresentno don't worry, 30% of immigrants leave the country after getting Canadian citizenship 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @kenziecampbell4605 Probably because of the two tier policing like in Britain 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @dustinDraig You'd think that with all these immigrants you'd have quite a labor force to build the needed houses, but still they are not building enough housing. Maybe that's not the immigrants' fault, maybe keeping a small housing supply benefits people in power. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @ICallItAsItIs It's not racism! It's regular people who want to protect their way of life. A way of life that made their country great. If the roles were somehow reversed and Brits went to middle-eastern countries, didn't conform to the culture and lifestyle, and then started turning their host countries into something that resembled Western countries, these middle-easterners would have rioted decades ago! 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @adscri A clueless government led by Trudeau abandoned the normal policy, which resulted in flooding the country with new arrivals - man on student visas and temporary work permits. Heath care services are already overstretched. Rental housing shortage causing rent hikes. Absolutely nuts. Clueless! 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @CogedorDeTuzamapan One of the wealthiest countries in the World? Don’t make me laugh. Canada is a Third World country with poor quality healthcare, poor infrastructure and unreasonable taxes. We get robbed blind by an incompetent government; where accountability does not exist. why does my High paying Taxes get me? NOTHING at all; at least, nothing tangible. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @lindaostrom570 too many coming in at once do not have the chance to assimilate into our culture. too many at once creates a shadow country where pple stay with the familiar and of course want to replicate what they are familiar with. this isnt rocket science its common sense. being against current immigration practices doesnt mean anti immigrant. in a way everyone is being set up here. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @lloydh7803 Some very made up facts in this show when check the government websites. Very sloppy reporting. 1 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @noahboy7309 Because of Trump 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @Jonathon1031 They see what’s happening to America also. Our countries can’t support millions of immigrants every year. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @anyalaskin7108 This piece is misleadingly titled. It's not that Canadians are anti-immigration. It's that the Government is not preparing the country for the influx of the immigration it's attracting. There's no housing, there's no schooling, there's no social structures in place to support the newcomers. Canadians are not against immigration. Canadians are against mismanaged social structures and lack of leadership in running the country in a sensible way. 138 txyjmNXcWiU
1 year, 10 months ago @MRide3000 Uhhhhh. Because quality of life is plummeting for Canadians. Its not rocket science. 0 txyjmNXcWiU
