With the price of homes it was expected a long time ago that crime would explode. Even people with jobs are having a hard time to get a home. And the really good jobs like pilot, surgeon, long shoreman. Are really hard to get. Its no wonder crime is up. If the government doesnt address the price of homes or help make it easier to become a Surgeon so that we can be able to own a home. Crime will continue to tick upwards pretty sure. 70s home in Vancouver 4 bedroom is 1.9 million unrenovated old carpet old fixtures etc on a tight lot can easily see into neighbors house since its so close.

Please help me understand why mass migration is considered beneficial. I believe globalization has very significant drawbacks. My primary concern is for my fellow Canadians "ONLY." It seems that the increase in new residents is driven largely by political motives, as new migrants often support the Liberal Party due to the benefits they receive upon arrival. Both the Liberal government in Canada and the Democrats in the United States appear to be aware of this trend. Regardless of political affiliation—whether Liberal, Conservative, Green, or any other party—if my party were to adopt such a policy, I would oppose it. Canadians really need to wake up. We need responsible citizenship that upholds and strengthens our Canadian culture and values.

But is at fualt for this, is the level in which the people coming sometimes do know the fruad going on through the government and seem to tihnk they are entitled. One thing to highlight with not seeing any homeless Indians in that first seen is not that Indians are causing others to be homeless - rather, they are willing to help family out to prevent homelessness! When we first came here (20+ years ago from Ethiopia), we couldn’t find work and faced homelessness. Our extended family came thru and let the 4 of us stay in a small 1 bedroom in the basement until we could get on our feet. By having a room to be safe in, we avoided a lot of the consequences of homelessness that would have made getting back on our feet exponentially difficult. What I have found shocking now to see as a Canadian of 20+ years is my non-immigrant Canadian friends who will watch quietly as their family members fall under the poverty line and towards homelessness, avoiding inviting them in to not “disrupt their peace” at home. I’ve had random family of friends stay with me in hard times to avoid them being on the street while my generally kind friends (at least to others!) did not take them in. This individualistic mindset of the West really means if you have a low point in life, you will plummet to rock bottom…. Ofc homelessness and poverty is multifaceted but a more collective approach to community would also reduce the burden!

This is terrible and I don't understand why the government would only take Indian students about 90% of the international students were from India and uneducated and non-verified credentials. I don't understand was the government too much worried about the money they will be bringing I don't understand like this has the real Cause of the trouble for everyone why you only would take so much of the Indian students why not the rest of the world if you really want to help your new your universities to pay off their salaries and run and those new Indian breed that is coming they are really not ready to come to the Canada illiterate people.

I think MAID could help you. That didn’t come from a left-wing source as many right wing folks will say that it’s the left who wants to euthanize disabled people. That came from someone from a right leaning source. So writer left nobody wants to pay for anyone to have a free ride, even if the ride isn’t really free. I live on $800 a month and I am much too disabled to work and I don’t have family. In addition, I’ve been told I’m not eligible for rent gear to income, but it’s not like I’m going to get well. Anyway, it seems people don’t like to put out for others and I get it because the folks at the top are always happy to see the little guys tear each other apart. None of our politicians have ever voluntarily Given up a pay cut to support those who can’t work any longer or who never could. That would be the pro life thing to do. They’re always voting themselves big raises.

There is absolutely no value, principle, moral or ethic he wouldn't betray without hesitation if he suspects there is anything at all to be gained - you know, the type of guy who would poison the entire neighborhood in order to hoard all the complimentary tampons and lip gloss samples from his neighbors' mail boxes just to ensure that he got first dibs on everything before anyone else. Incidentally, he is also the same type of guy who pockets all the flavored mini coffee creamers from the gas station and all the paper bed sheets and Qtips from the doctor's office. I wouldn't put it past him to steal the waitresses' tips off tabletops on his way out the door upon leaving McDonald's. In fact, I would bet everything that he steals the donation jars for Jerry's Kids at the local supermarket. I mean, its already a given that he is likely the guy who filed a lawsuit a few summers back against a sweet, innocent littls FOUR year old boy for having a lemonade stand on property not zoned for commercial use. If it wasn't Trump then I'm sure it's only because he was too busy ordering the National Guard to power hose and pepper spray the 30 or so elderly nuns who had been distributing bottled water to folks demonstrating in support of Black Lives Matter on the hottest day of the year. Satisfied in his victorious battle against the nuns - 9 of whom had been hospitalized for critical injuries including the 92 year old Mother Superior who suffered massive brain bleed, swelling and concussion due to the excessive force of the power hose and an 87 year old nun who lost permanent sight in one eye due to the pepper spray - Trump had the nerve to pose for a publicity shot in front of the church while holding a Bible - UPSIDE DOWN - and scrunching and contorting his face into that hideous trademark scowl he does ever so naturally. Yep. This is the man my fellow Americans chose to represent our nation as President - a man who beats up 90 year old nuns and imposes 25% tax hikes to our ONLY FRIEND in the entire world simply for refusing to accept his invitation for statehood. I mean, come on, Trudeau, is that really asking too much of you? Was it really worth bruising Donny's fragile little ego and sending him into a fit of rage? I was questioning PM Trudeau for his foreign relationships and dealing with Khalistan separatists and straining Canada's relationship with India. But this speech changed that perception. I like how he addresses the very issue. Crystal clear and a very matured leader I would now change my position about him. This trade war will really hurt both sides. It may help govt as businesses will pay more on sales taxes. But it will ultimately hurt the consumers, especially middle and low income folks on both sides of the border a big way. There are so many problems to solve in USA and he focused on this.

Anyone who ever was a victim of bullying understands exactly what is going on and how it will end for those who wants to appease/bend to the bully. Yes, it will be painful for Canada, extremely. But you have to get really sick in order to recover stronger than ever before. Zelensky knew the inner workings of how bullies work so he probably knew the white house meeting won't end cordially especially it is occupied by people he has no love for and he understood the lack of love was mutual. Basically, for the past four years, Biden, Harris and the Democrat Party have spent hundreds of billions of US tax dollars flying illegal immigrants in and basically leaving America’s borders in Mexico and Canada wide open to mass illegal immigration. Then they lied to the American people about the real numbers and how bad the problem really was. In the past few years, the Democrats have spent billions throughout all of our federal agencies via misappropriated US taxpayer funds that were earmarked for American citizens or American infrastructure and development, then used these misappropriated, taxpayer funds to provide housing, food, education, medical care, and in most cases, luxury hotels. Just within the past two weeks FEMA spent over $500 million to provide luxury hotels for illegal immigrants yet a few weeks ago they were still claiming that they didn’t have enough money to help American citizens who suffered catastrophic loss during recent hurricanes and wildfires. The simple fact that Democrats got more upset that Elon Musk bought Twitter than they are, that their own political party in government for the past four years, has literally been holding them at gunpoint and forcing them to pay taxes so that they could steal it or launder it into their own campaigns and pockets is literally disturbing! WTF!!!! If any of those other federal agencies are ran or funded the way U.S. AID were, with the massive corruption, misappropriation, fraud and theft of taxpayer funds, then I hope DODGE goes through an completely audits, every single federal agency in the United States. No wonder the Democrats are freaking out the way they are, if the Republicans got caught this bad with their hand in the taxpayer cookie jar, then you know the Democrats would be screaming a different tune. The Democrats are trying to manipulate taxpayers into believing utter nonsense like their phrase “ no one voted for Elon Musk. “ but in reality no citizen ever votes for the hundreds of the civilian presidential appointed positions to run these federal agencies, every new president pics/appoints to these positions every term. It definitely explains why hard-working tax paying men and women are getting completely ripped off and robbed every time they look at their paycheck and see how extremely and unnecessarily high taxes are now. They were absolutely using tens of millions of US taxpayer funds to finance terrorist organizations like the Taliban and Isis, billions of US taxpayer funds, pushing their racist and sexist woke liberal DEI agenda across the globe, they were absolutely bribing corporate news media to control the narrative and manipulate the American people to influence elections via corporate news media subscription payments to very left, leaning news organizations, such as politico and others, that were clearly and obviously bribes to the media, just one of the NGO of many organizations under U.S. AID paid $75,000 of taxpayer money a year for a Digital subscription to politico’s corporate news outlet , that any one could sign up for $10 a year like any other news outlets digital subscription. The list of fraud, corruption, and very obvious US taxpayer funds theft, just goes on and on and on. I think the worst betrayal of it all is the fact that any US tax paying citizen or to steal one single US tax dollar from the government, we would be publicly arrested, put in handcuffs, charged with a felony, and prosecuted to the absolute max, the law would allow, but these Washington elite politicians are allowed to do this without even a public slap on the wrist is the most disgusting and devious, betrayal, and loss of trust that the American taxpayer has ever known.???????????????????????????????????????????

A lot of us Americans remember learning about the tariff wars in history class that ended up in deciding fair trade was the better route. I fear we’re about to learn the same lesson again…\n\nAs far as the drug trade goes apparently the GOV doesn’t spend enough time on the internet because the cartels are no longer just in Mexico they’re in the USA and in Canada. They have learned the Canadian border is a lot easier to cross and they can get into BC pretty easily due to relaxed immigration policies In Canada.. they probably don’t actually know where the drugs are coming from or where they’re being manufactured entirely. The cartels are probably a step ahead of them at the moment. \n\nI can’t believe the auto industry lobbyists were not instructed to go full send on the detriment of the opposite position taken from the NAFTA. The only thing I can see is auto sales are slumping and maybe they can blame this on the tariff policy for massive restructuring. \n\nI kind of understand wanting to negotiate with Mexico because they probably buy less American goods than Americans buy Mexican goods (drugs excluding) but I’m guessing Canada is a better customer of American goods than Americans are of Canadian goods. If Trump was really smart he’d convince some factories to actually invest in Mexico with cooperation from the Mexican government investing in efficient transportation from the manufacturing sectors to the American border and the coasts for distribution. This would likely really help their economy and change the whole dynamic of all the things Trump has issues with. Fix it at the source not try to treat the symptoms.

I really wish the global community would get involved in helping these suffering countries. These people are desperately trying to achieve any kind of livable conditions.

Imagine you have your family, including small kids and older parents in your home and had one extra room for rent, you put ads out in the paper and interview some people for the spot, but while you are doing that, someone walked in your door and put all their things in your the room and then expected you to totally be cool with it. Anyone in their right mind, would be frustrated, even if that person was really nice and and said they'd pay rent. Any sane person would say, leave, go through the interviews, background checks, and then we'll see if it works out. It's not that you don't want to help them, but you have an order and a procedure that is in place for many reasons. \n\nImmigration is the same. It's not that the administration is anti-immigrant. We welcome ANYONE to come, you just need to come through the approved channels.

It's straight up frustration with our puppet prime minister. He's doing what the WEF & Dr scratchnsniff tells him to. Flooding a country with immigrants has increased homelessness & made getting a job impossible. Even more impossible is getting ahead financially. Indian people are coming over in droves, led by the lie that everything is better in Canada, and they're not adopting the Canadian culture & integrating unhealthy aspects of their third world culture. It also doesn't help that the only political figure who can help fix the problem is also East Indian but refuses to do anything because he doesn't want to lose his pension.\n\nWho i really feel bad for are the Indians who have lived here & integrated into the culture and feel like they're guilty by association. \n\nIf the Indian people were more adept to adopting the Canadian culture, the momentum shift would be insane.

If it involves revoking citizenship, it could suggest intentions to target certain ethnicities, resembling a form of racial cleansing. So far, I haven’t heard much about who might be impacted, but it seems like this law could put a lot of people at risk.

I am sick to death of media cherry picking facts they want to share. Oh poor immigrants. With the government helping migraints, more is going to them than our own. What is happening is they are pushing out people in migraint held cities and displacing existing residents. So those disbled , elderly, veterans and drug addicted people who are being displaced are being forced to smaller communities that don't have the infrastructure in place to cope with so many displaced people. Then you end up with a huge issue of Homeless people trying to live in Tents in the middle of winter. j You have a vast number of elderly women taking to van life because they can't afford to live any other way. Would you like to your Grandma living in Van, constantly on the go? YOu are being UNAmerican in your news reporting, when you fail to give fair reporting and do equal amount of investigating into who this actually affects amount the American people. A Ukrainian immigrant here. Absolutely in love with beautiful canadian nature, cute little houses, especially townhouses in toronto, just so wholesome. As for life, you gotta be some sort of specialist like a doctor, or a proper construction worker, or a truck driver to have a decent life that goes beyond just getting by and eking out an existence. On my own i can make enough money for food and rent, but thats about it, and im happy about it, really, i get to be alive thanks to canada, but i really hope i could move out of here as soon as it becomes safe, or just move to a cheaper country thats a decent distance away from russia. I ended up being unemployed and i do feel like im in quite a real danger on eventually becoming homeless if i dont manage to procure a job, and you know how the job market is now. As for health care, i simply dont have access to it, at least i dont have a family doctor and have been trying for a while to get one. I haven't tried walking ins yet since i prioritize food over health now but i might someday. I just hope that whatever sickness bugs me is minor, i cant do anything about it. My teeth hurt too, but i cant afford a dentist, and ive found one Clinique in toronto that helps immigrants fix their teeth for cheap, they can help you with three teeth in total, and i've used up one of it, and saving the rest for real emergencies. I cant eat anything except for real soft food, and i know im not gonna get any help i could afford any time soon.\nOnce i get a job i will be saving as much money as i can to leave Canada, i don't know where yet but i'm doing my research and hopefully will find a place, and if not well, sucks to suck. I am a born and raised Canadian and have seen my country go downhill for at least the last couple of decades.\nHealth Care: doctors and nurses are moving Stateside in droves. No, the US doesn’t have universal health care but there are insurance plans and the care is enormously better. My girlfriend had 4th stage throat cancer. In Calgary the doctors at some point told her there was nothing more they could do for her and to get her affairs in order. Her father sent her to the Anderson Clinic in Houston - yes it was expensive but they treated her, saved her life and that was 24 years ago. \nIt’s common in our emergency rooms to wait up to 12 hours to be seen. \nOur system isn’t progressive and doctors and nurses don’t get paid near as well as in the States. That being said, I am happy that I don’t have to pay to see the doctor or have a stay in the hospital. \nCost of Living: Once upon a time it was good - housing was cheap and many companies had the full range of benefits and salaries were equal to the cost of living. Now these same companies have stripped the benefits by hiring people under contract so they don’t have to give them benefits. \nRents are through the roof and in Calgary there are no rent caps. Buying a decent house in a decent neighbourhood is impossible unless you inherit or make a six figure income. This, in no small part, has created a homelessness crisis that never had been seen in such numbers before. Crime also is getting worse by the day. Canada was once known as a safe country. This is no longer the case.\nEverything is very expensive and the tax very high. Plus, we have to suffer winter! Where I live, the joke is that we have two seasons - July and winter!\nI still like my city (not love) but I am retired and own two houses - one inherited and the other bought when it was affordable (32 years ago). Calgary would not be a place I would live if I was a newcomer. Vancouver is beautiful but you really pay for it. \nTrudeau has helped make a big mess of things with immigration and lax criminal laws. My beef is not with immigrants I must state - it is with the lack of jobs for them when they come, thereby forcing bad living conditions and an over reliance on the social systems. I add that the immigration population is much more willing to work in jobs they have to take (despite a high education) than our natural and bloated citizens.\nSo yes, Canada has increasingly gone downhill. On a positive note, hand guns at least are not legal and our country has beautiful natural land.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. I love the fact that you spoke some harsh truths here sir, much respect to you and your family sir. I hope you can continue making such informative videos for people to learn from. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. I went to college in brampton from 2019-2021. 2 white people 3 black people and 1 asian person in my classes (the group had the same classes). A couple nice punjabi guys explained that the others don’t like any other race. They all still asked me for help though, & after helping numerous guys who barely speak english they would leave and go back to talking in punjabi and never look at me again. really sad way to treat people who helped you

I feel bad for those who were duped into coming here to Canada. They had big dreams of becoming successful here, instead not being able to do that and being forced to live in cramped accommodations. I work in healthcare, and a lot of people who work in the facility in which I'm employed were brought here from the Philippines and India, mostly. Some were hired directly by this employer, while others came here some other way. Those with professions like being an RN were under the impression that it wouldn't take that long or be that difficult to get their Canadian certification to work as RNs here. Instead, they found out that the process for that here in Canada is a lot tougher and takes a lot longer than they'd been led to believe. So many are left not being able to use their education to its fullest, instead working as care aides until they can get the proper certification. I know that this has also happened with doctors and engineers and to many in other professions for which they went to school for years. It's a real shame.\n\nThis massive influx of people coming from other countries, though, has been really tough on those of us who were already living here. It's been way too many people, and we just weren't prepared. It's been one of the biggest factors in the huge increase of cost of living and, of course, it's by far the reason we have an enormous housing shortage.\n\nI'm not completely anti-immigration, but I think that it needs to be stopped, at least for a while. Let us deal with what's going on now instead of bringing in more people that would only help to make things worse, through no fault of their own. There's no reason that we need to have more people coming here right now. We have way more than enough people here right now.

Well, I am leaving, yes. Although I am very grateful with Germany, I work in IT, and I don't hold a diploma, but I have more than 20 years of experience in the field, I always been offered jobs beneath my experience, only because of a paper. I am Italian and was very enthusiastic when I arrive 4 years ago, but the way I was treated was mostly bad, that led me not wanting to study the language anymore, people were so agressive in the streets. When I needed the back of the justice, it was never on my favour, even when I was right, as I was hit in the street by a stranger who made my face bleed, police said that it was nothing and that it was the opposite, even when they had evidence. I was mistreated at a hospital in Schwabing, München and medical attention was refused, police didn't help and they requested my to litereally scream for help, and I did because I was bleeding on a place I didn't know, with -4 degrees, without any jacket. I even tried with the discrimination line, which doesn't work, and if you write them an Email, they will say they cannot help. I Will never understand that level of cruelty, not to mention 5000 Euros I had to pay for a ticket, because I suppousedly scratch the car of a person and because my Kaution was never returned, tried, but never got a lawyer, because you need to pay for the air you breathe in this country. ARD, what is that? You pay for the right of internet, and you pay internet as well, the desorganization with the states is massive, and often times, you will get a letter in your box post having to pay somehting else. My energy and money was completely drained. I just had it. Despite of everything, this country tought me great things, like discpline and hard work which I really appreciate and will take this knowledge...somewhere else. I also became better human being as a result of being exposed to all of the bad things. But I am isolated case, not everyone goes through these things, I did, and to me it was more than enough to wanting to Auf Wiedersehen. Unfortunaly Germany prefers to keep people who did not come to the country to add something, crazy as it seems, they would allow more people who rape, do not respect their culture and commit other crimes, instead of really welcoming people who came here to have a better life. Germany is currently too focused on other countries problems and failed on attending the needs of their citizens and the citizens who came to live here, including europeans, as myself. I truly believe that Germany is a beautiful country, München is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen, and has astonishing landscapes and vibrant nature. But...

We should be granting asylum to female/child refuges no doubt in my mind - but instead we are being flooded with economic migrants. Not only is this harmful for our own economy but the refugees who really need help and would show appreciation to their host country are being left behind to suffer.

My family are Central American immigrants. The vast majority of them have been blue collar hard working people that helped shape what we live in today. I am first generation born Canadian coming from this blue collar family of hard working immigrants that earned their Canadian citizenship. I think most of us who have immigrant family from anywhere have seen this. I cannot necessarily say I’ve seen this type of work or drive to contribute from the Indians that immigrate to Canada. Yes there are some who really contribute, but that should be the norm not the exception. I don’t have anything against them, I just really wished Canada would be more diligent on who they let in and how many they let in. This is the result of just opening the flood gates. Canada has always been multicultural, but you gotta earn your keeps.

Let’s imagine that you have a medical condition called canadasia. There is a knowledgeable community of physicians that can really help with canadasia disease. But there are lot of crack doctors on YouTube who claim they know everything about canadasia because they have watched lot of videos and articles on canadasia. Would you take your advice from the crack doctor or approach someone with the right qualifications? Today’s young generation is looking for all their solutions on YouTube and that has caused crack doctors to proliferate. What does YouTube do? They are now down ranking the videos of the crack doctors to show content from more reliable sources. But when it comes to arbitrary things like going to Canada how does Google know how to down rank bad videos by people claiming to be expert on these subjects? Please do your own research and choose reliable sources is all I have to say to the youth of today.

I live in Calgary with a spouse and two kids and what most people would consider successful and it is nothing what I would have expected. We are mid 30s with a high household income and still struggle. We are self made (no family help) and between the house, kids, and insanely high living costs (think food, taxes, insurance, transportation...ect) we just get by. We struggle and then I think of the families making the average income and it blows my mind. I don't know how all the parents out there do it. This country is broken. Housing is insane, every industry is dominated by one or two corporations putting the screws to everyone making the cost of living unsustainable, and the government taxes you into the ground...how long can it really last

Most of what was reported here is true but the housing market and rents have skyrocketed all over the world since the Chinese government F'd everyone with Covid-19. At first there were supply chain issues with all goods so businesses said we have to increase prices. Once supply issues were back to pre-Covid-19 levels businesses did not & will not lower their prices on goods because , we as a society do not take matters into our own hands and boycott products\\company's etc. Now obviously we cannot boycott all goods & services but the majority we could and that is the only thing that would cause action among companies to lower bank fees, fast food prices, grocery prices, cell plan costs etc.\n\nWith that said, you picked two of the highest and most sought after city's in CAN to rent & or try to buy a home. Although rent & home prices have really jumped all over the world in the past 3-4 years, more affordable (still not cheap) housing, compared to Toronto, Vancouver, can be found all across CAN. My sister & brother in law found an apartment to rent in Winnipeg without any difficulty or waiting. \nThey are immigrants and entered on her student Visa & he is a computer programmer. They are not struggling to eat but they have to follow a tight budget since she cannot work but 20 hours a week as a student and they have 1 kid, a car payment,utilities, cell plan, etc. They have filed for their PR and I suspect they will be approved since his job is in demand and she will graduate from College there in 4 months or so.\n\nOne thing I noticed, when my wife & I went up to get them settled in, is that the government (national & local) taxes you all pay out of the wazzoo on everything! I think the only thing that wasn't taxed was air. ? I know most of this is due to the healthcare system, because the money has to come from somewhere. Don't misunderstand, I like the CAN healthcare system better than the US's, because the insurance companies stick it to us as well, but both have their pluses and minuses.\n\nCAN does have a much easier system for immigration. If my sister & bro in law could have come here we would have been glad for them to stay with us and help them get started but the backlog is just so long to wait (10 + years). I also LOVE CAN because you uphold your laws and DEPORT illegal immigrants instead of letting them pour into the Country, by the millions each year, and the majority eventually trickle into the population illegally, who get jobs & pay no taxes (other than sales tax) no driver's licenses or vehicle insurance and get 100% free medical and hospital care anytime while legal US citizen's pay high premiums, into social security and their income taxes each year.

The crazy thing is that some Canadians still have faith in Trudeau's party or just have too much trust in the government that they can turn this around. I want to see this country prosper but every few months I just keep on seeing new policies that the current government makes that just doesn't make sense.\n\nFew things to mention\n- No more investment in more roads by the federal government (I understand they want essentially to have citizens use cars less but they haven't provided a plan on how that money would be invested? I have yet to see trains being invested to connect cities such as High speed rail?)\n- Increased carbon taxes (most premiers were against this but they negged it on)\n- proposal and voting for Increasing taxes on capital gains (impact business that invest in Canada)\n- This is a positive thing but also happened because they polls went to the dump (increased investment in housing) and then decrease foreign student admission for future years ( I think this is where liberals say they have hope, but it's at a point where they messed it up and now are trying to fix it to make it look like they are fixing someone else's mess\n- The government is also just adding more policies we can't afford such as Dental plans for certain incomes, food in schools while the free health care doesn't really feel worth the taxes when the quality is not there. So, I wonder how many of these African refugees she has arranged to stay at her own, of some of her relatives’ abodes. \n \nBut, considering there would EASILY be 2 billion featureless bipeds traipsing the planet residing in the Third World who reside in dire economic, and sociological quagmires, and would UPROOT themselves in a moment to go a western country to get free housing and welfare means it wouldn’t take long to transform these places they lob in, to be turned into Third World shitholes. \n \nIn Britain (overwhelmingly England) over 80 percent of robberies, and knife crimes are carried out by black African youths who are mainly the offspring of asylum seekers from Africa. In France, Africa youths are also a huge part of their social problems. And it’s all manifestly due to the fact that, Africans are overtly devoid of the capacity to study really hard – like Chinese or Indians – to improve their lots. Hence, they are (as the fellow in the reddish colour shirt bemoans) looking for handouts. \n \nAs for international students: they (and not just in Canada) are a major reason why there is a housing crisis and, moreover, why rents are excessive. International students in Canada, Australia, Holland and NZ, are in plague proportions and are a HUGE problem: well, except for the people running education institutions, and employers who exploit them for low wages.
