It's not race that makes countries great or bad. Since there is just one human race. Its the culture that makes places great. Culture or shared ideas among the populace. Specially ideas of being open minded, living and letting live, freedom, being tolerant etc. These are the best ideas or culture that if held long enough by the majority of the people will turn that place into a great civilization indeed. Every great civilization of history was built through this culture in history. persian empire, macedonian empire, roman empire, british empire and now the united states etc... were/are all very diverse and very tolerant of indians and their ideas... cultural exchange of ideas through indians and receiving diverse viewpoints which helped them become great. However great empires, great places and civilizations never last. They fall down. They fall down once the culture changes. which is natural since culture is not static but dynamic, since it exists only in the minds of people, it can change in the same generation, or in the next - all it takes is replacing existing ideas with other ideas in the minds of people large enough. This is what we are seeing happening in canada and India... a shift of culture. The same culture of responsible for turning India into a terrible country is being adopted by canadians. Meanwhile for the past few decades.. india on the other hand has been adopting the better culture and growing slowly and steadily with many mistakes and hurdles along the way towards a brighter future... slowly because its huge... steadily because it knows where to go.... mistakes and hurdles because its an open democracy... If this cultural shift keeps continuing this way... There will come a time where canada would look more like afghanistan and India will look like the us or scandinavia... However i hope thats not the case. and its just a phase that does not lead to some significant revolution in terms of peoples thinking.

I feel this video does cover what's happening but don't answer the question why its happening. Here's what i think- To start with - A major population of indian immigrants in Canada come from two provinces/states - Punjab and Gujarat. From Punjab - Most of the population who migrates to Canada are villagers. They are notoriously famous in Punjab cities as well for creating trouble. They have no civic sense, always getting involved in illegal stuff, some use drugs, no etiquettes, poor hygiene and very arrogant sometimes. Another thing, Canadian government over the years stopped taking in-person interviews and got lenient with rules for gaining a visa especially for students which doesn't make sense and one should be catious so of what kind of people they are letting in their country. This leads to letting in a bunch of wrong people who are already a troublemaker in Punjab and then represents a bad of side of Indians. A side note - Every Indian province is very very different and not all people are same in India. It's definitely a shit situation which shows Canadian government definitely needed a better way to handle immigration. A lot of international students has been exploited by the system as well if you get to know from there point of view as well. Seeing the thumbnail and title of this video shows what kind of a person Tyler is. Without a proper research and understanding, he just made a video to appease people who hates on Indians. Title says Invasion, is he for real? I see way more Chinese immigrants here in Canada than any other nationality. Punjabi Indians are to be blamed as for creating a bad picture for themselves but hating on whole country without knowing them feels prejudiced. I hope whoever is reading to really open their eyes and understands that this is a government failure for not having strict rules and regulations. Indians have been immigrating to Canada for more than 100 years but you see them as a problem now due to last 8 years of bad decisions. Last thing, you see more Indians in Tim Hortons and mock them, is that a bad thing on loving and supporting a Canadian brand? Definitely poor english speaking employees is a problem, but that is a management issue. You don't like it, have a word with the Manager if they don't act on it, then I guess they don't really care for your opinion. Its on you now whether you want your coffee or better english 😂

We need to see people being charged and walked in front of cameras. We need criminals to go to court, be convicted and let the public see the process. The elephant in the room is the fact that the majority of immigrants come from one country. As someone who proudly escaped Canada I understand the difficulties of adapting and integrating into another culture. It is difficult and it would be far easier if there were just so many Canadians here that none of us have to adapt or learn a new language but could simply live in an insular community of Canadians and transplant our own culture here. When I go back to Canada I see that that is exactly what has happened there.

It's sad to see what has happened to our immigration system. It's not sustainable and not just not only for Canadian citizens but also for the new immigrants that arrive and can't find work or afford rent.

I grew up in Brampton from 1985 to 2010. I watched it change. Not for the better. I got the hell out there and every time I go back to visit my fam, it's even worse. Almost never seeing any other race but Indian lol. It all has to do with Trudeau's dad designating that city as a go-to place for Indian migrants. The Trudeau's are part of the whole Satanic New World Order, and part of that order is using mass immigration as a weapon to destroy 1st world countries. His father started it back in the 70s. And yeah the driving is absolutely horrible. The car insurance skyrocketed. They destroyed the city I grew up in. It's a shit hole now. Many of them will tell you that India itself is a shit hole, but the more of them that come to Brampton, or wherever, they turn it into India. I don't consider it racism. It's their people but it's not like it's all of them, but it is a lot. From personal observance, they're the most unhygienic people I've ever met, and they love easy jobs the involve scamming others out of money. All of those scam callers are Indian. Nothing else. They have no dignity. No self respect. They just want money and don't care how to get it. I generally don't like them, but it's because of their negative behaviors. There are plenty of other races that come to Canada that people love. Have you ever heard of anyone complain about Filipinos? No. They're loved. They come here and know how to assimilate while keeping their own heritage intact in respect to our own. They're friendly, respectful, hygienic. Indian people just want to come here and make this place Indian and they have tons of kids, so that's exactly what's happening. Brampton was cooked years ago. It's just going to devour itself and fully become an extension of India, and it already has been spreading out from Brampton to the surrounding cities.

Immigration dividing Canada? Yeah, too many immigrants and refugees results in absolute frustration! Everywhere you look, there's a new arrival. Majority of them are Indians. Predominantly from Punjab... The entire country of Canada smells like curry. Nothing resembles like old Canada. Turbans and beards in every corner. Hijab is the new fashion. English is a thing of the past. This is done because liberal party of Canada needed voters and they opened the flood gates. Here's an example of how bad things are in Canada. Google town of "WAWA" in Ontario Canada. This is an old mining town and it is pretty much dead. Now, look up the Indian population in this one horse town. Now, see what kind of invasion has happened and imagine that situation in a major city. Canada is ruined and funeral services will follow.

As a Canada who speaks both French and English and who follows politics quite closely, I have to say that the headline and some of the reporting here is quite misleading. A reduction in immigration has broad support across Canada. I wouldn't say that notion is dividing the country in any significant way. You do have certain industry groups that disagree, but among the population these reductions have broad support. This is a historic change in public opinion in Canada, but it has been driven by the unprecedented increase in immigration under the last term of the Trudeau government. To put this in context, non-permanent residents in Canada numbered around 1.5 million on Q3 2023, but by Q3 2025, that number sat a just over 3 million. The previous government increased immigration targets by 3 or 4 times over what they had been for years, which caused a number of economic issues. Essentially, the volume was simply too high for the economy and society to support. This was unfair to both Canadians and new comers, many of which could not find employment or afford a decent place to live. The changes being suggested are largely bringing Canada back to what the targets were for over a decade before, though a bit lower to account for the sudden surge. Canada remains one of the most pro-immigration countries in the world. However, and this is where I think DW's reporting is misleading, there is a distinction to be made between policies at the federal level and policies at the provincial level. Immigration, per our constitution, is a federal matter, however, Quebec in particular is distinct from other provinces. I don't mean only culturally and linguistically, but also in the powers that have been devolved to it by the federal government. On the question of immigration, Quebec has more powers and more ability to set its immigration targets and programs than any of the other 9 provinces. The particular program discussed here, the Quebec Experience Program (PEQ), is a particular immigration stream that only existed in Quebec. So what is happening with that program cannot be labeled as a whole-of-Canada thing. Where the changes to the PEQ are controversial, unlike the general changes at the federal level, is that people who immigrated under that specific program were promised certain things. There was a multi-year time line to Permanent Residency and then Citizenship. Many of those people have been in Quebec for 5-8 years already. However, the changes made to the program were done in such a way where people who many years into the program, had gotten an education, started a career, had children, ect. are now being told they can't continue and must leave Canada. There are even stories of people who married Canadians, now have children, and the one parent who was under this program now faces the possibility of having to leave Canada and be separated from their family. All through no fault of their own. That is what many people see as unfair, and I agree, however limiting future applications under the program, to bring in less people, that is not controversial. Canada has no responsibility to bring in people who are not already in Canada, but Canada does have some responsibility towards people who uprooted their lives to move to Canada and built new lives here based on promises and representations made to them by the Canadian and Quebecois governments. We should no simply kick those people out of the country.

Journalism is very important for sure, but empathy is even more important. People from 1st world countries will never understand how is it to live on a place that was colonized by the 1st world countries, can only guess about it. I feel like a foreigner in Toronto for sure, especially my area. The Indian population skyrocketed when Trudeau decided to solve one problem by creating another (I'm being polite here). Good riddance to him, but the problems remains, bringing with it cockroaches and bedbugs (the latter of which was not a problem until their arrival.. just sayin'...). Fortunately for me I can afford to live in a more affluent area, but I see what is happening. Every.. and I mean EVERY service here... is now run by Indians. I'm not a racist.. but I AM a classist (and saying what we are all thinking), and the class that came over in droves the last 10 years are turning this place into the slum they came from.

There is a very dangerous and disturbing trend happening where openly racist people are being praised as "honest"! It's one thing closing your borders to immigrants but it's a whole other thing trying to institutionalise racism! Reducing it to a race issue is so reductive and incredibly ignorant. This is a complex issue - most communities are suffering from a lack of infrastructure and planning with the sudden mass immigration that's happened. Let me also remind you - Canada is a MULTICULTURAL country, with most of it being TREATY LAND. Which means that at one point, us or our ancestors were the assholes who came here and didn't assimilate. Ah, see, that happened to me 3 times. A black person got served before me. Two jumped ahead in line on their own. I stood up to each of them, but the white libertards complained. I seen the same thing happening in California. It's in small towns adjacent to the 5 freeway in the Grapevine area . North of Magic Mountain. You'll see mostly only Indian stores and restaurants. Indiana don't like to assimilate to American cultures.

I just watched Tucker’s interview with the man that made the documentary “Replacing Europe” and it was very eye opening! Even if you are not a fan, I encourage you to watch. This is happening all over!! Apparently, many places in Europe can’t even build a military because they don’t have anyone to actually fight for Europe due to them all being migrants. Lots of other interesting things I didn’t know. Honestly, it’s kind of heartbreaking to see such beautiful places changed so drastically and becoming so dangerous for everyone. As a Canadian born, brown resident of Brampton, it truly sucks to see the Canadian culture we all love be completed obliterated by large scale, unchecked immigration from India specifically. In the gym, grocery store and most other common spaces, people speak Punjabi, not English. Truly horrible what happened to what was once such an awesome country and the worst part of it is, nobody, no policy maker will ever face justice for the cultural destruction they have caused. Sometimes though, I think, maybe Canada and Canadians dug their own grave. They/we voted in Liberal leadership time and time and time again, even when we saw our country being destroyed, in front of our very eyes.

Good journalism, both sides being presented here, the reasons why it happened, the stereotypes. While I don't really have a strong opinion about Brampton being mostly Indians, I do have an opinion that Canadians should condemn other areas as well that are majority of immigrants. Vaughn area is filled with Chinese people no one makes a fuss about it. They ain't speaking english, they aint serving American junk food everywhere, yet Indians are a problem. The community has vices, but justifying xenophobia with that is awful. European descendant people came here and took over native Canadians. Can't think how it must've felt for them. So a mass migeration movement happen that every sikh families were moving in Cannada for good quality of Life....
