Canada is a huge country! It’s not just Toronto and Vancouver. There is plenty of real estate to be had at affordable prices in Winnipeg, Regina, Moncton, etc. but there is no incentives for immigrants to move to these other spaces. |

I thought the whole concept of Canadian immigration is to seek new settlements in other provinces that are lacking population. I wonder if the government are doing that to put immigrants in those provinces and to build a strong Canadian society, with a strong-hold economically throughout the country. But that includes having the immigrants agreeing to setup bases in rural areas that needs a build-up. It's literally a settlers 2.0. But I see that as an escape from another place that has nothing. No is pressured to doing anything, it's just being transparent in what will happen. And in another way, the citizens of Canada will see it as giving into the country. |

Migrants are not the reason of high prices, i know average people don't know economy and they believe it...The main reason of high prices is unlimited money printing by governments , their parents were enjoying and young Canadians need to pay the bill, i am sorry guys but this is the reality. |

Its math.....look at the people immigrating and the shortage of homes. The Canadian manufacturing and agricultural sectors have declined to limited relevance. You can't run an economy on retail, real estate, services and debt. Almost half the economy how is public sector spending. That's not sustainable. |

How is the government failing immigrants? Why move to another country if you don't have money to begin with? If your goal when moving to another country is receiving governement checks then you shouldn't be moving countries. They failed themselves by not adequately preparing themselves for such a big move in life. Moving countries costs a lot of money, doing so without proper funds is just foolhardy and they are to blame, not the government. |

Migration is a big decision that one should do a lot of study and preparation. You should have known and prepared for the high living cost and crazy tax in Canada. Migrating under prepared deserves no sympathy. |
