1 year, 8 months ago @linhl4710 Besides housing, cost of living, etc, my main thorn with the newer refugees AND immigrants are that they refuse to assimilate. No one is telling you to discard your religion or culture. But something as simple as fishing with a permit (instead of taking your entire clan to go empty out a river whenever you like in disregard to size/amount/seasonal regulations), waiting for people to dismount from a bus or train BEFORE you push your way into it, not trashing the entire downtown core every single night way into the early morning with loud music while people are trying to sleep, actually learning the language and not giving an attitude when someone gently tells you that their order is wrong, and so on. \n\nMany cultures and generations before you have done it and are embraced for their differences. This is will settle the excess that has got in and after 2029, Canada should resume International students. This will fix job crisis as it is imposible to get a job at Tim Hortons, AW, Subway and all franchise businesses. Just 5 year ban on any student who is not Canadian. This ban should be done in very thoughtful manner without insulting any country, citizenship, race, gender or anything. 1 year, 8 months ago @MrChandrabala when I came to the west 10 years ago.. for immigrants that was a opportunity.. we stayed on our best behavior and often out worked citizens and always gave our 110%. the amount of stress we took to keep a job, to stay in college and work 40hrs job on the side... the extra hours we spent at work to just give our best. all my work is for nothing.... its like the govt has spat in our face and opened the flood gates... 1 txyjmNXcWiU

Its the immigrants themselves faking and gaming trying to do anyting possible to get PR...a lot of that has to do with their home country cashing in on programs and promise BS only to get paid. Majority of the influx is south east asia from Pakistan, Bangaldesh and India in general taking up all the low end labour that students used to be the ones employed in those positions. Has immigration increased for the past decades? If yes, to what extend? Who are the immigrants? How do they integrate into the Canadian society?
