I am an international student in canada doing hons finance and doing my cfa this sem. do I think all indians are bad.. no not at all, but the ones that push their religion on others are most definetly bad and lack at civic sense. I am an indian, genuinely speaking, when I came here back in 2023, I didn’t know there are so many people from one of the indian state called punjab. They have ruined this place as well as image of all Indians. Also, If you want khalistan, why they are not protesting in where their land belongs(so called), why in Canada or Usa? There are 70% of the people are living in canada is punjabi. They have ruined the image of our whole country. We are peace loving people and follow rules but just because of these people, we fell into the same group. Fun fact: why brampton and surrey have bad reputation and increased crime rates because punjabi people live there. Thats heart wrenching. The other aspect is the Canadian government doing nothing to curb thia types of people instead of that these people do crime, get arrested, claim asylum, get free food for 1 year and become the resident of the Canada. Please don't say indian I feel ashamed, the so called invaders are from punjab which is the north part of india who speaks Hindi. We are from south most tip of india :kerala we don't invade any country we blend with other country's culture. And we speak "malayalam" as our language. I feel this video does cover what's happening but don't answer the question why its happening. Here's what i think- To start with - A major population of indian immigrants in Canada come from two provinces/states - Punjab and Gujarat. From Punjab - Most of the population who migrates to Canada are villagers. They are notoriously famous in Punjab cities as well for creating trouble. They have no civic sense, always getting involved in illegal stuff, some use drugs, no etiquettes, poor hygiene and very arrogant sometimes. Another thing, Canadian government over the years stopped taking in-person interviews and got lenient with rules for gaining a visa especially for students which doesn't make sense and one should be catious so of what kind of people they are letting in their country. This leads to letting in a bunch of wrong people who are already a troublemaker in Punjab and then represents a bad of side of Indians. A side note - Every Indian province is very very different and not all people are same in India. It's definitely a shit situation which shows Canadian government definitely needed a better way to handle immigration. A lot of international students has been exploited by the system as well if you get to know from there point of view as well. Seeing the thumbnail and title of this video shows what kind of a person Tyler is. Without a proper research and understanding, he just made a video to appease people who hates on Indians. Title says Invasion, is he for real? I see way more Chinese immigrants here in Canada than any other nationality. Punjabi Indians are to be blamed as for creating a bad picture for themselves but hating on whole country without knowing them feels prejudiced. I hope whoever is reading to really open their eyes and understands that this is a government failure for not having strict rules and regulations. Indians have been immigrating to Canada for more than 100 years but you see them as a problem now due to last 8 years of bad decisions. Last thing, you see more Indians in Tim Hortons and mock them, is that a bad thing on loving and supporting a Canadian brand? Definitely poor english speaking employees is a problem, but that is a management issue. Just a small word here. Khalistan sikh are not Indian Sikh. They are people who are wanted for various crimes even in India. They have criminal records and India has been requesting Canadian government to deport some of these people to undergo trial in India but Trudeau govt under jagmeet Singh did not agree and so you have crimes happening in Canada but the bad name goes to India. I live in Brampton born and raised. Indians are generally nice people but this new generation of immigrants that came around covid time were different. Working at places like Walmart now feels like a job not meant for us Canadians. Entire work place blasting Punjabi music and speaking in another language. Imagine feeling foreign in your own country while trying to work.

These are Punjabis who are closer to ethnic Pakistanis than Indians. Most of these punjabis aren't hindu, and don't like hindu. Don't associate them with Indians. They treat Indians horribly, and aren't hardworking, smart, or educated like Indian diasporic community. As an Indian Muslim, most Indians do not like these people. Hindus and Muslims don't behave like these Sikhs.

Fast forward to today, the movement is now a tsunami with people from Punjab moving in large numbers. Why ? Because of the Khalistan movement, Punjab got destroyed economically (it was the richest state in India) as a result people are forced to move out. And the best place is their second Punjabi 🫣🫣 ie. Khalistani homeland Canada.

If you go to Canada, you will mostly see Punjabi people there. I don’t know why Punjabi people have become so obsessed with Canada. They mostly refer to going to Canada. They don’t even work properly or look for jobs in India; they just prefer going to Canada. I don’t know what kind of jobs they get there. Some of them go there depending on relatives, and some go illegally, which is completely wrong. Because I want to say one true thing about Indian people: there is very little civic sense in India. Yes, if they belong to the upper class, then they may have some civic sense, but in the lower and middle class, civic sense is very low. That’s why wherever they go, they behave the same way they think, without caring that they are in another country. They don’t care about respecting that country or adjusting to its culture. Instead, they try to impose their own culture everywhere. They want to create their own space everywhere and put their own things everywhere. But if foreigners come to India and live here permanently, they just do their work and live normally. Even if they do something publicly to promote their own culture, Indians will immediately go against them. But I haven’t seen the same reaction outside. People there should also oppose this; otherwise, Indians will really spread everywhere in the same way.

As a legal immigrant who migrated here with a nuclear family only on merit, I believe I earn the privilege to voice my thoughts here. First of all, rather than blaming the hoards of Indian immigrants, why don't anyone ask questions to the people who allowed it? Why not ask the politicians who vetoed it? Why not ask the police who is not able to stop reckless drivers? Why not ask the minister's who allow hospitals to run under staffed? USA has a massive Indian diaspora. But they are mostly IT workers and CEOs and Doctors. So who was at mistake of bringing illiterate, uncouth Indians to Canada? After earning all the required merit, and paying as much taxes from my family that is equivalent to minimum wages of at least 4 people, it hurts me to see undeserving people taking benefits of the system, while we get the short end. No one seemed too concerned when Indian students brought in so much money and revived some dead economies. No one blamed thousands of Punjabi businesses bringing in dollars into the economy. India, with its 150 billion people has s#!to eaters and people who can buy out Canada. You only see the bad. Press the government to bring in good people. Doctors, engineers, lawyers, scientists, business people, who will add value to the country and generate you jobs and salaries and grow this country. Not cooks and drivers only. I love Punjabi people, they are high class and they surprise me when they tell me they were farmers before coming to canada because I don't get that rugged vibe from them. That guy at 2:50 was purhaps the most honest 'white' guy you will meet. The fact is Indians didn't take over, the upper class just decided to move north to Bolton or more west to the Halton area. Over time enough Indians replaced them to basically take over important roles like police officers and political positions. Eventually just like East Asians have Markham and parts of Scarborough, the south Asians had a high enough population for Brampton to be considered their home turf. Eventually though it was the student visas that drove Canadians crazy. Millions of students in record time and I believe there was an additional 4 million who came on temporary work visas during covid, eventually Canadians got annoyed. Personally I don't see any problem with it as long as we keep building apartments and homes for the new immigrants to rent and live it doesn't bother me. I would like to see three times more immigration especially from Europe as this country is super underpopulated and we need people to open factories and build companies that will strengthen Canada as a whole and employ our own not just send money back to their countries. So its not an invasion we just need come to a place of understanding and learn to work together. I will finish with the one negative; there truly is a massive lack of assimilation and this may prove to be more of a problem than we realize but I won't go into it. Indians have been in Canada for a very long time. Many came from Punjabi closer to colonial times. The racism in the comments is inexcusable. People of all different backgrounds commit crimes , public nuisances, etc. and the complaining of dominating every industry? I’m not sure what angle that is. Maybe the other groups should do better at dominating industries or advocate for businesses to hire other Canadians (equal opportunity employment). Whats not fair is that they came here for a better life and now our quality of life has suffered. Break down from a Canadian who moved to the US. Basically, Indians moved to Brampton because it was a cheaper area, yet close enough to Toronto. Immigrants drove taxi or drove truck usually were paid in cash, leading to tax evaluation. So they were able to save more... They were able to buy a bigger house for cheaper basically. New immigrants move to Brampton probably cause it easier. They don't need to assimilate as much as they sued to. They can speak their own language, not have to learn another, etc. You can actually see certain immigrant groups take to certain cities for the reasons above. Vaughn is Italian, Etobicoke was multi cultural, now Somalian(last I visited), sauga is Arab, etc The universities are a big scam, and the govt is part of it. They don't care cause they get money.... People create these fake colleges and bring in students. Students have "online" classes and so they don't actually go in . In Canada ur allowed to work 20 hours as a student, but all work more under the table. And yes. As a Punjabi, there is too many Indians. It was too many when I left.
