i am an indian who has never left his country and it makes me sad that my countrymen are ruining other countries as well. if you can't speak english, you have no right to stay there, as simple as that, and it is strange how Canada is ruined by Punjabis, sikh terrorists in particular, as you can see all these are Punjabi sikh families, yet the hate is given to Indians and specifically to Hindus. I am not defending HINDUS here; there have been incidents where HINDUS have done things worthy of backlash, and they should be deported as well for their absolute religious stupidity, but why target only a specific religion and not the one that has done much worse, like literally being involved in criminal activities and notorious for it not only in Canada but in India as well? Exploited every policy and turned a Canadian city into its own home state city, and then felt proud of it in Indian podcasts: "yeah, Brampton feels like Punjab only."🤡 says a glorified ignorant Punjabi singer.

I think due to the prosperity and stability Canada has enjoyed for so long Canadians have developed a certain standard of living and expectations in regards to that. So no, we don't want to have to work 2-3 minimum wage paying jobs to get by, no we don't want to live 4 or more to a 400 sqft studio apartment, yes we want to be able to afford our own homes, yes we want to be able to achieve a stable middle class lifestyle. That doesn't work for the crony capitalists who's greed and lust for power always needs satiating. So we have the Liberal government bringing in more immigrants than we have infrastructure to accommodate in an effort to keep wages down so profits can always be up. Immigrants who are willing to accept a lower quality of life than what most Canadians expect/accustom to because it's still superior to where they came from. So the quality of life for all Canadians is exponentially reduced. We are to accept a lower quality of life and if we resist then we are branded with all kinds of derogatory names; racist, xenophobe, fascist, unacceptable fringe, far-right extremists, et al. What's undeniable is that before the Liberals took power in 2015 we had an immigration system in Canada that worked quite well and that since the Liberals took power our immigration system is a destructive mess. This isn't by accident or incompetence, it's intentional, by design. Unfortunately Canada has a problem with so much of our population being ideologically blind, willingly ignorant, easily manipulated, cowardly staying in an abusive relation with our current oppressive government. Question is can the country be saved before too much damage is done?

Good the more immigrants that leave the better it will be for Canada they come here for a better life for safety for this for that they're all set up by the government giving houses cars don't have to worry about nothing it's all provided for them through the taxpayers money well the real Canadians are living out on the streets and eating out of garbage bins I don't have a bed or a roof over their heads due to the immigrants coming into our country then they come into our country in protest terrorist actions destroy our buildings are statues our churches block our streets hospitals shopping malls an etcetera they disrespect our rules and regulations and think they can voice their opinion on everything and get away with it they come here most of them with a green card as a visitor from another land overseas and yes they think they're a real Canadian but never contribute never done nothing for the country but just take from the real Canadians that made the country to what it is today and it's all government doing before they give a house or car or anything that they get the immigrants get if you're standing alongside of one peppermint will give it to the immigrant faster than what they'll give to a real Canadian they're more or less told to sleep on the streets and eat out of garbage bins because he's immigrants deserve nothing but the best in our country we have to show them that they are welcomed no they're not welcome anymore Canadian should come first not somebody that came in on a boat or an airplane from another country and overseas it's a government can't look after their own then they shouldn't be in the government because our prime minister is supposed to be protecting the real Canadians not the ones that are coming in over our borders I wonder if that's ever going to change probably not because they still need these foreigners votes just stay in the position where they're at Canada has become a very undeveloped country now in Canada has been put into a lot of danger due to the terrorism that's in our country from the people that they bought in our country from overseas I mean just look at all the protesting from the palestines and Hamas people what they've done so far to Canada we see it on the news just about every day ask for their rights anyways I can keep going on but it's not worth my time tomorrow is never promised it's just that I know Canada is sinking and sinking fast due to our government and their policies but when it sinks do you think the government's going to stand on board and go down with the ship nope I'll be in another country safe and sound

Well, I don't think so; Indian international students asap take advantage of PR because they hate extended visas. They are more jealous of Canada for PR. They must learn the study is done when they go to home in India. They don't want go to Indian because they are stubborn to stay in Canada. No excuse!!! They are done go to home in Indian....

Canadian born citizen here. I am almost done my degree. Once I'm done well I have been saving up for tuition well before starting university so I will pay that in cash and then head out to perhaps the states. I get it that they have the same issues as us but there is definitely room for improvement. You can't progress in Canada like you can in America. The most you will make in Canada is what you are paid for a few years of experience in America. Have several years of experience? You will make double. It's sad to see what it has become but if no decisions are made on the federal level most will have no choice but to go somewhere else.\n\nEdit: I also have family in America that will allow me to stay with them until I get settled as well. I can't talk from a point of experience in Canada but from a point of experience in Kenya. Yes things are tough everywhere but I believe things are tuffer here in Kenya, well unless you have a good job, good business or money to invest. I have done of research about Canada, Germany, UK and even Finland. What I have learnt is that opportunities are there as opposed to Kenya. Here in Kenya it's doesn't matter if you have a skill, or papers getting a job is not easy and even harder is getting a good paying job. Most people makes less 10 CAdollars per day which today 1000 or 30 per month minimum wage in Canada is i guess 14.5 in the less expensive provinces. If you work 14 hours per \nDay which I believe possible you have about uko na 20k in ksh, pay tax of maybe 30% combined you have about 130 cad per day work for 25 days in a month you will have about 3250 net stay in most affordable place(hujaenda raha) you can get 1250 in low cost province (not Ontario or BC though here minimum wage iko juu), groceries and expenses budget 1000 per month you can save about 100k ksh pm, save in Cad for few years stay like a student on the budget but work like a donkey. Come back home in few years lets say 5 with save coins probably CAD will trading at 150 coz the hit shilling is taking mind-blowing. You will have 6m to invest any interest or forex gain use them to cover your vacation here in Kenya yes land in Diani you will have missed such weather, enda masai Mara (you deserve it), go visit your parents and most importantly find an investment opportunity you can do real estate but find ideal location but only if you have enough capital ya kujenga and then find someone professional to manage the construction not sending money to your relatives wanapiga sherehe nazo unatumiwa picha za mjengo za nyumba za wenyewe. I am commenting from Canada and seeing people getting frustrated coming on visitor visa to look for work/convert visa to work permit. Even employers with LMIA approval are asking for work permits. Anyone coming to Canada should preferably secured a job or school before coming here. It is so so so expensive and jobs aren’t easy to get without Canadian credentials or experience . Any Canadian credentials including a certificate will up your game in getting a job. Meanwhile while in school you can now work unlimited hours but ensure you stay in school and finish. Be careful with agents promising jobs . It is hard here but once you get into the system hard & smart work pays. And getting into the system can only be done front door. What one pays an agent for visitor visa, you might as well do a one year certificate that’s approved for post graduate work permit. Less headache and better opportunities. When a deal sounds too good think twice- agents are really smooth talkers and super salespeople from what I’m told by those coming here through them. Be wise….I have no regrets coming here I wish I did it earlier as I’d have gained more through longer school options in my youth ?.

Immigrated to Canada 15 years ago, and I, too, experienced the problem with Canadian labour experience to get a job in my field even after make some studies here, but in the end, I made it. Finally what made me stay here was not job or making-money opportunities, it was Canadian values, culture, landscapes, less crowded cities, life quality and quietness. I love this country. I like USA to visit though.

I do not mean to be negative here but anyone of you who is well settled outside Canada, don't come to Canada!, unless you want to do labor work. I know people who have done Masters in Software engineering are working in a Pizza shops. If there is one job opening there are 10 thousand applicants for the same job. Companies showing fake jobs to satisfy govt. pressures. Automated refusals replies of your job applications are common.\n People get hired on sources and within companies. Racism exists, results are killings every now and then. Go and watch news channels like CP24. Thieves are here. Things do get stolen. Recently mass graves are found near schools in multiple areas of small children of indigenous people who were tortured and killed by white supremacy in the past. Recently a whole family is killed by a maniac. No capital punishments so killers, rapists walks free after 10-15 years tops.\n\nAshir sahib is being a little dramatic. I moved to Niagara region and they charged me $200 deposit for water $200 deposit for hydro plus monthly bills separate. $1800 to $2000 is the rent of one bed apartment. Burlington where he lives has $2800 to $3000 rent monthly for a house. Go check online! Price of buying a home is in millions of dollars. Go check real estate.

Okay. A lot of people here have no clue how the immigration system works both in the US and in Canada. “He should just have come here legally”. Well, most of the time a legal path to emigrating to the US/Canada just does not exist, and its getting more and more impossible to be granted asylum. In the US you can’t just apply for a work visa, you can’t just apply for a green card. You got to be eligible to apply for it. For a work visa you need a job offer first, you need proof of income and most of the time the employer will have to prove they couldn’t find an American to take the position. To get a green card you either have to get married to an American, invest at least $500,000 or try applying for asylum (which is almost impossible to get nowadays). ALSO to apply for asylum you need to be either inside the US or at a US port of entry. Try to be less “patriotic” and more empathetic. People flee their countries because of war, violence, cartels, gangs, terrorism, etc. They are desperate and want to protect their families and have a better life. If you were in their shoes and staying in your home country put your family in great harm you would have done the same thing. People need to stop judging, stop being selfish and start leading with empathy.
