ok fine, quintessential Canada vid, 15+ min video about leaving Canada, almost 12 mins of how great Canada is, and then no mention of where you're moving to, total waste of time so what was the purpose of this video?, and far out you say privileged far too much, you worked and stayed true to your dreams/goals, thats not privileged, stop with the 'Canada is so great' if it is then why are you leaving? I'm an expat living in New Zealand and its great here, sure some not so great things, but you make your own life, its not privilege....

I like how well balanced and reasoned your video was. Canada certainly isn't the same country it was barely 10 years ago - many, many, many people are saying this. Like yourself, I too am planning on leaving, and like you, am awaiting processing of paperwork by a foreign bureaucracy. All the best to you. These probably happened but your vid is creating fear and not informative. Canada is a welcoming country, and visa officers are trained to be friendly and not aggressive. As soon as you land in Canada, get your information straight. Know why you are here, where you will be staying and for how long. Do not approach the border officers with fear or panic as this video is trying to make you feel.Canada doesn’t just set people aside for deportation at the airport. Once you land in Canada you are protected by Canadian law and international law on immigrants . A visa officer will not warn you of overstaying your visa (if you overstay you won’t be granted visa next time) no officer will tell you that. That’s not their job. People can be set aside for proper screening or scrutiny but that doesn’t mean they are being set aside for deportation. Deportation has a procedure and it’s a costly process even for the Canadian government.These are assumptions. You are exaggerating! Don’t be afraid people, Canada is a beautiful and welcoming country. Information on your application has to match information you give in your questioning. If they don’t match then suspicion is aroused.Even if it doesn’t , they are so many explanations you can give as to why ( stress, airsick,tired, confused ,hungry cus of the long flight) officers will give you time to cool off and come to you later. If it gets to the worst, invoke your rights as an international immigrant and ask for entry to Canada being a safe country as a refugee claimant . Officers can’t deport you if you claim asylum at the border, they have to follow due process and your case must be heard by a judge. Create information, not fear!

Housing costs are crazy here in Toronto...I lost my apt ...(740 sq. ft. - one bedroom)...which I had in Etobicoke at the end of Covid Jan. 2022 ...( My rent started at $940/month in 2016 and to just a tad over $1000/month in 2022. I Was on welfare during Covid 2020-2022)... Welfare only pays $733 for a single male (Welfare recipients weren't eligible for that CERB that paid every 2 weeks so I had to sell most of my furniture and cherished antiques to survive...Lost my apt...couldn't afford it anymore and I ended up in my sister's basement for 3 months but moved to a rooming house in the east end of Toronto at the end of April. Thank God that I got a job working in a hospital as a janitor...Still, I pay $650 a month for a room that is about 75 square feet....I've seen closets bigger...I share 4 washrooms and one laundry room with one washer and dryer and a laundry tub (This is the main source of water for cooking) with 26 other roomers...There is no kitchen and no lounge area...So yeah Housing is Fuked Up here in Toronto!... I was so close to being homeless...I do not work full-time. I am only on-call so I am at least able to make ends meet but still, it's hard surviving here in the big city...I was born here and grew up here and this city may have changed on the surface but beneath it, it's rotting to the core and it's getting worse every day!.... Canadas system is miles better then the US's thats for D**n sure. \n\nBut u are missing a major point here. One is to be a citizen to Canada and one is to be a citizen to the US. A country that is the world leader in GDP and Profits. \nCanada is making it super easy cause no one wants to go there as there isnt really anything there to strive for. \n\nI hate America just like most liberals do but the right wing puppets do have one thing going for them America is one of the biggest super powers on the planet. I think you're on to a lot about my Country, but you are not being 100% truthful in the 'racism' section. The Quebec banning of ALL religious symbols is only for government employees. It is not against any single religion but making the province a-religious. You can call it racism, but it is not, in the truest sense. Also, the Leadership of RBC has MANY non-English names!!! Why did you gloss over that? Also you said any bank, I looked up CIBC and TD Canada Trust after watching your vid and they have lots of diversity. You are clearly happy to gloss over these points that do not fit with your narrative.

Nova Scotia, the best fishes are there. Alberta definitely have what's best for lungs.\nlol very cheap rent in Montreal, of course if you like black mushroom, mold and wall made from paper. Yes it's cheaper but you get what you pay for. I lived in 4 provinces each one have good and bad points (as stated in the vid) the choice have to made carefully because the chances to be stuck for years into something you don't like is very high. In fact the 3 main points to look for are: Water, trees and rocks, choose what you like the most and make the most of it. About industries and technologies, Canada is so far behind the G7 that it doesn't worth the shot to aim for it.
