You have to do what you truly believe is best for yourselves, your children & grandchildren.. You are right, Canada has changed, it no longer is a welcoming multi cultural country. Your 5 reasons are all hitting that nail on the head,, and part of the problem is that many Canadians just do not know what Islam is. I believe that ISIS did a lot of damage to the true Islam faith. The current Canadian Government is all screwed up !! Malaysia will be lucky to have you, enjoy the transition..

Wassalam, brother. ??\n\nMalaysia indeed stands out as the optimal choice among Muslim countries for a quality life. With its Sunni majority and 99.99% Muslim population among the native 22 million Malays, there's religious freedom for other faiths, though discussions about Islam require careful consideration. The strong bonds among Muslims, despite diverse races, foster a sense of unity. ❤❤\n\nMaking a living as a Muslim native English speaker in Malaysia is ideal, offering opportunities in madrasah, tahfiz for Islamic education, and other activities. Special skills are welcomed for employment, and a salary range of RM5k-10k, particularly with Canadian-based companies, is considered sufficient. Yet you can ask for more, RM15k-70k should you have reasonable qualifications. \n\nFor a comfortable living setup in Malaysia, having around CAD100k (RM350k) for a family of four can sustain a decent lifestyle for 2-3 years. The future holds great promise in various aspects, making Malaysia a compelling choice. ????

Big decision, but so is the world. Have you considered what you would do for a living? I'm sorry I don't know much about your family. \nIf you can work from anywhere in the world, then you have a few choices. Someone suggested Malaysia. I think that is very good option. Its technically advanced, people are kind and warm, living expenses are very reasonable. I have only visited once, but I loved it. Felt completely comfortable (I don't wear the hijab). This was my experience from over 25years ago. \nIf you want to consider an Arab country, I would highly recommend checking out Oman, that is where I am from. I lived in the US for over 25 years, and now I love living in Oman. Its very calm, people are kind and welcoming. Winters are great here, but summers are very hot. Most foreigners who come here, never want to leave. The sense of serenity here is addictive. \nGood luck in your search.

Assalamualaikum Brother Will and Sister Sana. I am Kevin Omar Lopez Castellanos. I have donated and commented in the past. If you wish to move to a more Muslim-friendly environment, may I suggest the Islamic Community here in Atlanta, GA, USA? We're still in the process of growing but Alhamdulillah we have made great progress in the past few years. I am a student at Madina Institute in Duluth, GA studying under wonderful teachers who are students of Shaykh Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Ninowy. I am a convert of two years and have found myself flourishing as a Muslim here since I joined. There will be struggles and adjustments, no cap, but I love this community with my very soul. Shakyh Al-Ninowy has a campus in Canada but Atlanta is the headquarters. In my hometown, halal businesses and Muslim environments have grown. And there are programs here that can prove very beneficial for your children Insha'Allah. And if you need someone to introduce you, myself and the Madina family will welcome you with open arms Insha'Allah. And if not Atlanta, Madina has other campuses in the US (Milwaukee & Little Rock). We also have campuses in South Africa, Malaysia, India, UK, and Norway.
