If any American is shocked by this and believe that this deterioration of relations happened over night… allow me to remind you that not just Canada, but the entire world has prepared for this starting in Tr**p’s first term when he first started breaking ties with allies and sat in bed with your enemies. That is why the world is backing Canada so quickly and aggressively - we saw this coming and we decided back then that we needed to prepare for a world without the USA… and here we are! For any Americans who believe your ‘leader’ that this is the age when the world will respect the USA again, it is precisely the opposite… and if you don’t want to believe that, well, wishing you all the best. The world has never ever had as little respect for the USA as today… and Putin is just laughing his ass off because he has your ‘leader’ wrapped around his finger.

Im Canadian....not that I agree with the tariffs, but this POS Trudeau has shut down government the last 2 months. Nothing is getting done. He has time to fly to Ukraine but no time to sit down and hammer out a deal with the USA. He has caused all the issues Trump has complained about. He has destroyed our country from within. He is the worst neighbor a country can ask for. Weak leadership. Porous unsecure border. Weakest military of any first world nation. And a disciple of China. He is ALL OUR ENEMY!

This is how fascism begins. First you find external enemies, then you arrest students for protesting, and then the whole country becomes the slave of a crazy old man. It happened like that with Hitler, it happened like that with Stalin, it happened like that with Putin, it will happen in the USA.
